I've been going to Autocolor for around 20 years now. Everything I have taken him was collision repair working with an insurance company for payment. The insurance companies are only looking to reduce their bottom line....but Kevin won't let that happen. And will deliver good quality even if it means battling the insurance company for payment to do the job right. Kevin's work is exceptional. And his attention to detail is outstanding. He will find little things that I don't even notice or that other body shops would likely overlook or not repair. This attention to detail, even if it takes a little longer to get the job done, is worth the wait! Kevin has always done an excellent job. Where to start... From the time I dropped my car off to the time I picked it up, it was a total nightmare. Kevin did such terrible work on my car. He took over 3 weeks to simply replace a headlight and fender, do some painting and return the car. I got the car back, OMF'nG. Paint drips. Paint runs. Panels not installed correctly. Huge noticeable gaps between panels. Needless to say, I did NOT want to take my car back to the man that stole my marijuana out of my car while he was working on it and delivered a car to me with SO MANY noticeable problems.... But, I HAD TO take it back to him if I wanted the car to be fixed properly without having to pay MORE out of pocket to take it somewhere else. The problems just kept coming... Kevin is such a liar and thief. He bullshitted me the whole time, saying "it'll be done tomorrow," but would really take WEEKS more than he had said. I took the car back after the first 3 weeks he had it because he needed to fix all of the aforementioned problems. One of the problems I noticed was my AC wasn't performing well. I've been to refrigeration school so I know a thing or 2 about AC. Kevin overcharged my AC system which slowly destroyed my compressor. That cost me about $900 out of pocket to have that replaced and the whole system cleaned, etc. I'm sure Kevin's to blame for my AC because my AC system was sealed from the factory. It had NEVER been worked on. The charge in the system was perfect before he evacuated the system and removed parts of my AC so he could repair the car. When he put the AC back together, he put too much R-134a in my car, destroying my compressor. I have pictures I'd love to upload so you can see the terrible quality of his work. So, in total, I paid for 36 full days in a rental car. I paid $900 to fix my AC. I paid Kevin over $1600 out of my own pocket, not including how much he stole from Geico. WHAT A SHADY CHARACTER!!! This dude had every scam in the book going at the same time. He's scamming me, the insurance company, parts dealers. Everyone he could scam, he did. Every penny he could pinch, he pinched. He's a scumbag. He will steal your personal belongings if you leave them in the car. He will destroy your car if you aren't looking over his shoulder the whole time. I would never recommend taking anyone's car to "Auto Color" even if every other body shop in the US closed, I'd still recommend fixing it yourself even if you know nothing about auto repair. You'll DEFINITELY do a better job than he would. That's the truth. No embellishing. No exaggerating. I even left out a few things. I could keep writing for an hour. Kevin Ganzler is a scumbag thief and he will destroy your car. My advice, LISTEN TO YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY!!! Take your car to the shop they recommend and work with regularly. I am extremely impressed with Kevin and his shop. The work they did to get my truck fixed is amazing! Kevin was in constant contact with me regarding any repairs or any updates with insurance etc. They went above and beyond to repair and fix the damages to my truck! Auto Color was my 3rd estimate after my suv was damaged. I was simply driving around Deer Valley looking for body shops when I found Kevin's shop. From the very beginning he let me know the work estimated was on the low side from the other shops and in order to do it right he explained what needed to be done. A lot of other places low ball then add on more $$ once they have your car. His estimate was straight forward and honest in my experience. I chose his shop because it made sense how he explained the work needed to be completed. He had my car one week and when I picked it up I couldn't BELIEVE how gorgeous and perfect it looked!!! Perfect color match, all the damage gone PLUS he polished my dull , scratched and yellowed headlights! They look brand new! I was super excited to see how pretty my car was again!
