This was my second time having repairs done by Unique Dent Removal. Both times (not sure I reviewed my first time) were excellent experiences. Somebody backed in my car in a parking lot and the rear was damaged. I opened an insurance claim against the other person and it did not go anywhere. The adjuster kept giving me the brushoff!! Quinn took care of everything for me with the insurance and I could not be happier of the result. It was fast and my car looks like new. I've used Quinn twice more since my original review, so I think an update is in order. First, in addition to dent removal services, he does detailing and even owns an auto body shop that does work on a word-of-mouth-only basis, as well as for a few car dealerships. I had Quinn detail the metal tonneau cover on my truck, which had become oxidized and dull after years of exposure to the elements. He uses a special detailing product line called Jax Wax and the results were awesome. The shine was restored and water beads up on the wax, like it should. Yesterday I discovered a fresh dent on my new truck, so I knew who to call. I watched Quinn work his magic for about 20 minutes. Despite the difficult location of the dent on the lower edge of the door, he made it disappear. I learned he's been doing dent removals by hand since 1989 and his expertise shows. Quinn is an great person! Called Quinn this morning to set up an appointment to have some dents repaired on my Jeep. Was able to meet Quinn at his shop 2pm and he informed me what he is able to do with the dents I have on my vehicle, being that I had a clear wrap on my vehicle where the dents were and he stated that the repair may not be perfect because of the clear wrap. This was the third repair shop I had requested a quote from. He didn't just come out and take a quick glance at the damage. He came out. Looked at the damage and then ran through a series of tests to make sure he knew exactly what was going on. I thought I'd have to replace my backup sensor which costs over $1,000. He removed the broken bumper had me turn on the car and put it in reverse while he tested the sensor which turned out to NOT be broken despite what the last 2 places had said. I was pretty unimpressed with unique dent removal. I showed up at 8:10, as 8 AM is advertised as their opening time. The door was locked and no one was there but when I called the Number a man picked up and said he'd be there in about 10 minutes. So I waited and had him check out my problem area. He said the damage needed bodywork and and wouldn't be able to be fixed with a simple dent removal. I asked him how much this bodywork would be and he quoted me $1000 minimum. I went to get a quote for the bodywork from my regular mechanic Who typically does my body work and he quoted me $600. I took my BMW hardtop convertible there for minor bumper body damage and the fact that the hardtop convertible roof would not work. Quin the manager assessed the car and informed me, that the body damage was merely cosmetic and had no effect on the top not working. His advice was to trade the car in. He then proceeded to get his laptop and spent time with in his waiting room to find a replacement car. He then called the dealer and spoke with the General Manager and told them I was coming by and to take care of me. He did all this without getting any payment from me. This auto body shop lives customer service. I have since bought a replacement convertible. QUIN IS MAGIC!!! After owning my new car for 8 days, someone dented my passenger door at a Costco parking lot. Ugh. And of course, as you may suspect, they didn't bother leaving a note indicating the damage they had done. The dent was larger than a quarter size and it was on a seam and the paint was removed! My heart sank the moment I saw it! I was wondering what it would cost to get it fixed. I thought about calling the dealership and just felt sick thinking about it. HIGHLY recommend this place and Quinn!! Less than a month after buying a brand new A4 (first car I'd had since my high school Honda Civic!), someone decided to slam their door into mine in my office parking garage and not even bother leaving a note. I decided to call a paintless dent company who came out and looked at the dent, but they told me because this damage had been caused to the crease on the door, there was nothing they could do. I lived with the damage to my brand new car for the next almost two years, hoping to save enough money to take it to a body shop. In the mean time, my mom happened to find Quinn and she had the most incredible experience with him. She said he did an amazing job on her Audi but because he wasn't satisfied with his work, he didn't charge her anything! I hoped that maybe Quinn could work his magic on my difficult dent and decided to give him a call. He came out that same afternoon and we scheduled a time for me to drop my car off to his shop. Quinn was very honest and up front with me, quoting me $200 and telling me this was going to be a very difficult dent to get out and I would need to leave my car at his shop for a few hours. He did give me his word, though, that if I wasn't satisfied with his work, I didn't have to pay. That DEFINITELY wasn't an issue. He did an incredible job!!!! I showed up that evening (which, by the way, Quinn was extremely flexible with my work schedule and allowed us to show up to drop off/pick up the car at whatever time was convenient for us), and could not even tell that my car had ever been dented! It looked like a brand new Audi again! Best $200 spent in a long time, and it couldn't have gone to a nicer guy. Quinn is so genuine and you can tell that he truly takes pride in his work.
