Updating my review 11 years later! I had ordered a Range Rover Sport from Las Vegas. I was looking at Lexani's online, but somehow I got coaxed into looking at Vossen's. I ended up putting the money into Vossen's, and Jon took care of ordering the rims and including a tire package. Dropped off my car, took a short walk to the end of the parking lot, had lunch, and poof... my car was done. Looks fabulous, of course. I've always been into modifying my vehicles from when I was in high school and I'm not going to stop now. Besides adding a clean sound system, top notch vehicle alarm and tint which is the basics to any ride, adding a nice set of custom rims and tires are the next step. Auto Customs carries all the top name brand rims such as SSR, Work Wheels, and VOSS are just a few of the names they carry. Looking at rims in a catalog or even in pictures doesn't do it justice at times. They actually have physical rims in their showroom to take a look at which is very nice. Proper fit is really crucial when picking out custom rims, and tires. The worst thing you could do is buy rims and tires and they hit your fenders. The professionals at Auto Customs will help you look at three vital areas in helping you get that proper size. The overall diameter so the rim is clear of the brakes, suspension parts, as well as your fenders like I mentioned. Next they check to make sure you will have proper clearance so figuring out the offset and backspace is critical. Last but not least, the proper mounting. They sell these custom pieces that reduces the chance of an imbalance that may result in a vibration in the steering wheel or seat while driving. This is also known as the hub-centric fitment. Gang...these guys are AMAZING! The customer service I received when I ordered a while ago was absolutely perfect. Brandon was a champ! For some reason, I kept having a drop in tire pressure on one rim, and kept taking it back to the tire shop. Their "fix" was to keep putting bead sealer on it, and it would hold for a while, and then leak again. 4 times I had to take off the rim and take it back to the tire shop. I was worried that that one rim may have potentially have been bent, and thought worst case scenario I might have to buy a replacement rim. Jeff @ Auto Customs was on it! He went out of his way to contact the manufacturer and the rep to get a quote for that one rim. Unfortunately, at that time it looked like the manufacturer discontinued that rim, and I was even more bummed thinking that if my rim was bent, I couldn't find a replacement. He did his magic, and was able to find ONE rim a couple days later. Meanwhile, with Jeff's advice, I relayed what he said to the tire shop & yesterday they finally admitted they had ripped the inner bead of the tire during the very first mounting. The shop wrote it off as a technician error and swapped it out for a brand new replacement, no charge. Definitely a brand new tire with the info sticker and color spots still on it. After a year of stressing out on not knowing if I'd wake up with another flat, all is well! Jeff's advice definitely made a difference, as I was able to approach the tire shop with some good ammunition! From day one with Brandon (I had a million questions as a rookie rim buyer), he kindly took his time and helped me out. Jeff even helped me out a couple times back then too. Then now with Jeff going the extra mile! These guys are the rare business that truly gives a F about their customers. I highly, HIGHLY recommend Auto Customs! Disclaimer: Due to Covid-19, a lot of businesses are doing their best to keep afloat while still delivering excellence service. Please take this into consideration with every business you deal with. After a frustrating month of May trying to get my safety check done for my truck, my wifey and I decided to A) either trade my truck in for a more family-friendly, safer vehicle, or B) change the rims (which were 24s) of my truck so that I did not have to worry anymore of not finding a safety check place to pass my truck. We went with option B and during my search for the right shop, it was recommended to me by a mechanic (shout out NT Automotive) to check out Auto Customs. When I went to the shop I was greeted warmly almost immediately. I always appreciate when I am acknowledged as soon as I enter a place of business. I met Jeff and right away he was more than happy to sit down with me and show me some new wheel options. Initially, I wanted a colored rim to match my truck, but when it was discovered that the company no longer made the particular style, I opted for a black-and-chrome finished rim. Jeff helped me out the whole way and even took the liberty of finding rims that would not only look good, but run smoothly without rubbing against the frame (an issue I found annoying with having 24s). He also hooked me up with some really great Toyo tires that had a bit more "meat" or rubber on them than the rubberband ones I had on my 24inch rims. I had a positive experience my first time at the shop. Shipping from the mainland took a while, but that was due to a pair of rims having to come from Florida while the other two were already in Cali. When the rims came in, I was fortunate enough to get an appointment the next day (but DO expect to have a wait because of Covid-19 and the amount of customers Auto Customs deals with daily). They installed the wheels and when they were finished I absolutely loved the new "shoes" on my truck. Auto Customs, thankfully, has a waiting lounge where you can hang out and watch tv while your vehicle gets serviced. Please practice social distancing when waiting in the waiting lounge. Overall, I thought that the service I got from Jeff, Brandon and the rest of the Auto Customs crew was top-notch. They are helpful, patient, and knowledgeable. They are decent as far as pricing is concerned, and I never felt like I was being sold on something. I always felt like I was in control of what I wanted for my truck's rims. I recommend these guys for anyone looking to enhance the look of their wheels. They do other stuff like lifts and off-road but I believe their specialty is custom rims. I have a 2014 Dodge Charger R/T, it's the Black Top Edition. With that, it came with Black powder coated wheels! The biggest problem I've had in owning this vehicle is curb damage! Yeah I could've gotten the wheels re-worked refurbished but that cost of nearly $700. to refurbish all 4 wheels wasn't an option for me! I went on CAR ID to look for wheels and found a set I liked! I went to Auto Customs to see what their price was and if they could bring the wheels in and wallah, not even a whole week! Cheaper than what Car ID priced them for including shipping & installation! Cool friendly service & even let me pick up my wheels they took off later! The best thing about it was, they asked me if I wanted them to box up the old wheels and put them in my car. I adamantly refused and then I was asked if I had a friend that I could gift them to and sure enough, I knew somebody who wanted them despite the condition they were in. They said they'll box up the old wheels and set them aside so I could pick them up later! You don't see this kind of Customer Service much these days and I'm very appreciative! Located in the same driveway as "Megs Drive In" on Waiakamilo Road -- Trust me, I know because I drove down the street 3 times before finding this place. It's hidden deep into that corner after entering the driveway. I ordered an Eibach Pro-Kit suspension set from TireRack last month due to my old front strut leaking and rear spring rusting. Fortunately, I was able to install the rear struts and springs by myself. Then when it came to doing the front, I had an unfortunate minor injury that discouraged me from continuing. Hence, I turned to Yelp! I asked a few friends and family, and all signs pointed to Auto Customs. I called on Friday to get a quote for the front suspension install. Called again on Monday to make an appointment. Wednesday I was in and out in an hour. Jeff was the main liaison. Though, I DID get a chance to meet the mechanic as well since there was a little issue with my car while doing the suspension installation (cushion on the top hat was missing). Both of the guys were really humble and explained in detail what the issue was. Not a huge problem, gave the okay to just finish it up, and here I am! Happy customer. There is no change in height of my car (as expected), but I can most definitely feel the difference and I could not be more satisfied. I would recommend this place to all people looking for a cool wheel and tire package. Even if you want your tires stretched. They have hybrid and full airbag suspension systems, it seems. Coilovers, springs, and struts are all available too. There is just a huge range of things that they have. I was really impressed. Honestly, I would give 6 stars if I could.
