O Reilly has always been my favorite parts store however a new worker tampered with all of my fuses without my permission and after he was done, my car ran very poorly. I told him that my car was running fine when I drove up but after he tampered with it, it has a lot of hesitation. He insulted me by saying that I'm driving with the parking brakes on and proceeded to "teach" me how to release the brake. He walked back into the store and when I walked into the store, he was nowhere in sight. I went there to buy a battery and I left with a car in worst condition then when I came and a worker talking to me like I was stupid. I've been driving for over 50 years and this guy thinks that he has to teach me that parking brake has to be released before driving. read more

We were still on the hunt for a battery for our Highlander. It was a little cheaper here, but we still knew a place that we could get it at a better price. We walked in and were greeted by the workers behind the counter. There was a little line before we were helped. They were very nice. I looked around the store and they sell whatever you need for your car. Second time here for a battery for my car. Sales associate did a power inspection and deduced my battery was low. Luckily, it was purchased from them and is still under warranty. My manager is performing the swap right here. The associates are really nice and helpful. The store is very clean. The atmosphere here is very welcoming. I don't feel overwhelmed or anxious. Quite busy in the parking lot, but quick transactions so stalls open up fast. No one waiting around for a stall to open up. read more

I truly can rely on this store for car stuff. Even when I lived in San Diego, I would go here with hubby. My car was low on oil so hubby bought the synthetic kind. I guess it runs better for your car. Plenty of stuff available inside. There was a sign saying they do free testing and other random stuff. Hubby knows a lot about cars so this store was nearby his job. I didn't go inside but waited for hubby in the car. Once hubby got what I needed for my car, he added some oil inside. Asked to have my Battery tested (which they offer) & was told someone going come out. I was the only one in the store. I guess no other worker wanted the task so this same person came out & not sure if he even hooked up the tester & said , yup, dead the Battery. Go in & they asking $200+ for a Kia Hatchback that Napa when i called from inside the store was like $134. It's a good thing a friend reminded me of Battery Bills. Went there and the guy Joshua was like what the problem? Told him and he said braddah the Battery Good (2021 date on battery) , tested the alternator also. All Good & he said no worries if you need one in the future, just come back. Price if I was to get one. $89 & $10 to install. read more

This review will be short since we didn't need much. We came for wipers for a 2009 Civic. Like most people, we searched on the computer for wipers compatible for our car. A worker asked us if we needed any help, but we declined since we thought we had figured it out. We noticed in the aisle that the only wipers they had were $30-$40 EACH. It was surprising. Then another worker, I think his name was Ryan, came to us in the aisle asking if we needed help. This time, we asked him if there were any other wiper options for our car since the ones in the aisle were pricey. Ryan gladly checked their inventory on the computer and he mentioned to use that the slightly cheaper options are in the back. Luckily, he found some for our car! We asked him if he would be able to install them on the car for us and he said yes. After purchasing the wipers, Ryan gladly installed it on our car. He even mentioned to us that the wipers on the car were 2 completely different pieces. Thanks to Ryan, we were able to get our new wipers on before it started to sprinkle later in the week. Just went in for a car battery and this young Portuguese little kid working there was a wise ass! I asked if the battery there was the best they had and he says it's on the top shelf. Not listening clearly, he doesn't answer my question correctly because this head is up his you know what. I then as of it's hard to change the battery terminal cables, and again without listening clearly, because he seems like a k own it all, he says "no it's easy change a car battery" and snickers like an idiot! I repeat my simple question and he realizes that he didn't listen in the first place, and says yes it's hard to change the battery cables. When I change oil to my car, I normally buy my oil from Walmart or Don Quijote.......but once in a while, when I need something else other than oil, I like to come to O'Reilly auto parts, as they have a lot of things for your automobile needs. My pops told me his car's a/c was not blowing as cold as it use to, so I checked the on-line ad of O'Reilly's and just so happens they had a sale on a/c refrigerant. Went down to the O'Reilly's in Kalihi today & picked up a can of refrigerant to recharge my pops car. The store was quite busy this afternoon, but O'Reilly's had a lot of clerks to serve your needs. I picked up what I needed, and a friendly clerk rang me up...........I was in & out in no time. The store is just next door to CPB & Popeye's Fried Chicken, there is a lot of free parking here. She saw a long line of customers and proceeded to move even quicker. She even "multi-task" by helping one customer with their automotive needs while ringing up another customer on another terminal. I live closer to the Cinerama location and those guys are alright, friendly too. But this is the first time I felt like leaving a review for the Dillingham store. If I could I wouldnt even give this place any stars!!! I went in to buy a propane can of big chill for my ac and being that I see people asking some of the workers for help with there cars outside I asked for assistance with mines as well to use the propane. So worker opens the hood of my car and connects a hose with gauge into what I think is for the AC. She starts shaking the can, pressing on a lever, looking at the arrow on the gauge and im on the side waiting for her to finish. When she finishes, removes attachments and I'm thinking everything is good and I'll drive away with my ac blowing cooler. Nope!!! As I'm driving out of the parking lot and maybe a minute later i start noticing my ac is blowing hot air. I'm thinking to myself is this normal? I dnt think so!? Isn't it suppose to make my ac blow cooler not hotter? I finally get home, park and figured maybe I need to turn of the car and let it sit for a couple minutes. I turned on the car again and it was still blowing hot air. So I call O'Reilly back and explained what is happening. The person on the phone asked me a couple questions and later had the audacity to blame me for using the ac product when my ac was already working. I'm like my ac is fine but it's not blowing as cold that's why I bought the product. My ac is not broken and why would I even go to O'Reilly if it was. They really need to get their policy and everyone In check at that location because I spent half my day trying to figure out how to get it fixed and they were USELESS!! The manager on duty WAS NOT even useful!! At the end my mechanic said that they over filled it and I had to spend more money to just to have him check it out. read more

I've been to many of the auto stores in this area and found O'Reilly's the best. O'Reilly's is so big, clean and the guys come out and help you find exactly what you need. And they never make me feel dumb because I don't know what gasket material looks like. This may be a bit farther than the other store nearby but the staff makes such a big difference that it is worth the extra drive. I highly recommend O' Reilly's and I'm sure I'll be back! read more

My friend's car had windshield wiper that was way overdue for a replacement. The wiper blade was starting to fall off when I washed his car. I tried removing the blade but it would not come off. I went on YouTube for tips and no solution worked. I did not want to damage his wiper arm so I recommended O'Reilly Auto Parts as they will install the wiper blades that they sell you. Lori offered to install the blades and had some difficulty removing the blade also so she went back in and came out with a tool to break the blade frame off. In a few minutes the blades were in place and my friend had brand new wipers and the peace of mind knowing that should he have to drive through heavy rain he will be well equipped. Lori was friendly and quickly got us going. We came in on a Sunday and the lot was almost full of cars. But it is good to know that they open until 9 pm on Sundays. On weekdays they are open open until 10 pm. It's good to know that they're there for you should you need assistance even late at night. On a side note, they apparently have a rewards program so should you plan on multiple visits for a project, you might want to sign up for that. read more
