Oil be honest... I'm not totally knowledgeable regarding my car do I have learned a lot along the way seeing my dash flash low oil sign always gives me some concern, but knowing my car was due. I do have an appointment in a few days, but didn't want to risk it. . With that, I was already in Kalihi and did a yelp search only to find just down the street from where I am located on Hart Street, which is right behind Watanabe Floral is where you can find NAPA Auto among us this whole industrial warehouse setting. They do have lots of free parking, which is nice and easy walking in. It's a small shop Though no one had really greeted me. I'm OK as I know what I was looking for just grabbing a quart of oil as soon as I found it, I got quickly rung up With a friendly staff which easily got me on my way. Just a note if you join their Napa rewards it's completely free and earned you five dollars once you obtain 100 points. It will probably take me forever to get that but this isn't my first trip to a Napa store so it doesn't hurt does it well it keeps my right happy which makes me happy. The front entrance is on Hart St. and there are parking spaces in front of the store. Don't be idiots like us who tried to enter on the back side. Duh! It's their warehouse and the nice lady had to redirect us. The hubby and I came here because we needed a new battery for our Highlander. The lady working in the store was really nice. She greeted us and asked us what we needed. We gave her the year and make of the car and she looked up what battery we needed. They charged a lot more than the other store, so we didn't get it from here. It was a nice experience. If I ever need anything else for the car I'll be sure to stop by. read more

I drove on Hart street hundreds of time and never know there is a NAPA Auto parts until I cannot find an item at another auto part store and they recommended me to go there. Brought some items from them several times, during one visit, they don't have the part that I was looking for, instead of just tell me they don't have it, the sales is nice enough to refer me to another company to look for the part that Napa do not carry. I end up finding what I need. Pretty good customers services. The only thing I am a bit confuse is the parkings in front of the store are all marked "reserved", so I am not sure if I am not suppose to park there. read more

This location is best known for top quality customer service! Purchased my parts from their Airport store but gave me the wrong parts so I had to drive back but unknowingly aware they are closing early Sunday (normally closes at 5pm). Googled other location open, called and a nice guy answered the phone and directed me to their location and waited for me coz their closing at 430pm. He then made sure I get the right parts this time so he asked for my vehicle license plate number (they have a system to determine vehicle type using your license plates, cool ) I'm very happy on how they helped me! This Napa does not have a good selection of materials and the service desk doesn't know what they even have. We've gone to this Napa for so many items we needed and I think we struck out 8 out of 10 times. Once my husband asked for an item at the service desk and the guy said, "I don't know" as he poured through his book and computer. My husband was just walking around and found the item on the shelf. Duh. Sounds like others have had good luck but we just have had horrible luck at this Napa. We love Napa overall but this one just doesn't do it. Sorry, Napa. read more

I didn't spend too much time at this NAPA but always was looking for this place. I had a oil change at Lex Brodies-Kalihi and since it was 1/2 a block Diamond Head, I used the time to walk there and check it out I always trust NAPA parts, and since this is the warehouse I figured I could get some replacement wiper inserts. They didn't have the inserts for my car but they had the wiper replacement. Since I like the original hardware, I decided to not get the replacement wipers but picked up a car wash soap. To my surprise, my battery purchase a few weeks back gave me a credit so the soap was like a dollar something. (right-on). Clean, organized, good service, PARKING right in front, and on the way home from work. Don't know if there is anything more I need!!! read more

Don't know about the place or other people but the girl at the counter helped me out a lot. My jeep broke down and could barely make it over the mountain to work after talking to her about maybe getting some parts she suggested her guy friend could take a look at it he was a mechanic down the street. Everyplace else I called that day could not look at my vehicle for three days it was about 5 o'clock at night and I got it to him by 6 o'clock he did a full routine inspection on the engine and everything found out it was my fuel pressure I was able to get the parts and have it running in the next day properly. read more

After three days of searching high and low for a place that carried my car battery (I drive a '07 Nissan Versa), I finally found it at Napa! I called in and Landry (hopefully I spelled that correctly) was able to confirm that they had my car's battery in stock. I came by after work and was helped by Roy who gathered my new battery and air filter. Landry helped me install my new battery and air filter and I was good to go! The price of the battery was the best price I had been quoted, and I called EVERYWHERE on the island. My air filter was also very affordable! All I needed to buy was a small tube of Bondo hardener. I grabbed the tube and went to the counter. Three guys at the counter. One was a driver with receipts, a counterperson, and a supervisor. I stood there for 10minutes while all three were trying to sort the driver's receipts! No one else was in the store!!! C'mon guys, just ring me up!!! So I finally interrupted them and asked to pay....Andrew the counterperson, finally acknowledge me and rang the sale. I spent 20 minutes in the store for a tube of hardener!!! If you need your parts quick, go to O'reilly Auto Parts. At O'reilly's they have a designated check out line and are quick to help. i couldn't find a starter no where on the island....told by a friend to call napa kalihi. 6:40pm I called and Landry the counter sales man answered and with no hope left. I gave my year make and model and was told have to special order it with freight. I was just about to give up and Landry talked me threw it and asked me to look around on my starter to see if I see numbers so he could cross it. I found it and he did and sure enough it was for a car a year older and that's why I couldn't find it. when I walked in right when the manager was just about to lock up and Landry asked if I could come in.
