I do not recommend getting your car detailed at this establishment. I dropped my car off at 8am for a full detail and was told it would be ready around 4pm and cost $200. A little long and a little expensive I thought, but I believe it's better to be cheated in price than quality and they had good reviews so I figured I'd chance it. Also, just to add, I had washed and vacuumed the car the weekend before so it really wasn't that dirty, just some dog hair and other details that I didn't want to have to deal with myself. When my car was ready I came to pick it up and was not happy at all. As i started looking at the car I could spot multiple places that were missed as well as some places that were actually DIRTIER than when I dropped it off... One of the detailers noticed me checking the fuel tank cover interior which was still filthy and told me, "See the scratches in the dirt, we tried to clean it but couldn't get it all off." Low and behold, the owner also noticed and it took him all of one minute to fully clean it off. They also missed the lower door jams, both cup holders still had sticky residue still in them, and there was a large black spot I'm assuming from car oil from the shop on the left side of the driver's seat, in addition to other discrepancies. All in all, I feel like they spent about 1 hour on my car even though it was there for about 7. When I tried to talk to Ron about the lack of attention to detail (ironic when talking about a car detail...) he definitely left something to desire in the customer service department. After giving me many excused including that he "doesn't usually do that much work to other cars", Ron asked me what I do for a living as if I didn't know what I was talking about...why he asked that I'm not sure but it's definitely not a professional move. So after my fiasco with my car on the missing rubber mats fiasco with Mercedes Benz of Portland (see that review) my GF saw what a nice detail can make a car look like. But rather than spending $255 on a full complete detail she went looking around for a detail shop. She drove by this place on the way to work and decided to call Ron for a interior cleaning of her messy interior. I dropped off the car with Ron the night before her scheduled appointment and he looked at the car and said that the car was in pretty good condition and recommended that a hand wash and wax might be a good idea for an extra $25. The GF agreed and had that option added to her bill. We came back the following night to pick up the car. Because we were busy with other activities we asked Ron if he could leave the car outside and we would pick it up. He agreed to it. We got to the car and inspected the work. The car was very clean, the interior was like brand new. Apparently a few years ago there was a stain on the seat that my GF thought would never go away but they shampooed and cleaned the seats and the carpets. The interior was very clean. While the outside was clean there are some impurities that were on the car. Of course this was just a hand wash and wax so I wonder what it would the car feel like had she paid higher for a full exterior that likely include a clay bar or something. THE BEST. I have had my cars detailed at several different places over the years but Ron's place is the best. My car looks absolutely brand new every time and I sometimes just can't believe it!! I have pets.. I have kids...and when I get my car back, there is no trace! He has rescued my car from smelly spills and always makes sure I am happy with it. Would not recommend this place to anyone. I have brought multiple cars here in the Past and was usually pleased by the great job they did. I lost my job because of this places' slander and lies. A few days ago I had to drop my bosses vehicle off here. I arrived at 7:30. It says on Google and their window that they open at 8'oclock, there's also a paper clock on the door saying "will return at 8." I first called their Google number at 8:06, left a review that they were late at 8:12, I called again at 8:15, and finally got ahold of them the 3rd time at 8:16. Heard at lot of grumbling and heard the words "motherf*cker" and "c*unt". Then called the number on their building at 8:21. I spoke to a man who said the owner was on their way and would be there in a few. I removed the review, because I understand these things happen. Around 8:30 a woman showed up and I gave her the keys and left. Well, I just spoke to my boss and she said that they wouldn't have any work for me if I didn't remove the review, because the people at this detail shop called them and told them that they were they're and open at 8 and that I was lying. I stood up for myself and explained that not only did I have proof of the times I called, but I also texted both number. Well, now I'm looking for a new job. read more

Even 1 star is being too generous! Stopped in to inquire about having 3 cars detailed (350z,civic and a blazer). Asked the price & was told $160 for the 350Z because it was black. Said they do 3 coats of wax (fyi: they don't really). Asked if I brought in 2 more vehicles what kind of deal could they give me? Was told they could give me deal on the 3rd vehicle. Asked multiple times how much of a deal and never got an answer. As I was there, I figured fine I'd leave my 350z & said it would take 3-4 hrs (that was lie #1). The employee dropped me back off at my hope, which was nice, but amongst the car ride home I again asked what the cost/discount would be on the 3rd car? The employee said that they had someone ask this before & that they give that customer a discount on the first car and they never came back with the other car, so that is why they only discount on the last car the person brings in. HELLO, THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN A FLAG TO RUN. Obviously they did something for that prior customer to never come back. All in all, 7 1//2 hrs later I picked up my car. It was getting dark so I couldn't go over it as I wished I could. However I could tell immediately they didn't even clean my chrome grill. I pointed it out to the employee and he goes of and whipped it off like no biggie. Really? That's what $160 gets me "a spit shine???" . Reluctantly I was there now with my blazer, the kid said it would be $190 to do. OMG! that's not even doing the engine either. Because I was trying to sell it i said fine and left the blazer for them to do first thing the next day. So now it's day #2, woke up and looked at my 350z. Although it shined, the interior was still dirty. All they did is vacumed, which they sucked up the 350z emblem off the back carpet, which they deny & then wipped it down inside. I have taken this car to Wash Man & for $49 had better results! Oh, plus I now have a crack in my hood from them slamming it closed that was not there before. Let's get to car #2. I went back to the place to check on things & expressed my disappointment on car #1. They kid was in complete denial. Owner came out & I told him as well. I asked him doesn't he check his employees work? Never offering an apology. Told him that because of this, he has now lost my business for car #3 & will NEVER be back. Asked him when would my blazer be done because it was 1 & they hadn't even started it? He said they washed the outside yet the 'for sale' writing was on the windows? Does that make any sense?He said by 3:30. Wow a full detail in 2 1/2 hrs which included supposably 3 coats of wax? Said fine and left. 3 oclock came & parked in his lot& watched the employees. Their last 1/2 hour consisted of washing my windows & the fastest wipe down I've ever seen. The owner called me at 3:30 which I was in the parking lot & said the blazer was done. AH NO IT WASN'T. He proceeded to tell me the whole interior was still wet & that he'd like to keep it over night. I explained to him that he specifically said the car would be done at 3:30 & I scheduled someone to take it for a test drive at that time. I got into the Blazer & found that the drivers side down panel was pulled completely loose & one of the vent fan luevers was broken. Are flipping kidding me!?! So I looked around & noticed that there was still dirt on things like where the cup holders are. they never even pulled the insert out & cleaned it. I went to the owner & complained. AGAIN complete denial & said there's no way they could have broke things because "they only use rags". If that's the case they they don't even use cleansers!! I was so angry & now late for meeting someone to look at the car. Oh now here's the kicker. The guy who test drove my car, had gotten the # off the back window of the blazer when it was at the detail shops lot. He said he went in the chain linked lot to look at it. He said my keys to the blazer was stuck in the door. That he was on the lot for a good amount of time & no employee approached him. He said he could have stolen my blazer & no one would have known. (which I recall when I walked in several new vehicles right in the open had keys in the doors) That he had to go find an employee, which he went on to say that all three acted like they did't want to even be there. Total worthless employees! The guy took the blazer for a test drive with his son & came back & said "this car was not detailed. A vaccum & slight wiping is not a detail. They missed so much". He asked me how much I paid & he gasped! He said that he had thought about bringing his van in there but after seeing their work he was not going to. Then he went on to say that he was extremely disappointed how they treated me & exposed their customers to theft that he was going to go in & talk to the owner. What a nice guy. So $350 in detail work (if thats what you can call it) & another $300 for damage repairs. The owner is a total JERK and should have made it right! He should have refunded me! read more

I am writing another review on behalf of my mother Kathy. After I got a beautiful detail job from Ron, she wanted to detail her Ford Escape because it was so dirty on the inside! Well Ron has done it again! We dropped off my moms car yesterday and got it back about 6 hours later and it was gorgeous and shiny... Inside and out. She mainly did the detail for the inside because her granddaughter would spill bottles, food, and wipe her dirty feet on the seats and floors. Every stain that was inside had vanished! Whoever has been here and has had a bad experience for what ever reason I'm telling you you should really give these guys another chance. I was so nervous about taking my truck into get it detailed as I had heard several nightmares. I checked out reviews and liked the ones on this company. There is one, not so good, but I know that not all people can be happy. Well, I am! My truck had never been cleaned ( we have dogs so It was pretty dirty) inside and the outside was pretty dinged & scratched. Called to make an appointment and everything was explained very well. When we went to pickup - OMG!!! I could not believe it was the same vehicle. Carpet was beautiful, stains on seats were gone, dash and door panels looked like new! The exterior was waxed and polished. It has not looked this good since we bought it. The owner and the staff were polite and wonderful to work with. It was ready when they said. I felt so good driving off in a clean and good looking truck! For as bad as my truck was, the cost was really reasonable. I would have never said I would take my truck in again but these guys changed my mind. I will definitely take my truck back here yearly to have it detailed. I took my car in on a very wet, windy, cold day. I picked it up in the evening and was astonished at how nice it looked. In addition, they had several fans on it and were clearly trying very hard to dry it as much as possible before I picked it up on a day that made that very difficult. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs their car detailed. read more

I went into Pro Detail today to talk to the owner about a Fundraiser. He was extremely rude and very unprofessional! He told me that he was very stressed out, had many projects going and did not have the time to listen to me! He then told me that he did not appreciate people like me coming through his door! He did not even let me speak! He had no problem 2 years ago when I walked through his door to get my car detailed though! He is extremly rude, mean and very unprofessional! There are way to many car detail shops out there to give such a awful man any business! Please consider this before stepping one foot on his property! They cleaned my nasty car for a great price and even told me to come back in if they missed something, price was less than what they show on their price sheet( so I know they have me a deal) I would recommend pro auto to anyone! And I have already recommended them toy family and friends. Also they shampooed my vehicle and put it on a drying machine after, let's just say no one would ever have thunk that my car used to be a nasty smelly dog lounge, it literally smelt like wet dog all the time and I could not get rid of the smell no matter what I did! I showed up without an apt on a Saturday and Ron was closed however there was a man there apparently there is a shop next door anyway he was very rude when I parked in front of the shop which by the way I assumed was all a detail shop and was told by him not to park there after that I got a card and called Ron and set up a time to bring in my car WOW what great people they are very customer oriented and wanted me to be assured he would take great care with my car and he was right 100% beautiful I would totally recommend RON I hope they get a better neighbor someday..... read more

When I arrived this AM to drop off my truck I was confronted by the owner, Paul, who abruptly told me that if I wanted to pay the previously communicated price it would be cash. If I wanted to use credit ( wanted to use my mileage card ) it would be an extra $10 beyond that. I asked him why he did not mention this before, and he became very defensive and loud and said "I am telling you now!!" Then he began to talk down to me, asking if I knew the difference between cash and a credit card. After a short but heated verbal exchange he told me to take my truck. I gladly did. There was no way I was going to patronize his business after that... Not good business practice to start an argument over a $10, visa fee ( Visa would have charged them a $4 surcharge at most, BTW). There are plenty of other detail shops around Portland that would be happy to have your business. Beware if you choose to use this guy. read more

Brought in a brand new 2012 car to having a professional detail job done since the car was on the sales lot for awhile. Dropped off at 8 am was told it would be 3.5 - 4 hours. I called a 2 pm and was then told it wouldd be an additional 1.5 - 2 hours. I then received a call at 4:45 pm asking if I forgot about my car. I stated I was never called and told my car was done and was then told my the manager that they had lost my info and had to go through my personal items in my car to try and find a phone number for me (VERY unprofessional). I told the manager that I run a business and had to close it down at 5 and he proceeded to tell me they close at 5 also. I stated that this is not my problem since I had dropped my car off at 8 am and was told it d be a 4 hour job max. This call came almost 9 hours after I dropped my car off. I was then asked to pay over the phone and I refused since I had not even since the finished product. Needless to say I showed up around 5:15 after closing my business and the car was not even finished. There was still a big spot of wax on the body, wheels had not been touched as they were still caked with brake dust and had the factory stickers / sticker residue still on them. Finger prints still on the sun roof from when I had bought the car a week previous. Water spots all over the chrome on my car... The list goes on. I was ticked at this point and told the manager that this is BS and I want to speak with the owner. He stated that I could bring the car back then next day for them to finish it and that made me even more livid as I don t have time to just drop my car off for a day at a time for somebody to NOT do their job. I was then still charged $150.00 for an incomplete job on a car that had little to no dirt on the interior with the exception of the finger prints which were still on my windows. The next morning I received a call from the owner and instead of trying to make thing right the first thing I was told was that he did not appreciate me yelling at his manager. I went through the entire story above and the owner then stated that it was him that I talked to when I called at 2 pm (6 hours after I dropped my car off for a 3.5 - 4 hour job) and he proceeded to state that he told me the car would be done by 3 when in fact I was told another 1.5 - 2 hours. Instead of being professional and offering a partial or even full refund for an incomplete job he told me told bring the car back so I can point out the items they missed. I told him I don t have time for that and that they are the pros and I should not have to point out what they missed. HORRIBLE customer service... complete rip off. Will never use this company again. read more
