***** Five Stars to Burnside Collision, which I highly recommend if your car needs body work. My 12 year-old car had an unfortunate scrape with a concrete parking block which it lost resulting in the shredding of my fender liner, breaking of connectors that held the bumper to the left front side panel, and the dislodging/breakage of one fog light and one headlight washer. The first two places I took the car to wanted well over $2,000 to repair the damage largely because of the cost of replacing the fog light (which I've never used) and the headlight washer which I didn't care about (I didn't even know I had one and can wash the headlight by hand). Burnside Collision understood that I didn't want to spend one-quarter to one-third of the value of my car to repair relatively minor damage (the car still ran fine). They installed a new fender liner, reattached the fender to the side panel, put the dislodged fog light and headlight washer back in place (albeit non-functional) for less than $400. They even gave me a free car wash that was the equivalent of detailing the outside. And the work was done in one day once the part came in. They understood what I needed and wanted and charged me a reasonable price for the work. I highly recommend them to you. read more

Sexism, aggression, and mistreatment at its highest The quality of the work I got at Burnside Collision was fine The service I got wasn't. George, the office manager, was a real peace of work. There were some small errors in the work, and a couple of billing errors made by insurance. George and I had several phone calls about the issues we were both trying to resolve. On many, he was out of control yelling at me, threatening to seize my car (before the work was or insurance cars were corrected), and hanging up in anger. He would apologize every time I saw him in person. I figured he was just a jerk. Turns out, he was a jerk to me (a woman). Whenever he talked to my dad, who was helping me with the situation, he was friendly and professional. He tried to justify to my dad that, yes, he was aggressive and yelled at me, but I had been "talking down to him." I wasn't talking down to him. I was talking to him like I was an equal human being. And, as it turned out, I was correct about how to fix the insurance situation that he said couldn't be fix. Mark, the owner, and all of his technicians are fine, and I recommend their services. The trouble is, if you go there to get your car fixed, your interaction will be with George. His behavior was unconscionable. As such, I, cannot in any way recommend using Burnside Collision for any services, and strongly recommend that the shop owner examines and addresses the way his office manager conducts business. read more

As a recent CA transplant, George Jackson & Burnside Collision have earned my business for any auto body need. I was incredibly embarrassed to have knocked my drivers side mirror off and when calling around for quotes was told $350-$600 dollars (as well as a 2+ week long back order) to replace it. I had an accident in a Turo rental (I initially declined the Turo insurance) and I ended up having to pay for the repairs out of pocket. (I assure you, I put in a good effort to try and get it covered by my insurance or through the credit card company, but nobody would cover it.) I picked Burnside Collision because of the Yelp reviews (one guy stopped to write a review and didn't even end up using them!), and one of the reviews said that the guys vacuum your car, which was the reason my concussion-framed brain chose these guys. I am SOOOO glad I did. I am a very anxious person, and not knowing what is going on makes the anxiety worse. Marc answered all of my questions over the phone, and even let me come down and see my car in person. I was concerned about safety (I drive kids and dogs a lot), and before I said anything, I got their promise it would be safe. When I went to pick up my car, the guys were super nice (still!)... At a time when auto body shops are so busy, George at Burnside Collision listened to my issue and offered to help. He was so kind and clearly cares about his customers. After a collision, my car was not drivable, and George offered to try to make it drivable until he could get it into the shop to fix it. Once he determined it couldn't be made drivable, he worked with my insurance company. Ultimately the car was totaled by insurance, but had it not been, I would have used Burnside Collision for my repairs. They will be my go to shop should I need any repairs in the future. George always answered his phone and if not, I got a call back within an hour. There are not many shops like Burnside Collision around these days. read more

I elected to use my own money to get my bumper fully repaired with Burnside because I got really good vibes from Jeff (the main admin dude or whatever) when other body shops treated me like an asshole. The first round of paint didn't match the rest of my car and Burnside made a massive effort the second time to make sure it matched. George and his crew were very helpful dealing with the body damage. Communication with George was very easy and he was super helpful in every way. Far and away they had the best reviews.... so I took my nearly new 2019!Ford Ranger in to have repaired after some idiot staged an accident in front of me causing $8000 in damage. This is my baby and only had 1600 miles on it. I had called around to other local shops and they would not even give me any estimate unless I took it there to be fixed... really? Burnside Collision was the third shop I approached for an estimate to repair a large ding I had made in my bumper trying to back out of a tight spot in a garage. I used Burnside Coll. based on all the positive reviews left here on Yelp. Well let me tell, George and his gang deserve the kudos. In less than a day, he was able to "pull out" the ding for a fraction of the cost other shops quoted. What's more, I did not have to go without my car for a week. No, I did not leave with a brand new bumper, but the damage is not noticeable unless you look very closely. And with my 20 year old car, that is fine by me. I had an unfortunate collision damage to my 4-Runner. It was a minor accident but happened to hit at the right spot to cause much costly damage. I shopped around to nearby places with good Yelp reviews and went with Burnside Collision after careful evaluation. They had long tears of successful business with good reviews, and responsible people. Unlike other shops I have been to where people just do a routine look around and quote, Mark of Burnside Collision took his time to open the hood, visually and with his hands checked around to have a better understanding. He is the only one who opened the hood. Furthermore, he carefully noticed the driver side front damage had squeezed a part towards the driver door and started rubbing on a spot of the door frame and caused a small piece of paint loss. He pushed the out of place part back a wee bit so it wouldn't cause further rub on the door. Talk about a caring and careful examiner! I made up my mind at that moment this is the shop I'd take my vehicle to. Mark and Jimmy were helpful throughout the fixing process. Though I'd have to give a fair reminder that they do get really busy and lose sight of follow ups sometimes. It was a bit inconvenient but I figured I would call them on my end to check upon things. And they always were friendly. They are down to earth people, and not the crafty kind that you want to avoid. They took care of my vehicle and it came back to me fast and shiny. I am very pleased with the service result. Oh a funny note, if you ever encounter a very young sounding voice when you call, it might be a young child who happens to pick up the phone and pretend to be the boss while everyone is busy and didn't notice him. Burnside Collision isn't the cheapest, but they offer the greatest value. If you're looking for the cheapest place, go somewhere cheaper and then come to Burnside when the cheap work falls apart! ;-) This is such a great body shop! I first started bringing my vehicles to them when i brought my Mustang in for a door alignment estimate and Marc looked at it... And fixed it in 3 minutes with some basic tools and his hands right in front of me - and then refused to charge me for it! I've brought all my vehicles to his shop since. They do excellent work, are organized, run a good shop, and the staff seem pretty happy, too. They really do "nerd out" about the work they do, too. For instance, when I last talked to Marc, he was talking to me about the experimentation he's doing in the area of environmentally friendlier paint compounds and processes. Burnside collision gave us options when we had none. We found Burnside Collision through Yelp and initiated contact by requesting a quote. The team at Burnside Collision promptly responded and gave us a quote that easily beat the competition. We had what we thought was a bad radiator, but were also aware that if it wasn't the radiator we might end up with a dead car (repairs that would cost more than value of the vehicle). As it turns out, the news was bad for us (bad head gasket which would cost a fortune to repair). The great news is that the good folks over at Burnside Collision provided us with a name of someone who would use our car for parts and in return, pay our Burnside Collision bill thus allowing us to walk away without having to pay a bill for a car that would do us no good.
