Fantastic experience. I had a relatively small dent in a steel section of my car, which old as I am, I thought might be relatively easily fixed. Several estimates later, the term easy was vanishing from my thinking, along with reasonably priced. Taps was kind of my last resort. Fortunately for me, they also brought back relatively easily (removed the dent - no, I don't think it was easy, but they're expert with this approach) and affordably. They also got me in quickly and turned the repair around in about a day. Car looks good again - all over. They're also good people. It's so nice when good people do great things. While other "Dentists" are mechanics, Todd at TAPS truly is an artist. My BMW M340i got bumped in the left rear hindquarter behind the wheel and left a small but sharp dent right across a body line and into a second fender. While I was concerned about the complexity of the dent itself, upon closer inspection with Todd we realized that what I thought were some additional minor scratches that could be buffed out were in fact thin lines cut down to the metal and couldn't be buffed. Also, there were some strange fibers at one part of the dent that crossed the bumper line. Todd explained that the other car had impacted the rear fender that wrapped around the back which was PLASTIC (I didn't know that!) and rubbed the paint clear off. Todd mentioned that unfortunately it would require paint, at which point I mentioned I had the touch-up paint kit for the car. Amazingly he said he would see what he could do. If you've ever used a touch-up paint kit before, you know that trying to fix multiple scratches on metallic paint with that touch-up brush doesn't really end up well. I hadn't expected paint damage and didn't have high hopes for the end result. When I saw the finished job, I was blown away. The dent was perfectly repaired with body lines fully restored, but the paint fix was unreal. The scratches literally had disappeared and the paint perfectly blended. I know what touch-up paint brushed on looks like, so he must have applied the paint somehow and then used some technique to blend it into the existing paint so well there were literally no brush marks. All I can say is that alone saved me 2 whole repainted fenders at a body shop. Others MIGHT have been able to fix the dent as well as Todd, but no one else even mentions fixing a PAINT issue as a side talent - from a touch-up paint kit, no less! Truly an amazing job! read more

Like magic. During the recent ice storm my 2018 MAZDA got what looked like a puncture wound, on the hood; very noticeable to me while driving. First I put in a claim with my insurance. We called Taps after getting estimates for repairs for my wife's KIA Soul after much abuse from our sons, who are thankfully now living outside our home. Amongst the repairs was a dent on the tailgate that one repair shop refused to give an estimate, saying we are not going to appreciate the number. Another was on the door and both estimates we received left it off because they didn't believe it was worth the cost and they also said it could not be fixed by a no paint dent specialist. Todd, was fast in responding and provided a ballpark quote after we sent photos. We agreed on a time later in the week for him to do the repairs at our home. He was a few minutes late but called to inform us. When you read about companies doing paintless dent repairs, it comes to mind that with the right tools, it is an easy job that anybody can do. Not so, after watching Todd perform his magic, it was clear he possessed years of technical knowledge on how to do this work. He wasted no time but also did not rush through the repairs. We were amazed when he completed the work that the dents were imperceptible. In addition to the 2 dents we asked him to repair he fixed a couple others that we didn't notice. I dented the passenger side edge of my Tundra's roof driving through a Kaiser Hospital parking garage even though my truck was a few inches below the recommended maximum height. Kaiser security didnt do anything for me and my insurance didnt want to do anything either unless I paid a deductible even though Kaiser's sign was untrue and misleading. Fast forward to me calling a bunch of PDR shops and me getting same BS from people who claim to be the best PDR people. I was told by a bunch of PDR folks that my headliner would have to be dropped and blah blah blah. I was recommended to Todd by a few buddies and one even told me to stop my search because Todd is the man. My apt was booked a while out but was well worth it. Todd consistently had excellent communication and was even super polite when I had to reschedule a few days before my initial appointment. He just finished my truck and made it look super easy. He did not have to access the inside of my truck and took only a couple hours to do the job. The best part was he came to ME. With a toddler who demands and deserves my full attention, it gave me more peace of mind and one less thing to worry about. I ran my hands through where the dents were on my roof and it was smooth. Being that my 2020 Tundra is my first brand new vehicle, I was very devasted when the dent happened but now I am ecstatic again! Thank you Todd! Glad I took my buddy's advice and understand why he was so adament you are the best because you are.
