I've been going there for years for a few of my gently used old cars. They are the best! All the mechanics there are polite and if you request, tell you exactly what the problems are with your car and an estimated cost before they go ahead and fix it. That is very important if you have a budget so there are no surprises when you get the bill. Every mechanic there does a great job and I have never had any problems at all after having a problem fixed. Each mechanic will go over your bill with you to explain what he did when you pick up your car. Also, they take the time to listen to and to explain all. Not at all like dealerships etc where you 'check out' with the person at the register. I absolutely recommend Auto Doctor and all the mechanics that work there. I had a perfectly good running 2002 Saab 9-3 turbo with a 2.0 liter motor. It needed the serpentine belt which drives the alternator, power steering, A/C compressor, and water pump. The main crankshaft pulley is held on with 6 bolts and they needed to be removed to change the belt. The Auto Doctor mechanic did not properly tighten these 6 bolts. After driving the car for 3 days, one of these loose bolts walked out from the rotation of the pulley. The loose bolt then bent the engine cover and ruined the oil pump that is inside the motor. The entire 2.0 liter motor was ruined and would need to be replaced. When I had the car towed to Auto Doctor, they refused to accept any blame for my ruined engine. They did not refund my money for the serpentine belt work that they had just done. I had to go buy another car because of their incompetence. They deserve -1 star in this review read more

RIP OFF! My elderly neighbor brought his car there today, they charged him for and claimed to have replaced his battery, and all they did was charge it. No date on the receipt, $125 to charge the battery??? Not the first time they have screwed this guy and his wife. And now the battery is showing "weak" on the meter, not half an hour after they "replaced" it??? BEWARE. Do not allow them to do work unless they can PROVE the part is replaced and the work is necessary. Get a second opinion! read more
