My brake light came on I refilled it and the next morning all of it is on the ground near my rear tire. Drum seals gone(?) so I had it towed to a shop that had some great reviews "Aarons on Spring park" instead of sticking with Parts only because they were closer to where I live now. Aarons calls back yes Drums are gone and the cost to repair $700+ brand new brakes, drums etc. Hold up guys let me call you back and i call johnny and tell him what they said to me. he said Rick you do not need to have all that done and the price seems a little steep. Let me give you a rough estimate. $320+ tow after all was said and done tow and all the total was $385.14. So my recommendation take your car somewhere else have them do an estimate then call Johnny. Odds are you will do better here. DO NOT LOOK for warm and fuzzy and be direct with Johnny he is a mechanic, No I mean a real mechanic someone that would work on a car reach over and eat a Krispy Kreme without washing. I honestly do not think you could do better anywhere in town my brother also goes here and has for years. This was not happening for me, so I knew it was the fuel pump. After two hours the two truck came to my rescue in the cold and darkness. I brought the car to my home. Then on Monday, I called John's and asked if they could fix my car. I had several friends recommend them. I am so happy that I went there. They have a new customer for life! Pros: Very fair prices on parts and R&R. Nice and trustworthy Owners and Mechanics. Cons:very limited parking space. I let them know when the tow truck was in the way. I stopped by the shop 2 weeks ago before going out of town to meet them & discuss services. I've got 4 different cars; Nissan Murano, Volvo S40, Honda Accord & a VW Passat & needed routine service on all 4 vehicles. I met Eric who presented as a friendly & knowledgeable as the Service Manager. We scheduled the Volvo & the VW 1st just asking him to do the routine service but to also check over the belts, fluids, brakes, tires, etc. plus we had been having intermittent A/C problems w/ the Volvo. Eric kept the Volvo for 4 days; all routine maintenance was done but they continually tried to duplicate the A/C problem to no avail. They checked all the mechanical parts & all was operating fine. Air blowing cold. Mind you, they could've told me the compressor or the blower needed to be replaced or more coolant added but they didn't! They were honest & said after running the car for hours, driving it, etc it wouldn't present the problem (of course). After driving it for a day, it started blowing hot air again so we took it back in. This time, they began focusing on other causes & found a TSB for '06 Volvos ... interestingly, there's a software update for the Climate Control Unit which regulates a flap that controls the air temp flow! He then directed me to 2 different reputable mechanics that have the equipment to provide the software update to correct the problem. When we picked up the car, he also provided a copy of the Tech Service Bulletin with the related info so we could share it w/ the repair shop! Now that's what I'd call service w/ integrity. These guys have earned my business!!

But I know some people would be turned off. Also, no wifi or coffee in the waiting room in 2017 is not the move. I almost took a star off for this basic infraction, but again, I bring my car here for service not comfort. Ok I'm going to make this review very honest. I took a car I got for my lady to these guys for an…read moreinspection so I knew what to replace the engine bay was making a noise. After I looked and looked I couldn't figure out what it was exactly this shop quoted me nearly $2k for a complete engine replacement. Some of the employees sort of knew what it was but told me they couldn't say anything until the manager/owner gave his opinion. I was also told sourcing the engine was on me which wasn't an issue. My issue just recently surfaced after sitting and trying to figure out what the rattle really was I found out the whole time it was the alternator internally failing and rattling throughout the engine. So for someone who maybe has less money and really needs repairs I advise you do proper research, try a few places because if you're looking for honesty and reliability THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR IT! In times where people are actually doing all they can to make things keep going there is always someone somewhere with a tool and no line ready to fuxk you. Again I have proof of my quote, proof of the before and after I replaced this part that was no where near $2k lol. At least I can say the manager/ owner gave a few dollars off the inspection cost because the real money was yet to come.
