They didn't have the car I wanted but I was able to find a decent car after going to the Fayette st location becasue I was at the Howard st location. Would NEVER recommend this place. I chose this place because it was the cheapest shop to get my windshield fixed. Do yourself a favor and pay a little extra for better service. Here's the story: My windshield needed repair due to a huge crack. Called and made an appointment with person A for a Tuesday. I went there Tuesday and apparently had no appointment. A lady at the front desk (let's call her Person B) said she "guesses" Person A never scheduled the appointment so she offered to reschedule the appointment. When I was rescheduling, she stated "2016 Volkswagen GTI right?" This was an immediate red flag because I never ever told Person B what kind of car I had. I only told person A over the phone. My guess? Part never came in and they failed to inform me. I work for Enterprise Rent-A-Car and I deal with customer problems all day. So knowing how it is from a business perspective, I didn't want to point anything out nor make a scene, so I simply rescheduled without saying anything. They made up for it by offering me a slight discount and promised to work on my car before any car (which they kind of did, but not a big deal). Person B told me that she will PUT IT IN THE NOTES that I would be given a discount. Fast forward to a week later, they had the part for me! And I got the discount! Woo! Thank you notes. While I was waiting in the meeting room, they called me into the garage to show me that the windshield was scratched. They said it may have been from shipment and they didn't realize it right away. Completely understandable. Things happen during shipment. They offered to re-do the job under warranty. Person C (a guy), told me "I'll make sure it's in your notes". Scheduled a new date maybe 2 or 3 weeks later. Fast forward to the new rescheduled date, I drop it off and I had to leave the car at the shop because I had some important errands to run. I got my car back before they closed and Person C asked me "how does it look? Everything good?" I take a quick glance at the windshield and it was alright. I open my car door, GLASS EVERYWHERE. I still didn't make a big deal. Luckily I had a huge vacuum that we used to clean cars at work so I went straight there to clean my car of the glass. While I was cleaning my car, I noticed that trim from my front windshield was missing and I asked myself, "is that why he asked if everything looked good?" Not going to be that guy that assumes. I figured I'd just call them to see what was going on. I call Monday to ask if my trim was there, but no luck. Thankfully..."thankfully", they said they would replace it. They took down my vehicle information again and PUT IT IN THE NOTES. A week goes by, I call, they haven't gotten to it. They took my vehicle information again "I'll put it in the notes". 2 weeks go by, I call. Same thing. The next day, I get a missed call and text asking for my vehicle information because Person D aka Manager was at the dealership trying to get the missing trim. Sadly, I was at work and couldn't respond until an hour after he called. But, he said he'd go back and get it. A few weeks pass by, I call again, Person E, a newly hired worker, told me to contact the district manager cause Person D got demoted. District manager, Clint, was so rude over the phone. He demanded that he needed the car there to know what exactly he needed to buy. Wouldn't even let me send him a picture. I asked him to check the notes and THERE WERE NO NOTES. At this time, I had a new crack on a window. I asked him "could you hook me up for all these conveniences?". He replied "absolutely not, but I can give you a discount"...I guess he didn't know what I meant by "hooking me up" which is understandable, but his attitude was very condescending. I was done after this. This place needs training on customer service. Even their "higher ups" need training. There's even more to this story and I left our many details but I think I've gotten my point across: don't go to this place to get ANYTHING fixed. CHOOSE SAFELITE. SafeLite is GREAT. They informed me when my new window was in! They informed me that they were a little delayed because of traffic! They fixed my other window in less than an hour with NO issues! I even got a discount because I worked for Enterprise and I didn't even have to ask for it! They noticed by business cards in my car and they offered it to me! They came to my house to fix the window! Choose SafeLite. Pay more for the better service! read more

I have to give credit where it is due. These guys do great work, and a better price than anyone else I found. A few years ago my wife needed a new windshield for her car. AGN was at least 40% cheaper than other places. Which honestly made us a little nervous. Everyone else came in around the same price. How could they be cheaper? But we were paying out of pocket so we took our chances. Years later I can tell you that that windshield is still on the car today, leak free. But wait, there's more! My work van needed a new windshield and I told my company's owners. They said to give AGN a shot. Again, much cheaper, and again not a single problem. Now I needed a side window replaced one one car, and a rear window on the same car that got the windshield years ago due to some vandalism. Well my side window is working great, and when they quoted my wife on the rear that quoted her the wrong price, by half. But they still honored their quote. Hard to beat that. Honorable, Quality, and Cheap! P.S. I do recommend making an appointment. They do usually have to go out to pick up the glass. But sometimes it's same or next day. read more

The worst! If I could put down a rating that was lower than a one star, I would. Stay as far away from this horrible company as you can. I was scheduled for an 8am Tuesday morning appointment for them to arrive and replace a windshield and passenger window. Confirmed, had the full rate agreed to from the 800 number, etc. They never showed. I called the Lanham, MD location and was told that the 800 number - Brittany - had no idea what she was doing and should never have confirmed details. Aaron refused to accept any blame and told me to call Shannon, the head of the 800 number team and complain to her. He refused to schedule anything and told me I had to wait for 10 days to 2 weeks for them to try and find replacements and call me back. I asked to speak to the manager and he said he was the manager. I then asked if this was his standard customer service and there was dead silence. I did call the 800 number - 10 times to finally get thru - and spoke to Shannon. She told me she could no longer find my confirmation number - which leads me to believe it was deleted by Aaron - and basically called me a liar. I explained the details and she confirmed that Natalie is the manager of the Lanham store and not Aaron. She confirmed that she was not the head of the 800 number, that Ashley was. So much for all of the tails that Aaron spoke about. Shannon said they could do nothing to help me and basically refused to apologize as well. I have to wonder how they stay in business with such rotten customer service. Run from this company and find real service at another vendor. read more

Auto Glass Now is the worst. I had a scheduled appointment for 3pm last week. I was not seen until after 5p. A certified technician and another gentleman was present. The bearded one comes over to my truck, ask if he could see the window that I purchased from BMW by vin and part number and never once mentioned it being the wrong window or that anything else was wrong for that matter. About 10 minutes later they pulled my vehicle in and the certified technician leaves and says to the manager at the front Tatiana that the other guy was going to be fine he could handle the job. Shortly after there's loud banging and then the guy comes in and ask the manager to come over to him. She comes back and says, I'm sorry unfortunately he doesn't know how to fix the window and she asked whether I could come in the next day. She also stated that her senior technician would be present. When I pulled on the lot my window was in place and my vehicle was secure, I left with a busted-out window, The technician tapped my door closed and I was sent on my way. With an unsecured vehicle for now 4days! The following day I contacted Tatiana about coming in to allow a more experienced technician to look at my vehicle and possibly fixed the problem. This guy reaches back out to me and says it's not the correct window although I ordered the window from the company my car was purchased with VIN and Part number. So again, nothing was done to my car. My window was again taped but this time so poorly the minute it started raining most of the plastic was hanging. I have a BMW truck the last thing I need to worry about is water damage because some unskilled window technicians don't know what they're doing. If the window was not the correct window my window should have never been broken out. Secondly, the certified tech should have never left the unskilled one assuming he knew what he was doing. Not only did he remove the window on my vehicle he cracked the inside of my door open and left it that way. The next day I come to see if it could be corrected and Mr. I have 30 years of experience barely secures my vehicle from rain thought that my door was already ripped open not knowing his co worker did it the day prior and never closed it up. This has been the worst experience I've ever had with any auto service place. The unprofessionalism and lack of knowledge with people's possessions is beyond me. AND TO TOP IT OFF, ALL I GOT WAS A "I'M SORRY ABOUT THAT" My vehicle is still currently unsecure and fully covered with plastic (thanks to me) because out of 3 supposedly certified technicians they couldn't tell before bussing my window out that the window purchased was not the correct window. I spoke to the service rep at BMW and they assure me that the window on my invoice is in fact the window needed. Bottom line, I will never step foot in this place again and anyone considering doing so should reconsider. read more

I' am shocked at some of the bad reviews, this was the third windshield in 3 different cars over about a 5 year period and I have never had even a little problem. I did have to come back another day due to a chip it the replacement windshield the day I had the original appt., but that was not their fault, and when I came back for the second appt. the manager Clint gave me a 20 dollar discount. I have had nothing if not good product and good service each time I have had the unfortunate luck of having to put a windshield in a vehicle. I was very happy Auto Glass Now could squeeze me in on 1/22/2021 in the afternoon since I had an emergency with my back window shattering in my SUV from a prior crack. The latch was working fine on the back door when I took it in; However, the manager was unable to put it back together and so he tied a string on it and now that is how I have to open my back door. I got 3 quotes for replacing a driver side front window on a pontiac. Auto Glass Now had the lowest quote. This was the 1st time I have ever had to have a window replaced. When I called to get a quote, they told me that they could order the glass & have it by 8am the next morning. For that and the fact they had the lowest price, I chose to let them replace my window. The service was great! I appreciated that I was able to get the window replaced in less than 24 hours from when I called. I was told that it would take 1.5 - 2 hours to finish but everything was done in less than an hour! It's definitely less stressful not having to worry about people possibly rummaging through my car or trying to steal it since I did not have a window! read more

Very disappointed in the service given. I had a 2:00pm appointment and was told that it would take 2 hours to replace my windshield. I actually showed up at 1:45pm and it's now 4:15 and just overheard that the windshield will be delivered in about 25 minutes plus the install. I had to listen to the two women that run the office talk BS through the entire time. The air conditioning is turned up too high so its uncomfortable in the waiting room and then to top it all off, I had to listen to the other customers listening to their phones on speaker in the waiting area. MANAGER IS A JOKE!! $189 on a new windshield to pass inspection and get to inspection to see crack that turned into two cracks now. I think when this was done they put chip in bottom of windshield that was covered by my wipers so by the time it grew to not one crack but now two it goes from being covered because it's same day and u dee warranty with nice people to talking to manager after having to wait for glue to dry to fix it and then see if it'll be covered but most likely it won't if there's any chips in it. THIS PLACE IS A JOKE ! Glass shouldn't crack same day it's installed. stupid to save $40-$50 for crappy glass. And horrible management read more

If I didn't have to select a star I wouldn't! This was the worst experience I've ever had at an auto shop. My appointment was scheduled for 1pm and I was told that the job would take approximately a hour and half to complete. After waiting about a half hour, I was told by the receptionist that they forgot to order a part needed to fix my windshield and that the next delivery would be until 3:30pm. The receptionist proceeded to quote and print me a new price, which was significantly more that the initial quoted price. After asking a few questions about the price and a random charge on new bill, I was told that they didn't know what the charge was and that it is on every bill. As I was speaking, I was Interrupted by a man behind the counter who didn't identify himself. He picked up my keys tossed them on the counter and said we are not doing the job, get it done somewhere else! Go, bye, there is nothing else's we can do for you! Bye! - I was blown away! Needless to say, I spent my entire day off sitting in their cold, dirty office listening to their lack of professionalism, poor communication skills, and out right disrespect to countless customers. I was able to observe the amount of business they do and it appears to be be significant, hence the nasty attitude that was displayed towards me and other customers. My job was completed at 4:30pm and they didn't even make an attempt make me want to ever return as a future customer! #POORSERVICE and shame on Auto Glass now for the despicable service! read more

DISORGANIZED and DISHONEST! In March 2015, I had to have my windshield replaced after it was struck by a rock and cracked. They were not very busy when my husband and I went, so the wait time wasn't terrible. Because we hadn't had a bad experience (so far) the lady working told us that if we leave a 5-star review on Yelp, she would give is a 1 year warranty against windshield chips. I was annoyed because their high review on Yelp (I assume it's a different profile than this) was why we chose this company for our windshield replacement. Nevertheless, we left a blank 5 star review so we could get the warranty. However, when they gave me back my keys, I opened my car to find little glass shards EVERYWHERE and black adhesive all over my steering wheel, seat fabric and door. I asked them to clean it out. They did a half hearted job of cleaning it and refused to clean it any better. Fastforward to June 2015. While driving on the Beltway, a rock hit my windshield and left a little chip (the size of a nail head). My husband called and scheduled a 2:00 appointment for June 8th. I showed up at 1:50pm. The lady took my keys and warranty paper, but did not look at my windshield or tell me there was a long wait. Why would it matter anyway? I had an appointment and a warranty. So I waited... and waited... and waited.... The door was propped open and there was no air conditioning (it was about 85 degrees outside). Their water cooler was empty. There were not enough chairs for all of the customers waiting. After 40 minutes of waiting, I asked the man at the counter how much longer it would be. He told me it would be another hour and a half. I told him I had an appointment and that all I need is a chip repair, not a whole new windshield. He told me he would walk out to look at it with me, but then he made me wait another 15 minutes while answering the phone and helping other customers. When he finally walked out to my car, he told me, "Oh, we can't repair that. It's just a pit; not a chip." He also told me that the woman who scheduled my appointment did not actually put it into their calendar. I am still fuming over the fact that I had to sit in a hot, crowded waiting room for an entire hour just for him to tell me he wouldn't fix my windshield. If someone had just looked at my car to begin with, it wouldn't have wasted 2 hours of my afternoon for driving and waiting there! You may be thinking, "That's just one bad experience..." No. There was an elderly lady there before me who told me she had already been there for an hour at that point (again, in 85+ degree heat with no water fountain or water cooler). After making her wait, they removed her windshield and then came in and told her, "OOPS! We actually don't have that one in stock!" She had to wait another 40 minutes or so for them to pick up a new windshield for her. It was just ridiculous. They weren't updating customers or providing accurate timeframes. Heck, they weren't even checking to see if they had materials before starting jobs. The only reason this place has such good reviews online is because THEY BRIBE THEIR CUSTOMERS with warranties that they don't even uphold! read more

I made a 3:30 appt on 3/24, i arrived at 3pm. The lady at the counter tells me, "the wait time is a little longer than normal, its about 3 1/2 hrs because we only have 2 installers." I said oh well i cant wait that long so I rescheduled. Rescheduled for 3/27 at 3:30 i call at noon to verify appointment, and was told that it'll be a 2hr wait for them to take my car. The place is just unorganized, i traveled 30 miles in rush hour for nothing. I rather pay more for a company that know how to manage appointments and customer service. read more
