I called in the morning to request an appointment for someone to come to me to replace my car windshield and they were thankfully able to fix my car within the day! I called two companies requesting for quotes, and their quote was slightly cheaper, especially because they had a $50 for $70 of service yelp coupon (essentially $20 off). I was impressed by their professionalism and their service speed (everything was done in under an hour). I do have one suggestion for the business. They gave me a 4 hour block estimate of when they would be arriving, which could be an inconvience for some people who are leaving their car at work and need to go home within that time block. Although this wouldnt solve the problem, texts to update us with a more exact time as they are approaching closer to the time would be helpful to help us with planning out our day. Overall, I received great service and will definitely consider this company again for my future auto glass needs. read more

I had been holding off on getting my windows tinted forever. The thought of doing research to find a good place, making an appointment was just overwhelming. I decided to stop by Clearview after getting my car washed next door just to check on prices and they were able to fit me in immediately. Just 1.5 hours later I was leaving with tinted windows that looked great! Only issue is they only have a couple of seats by the register and it gets very crowded while waiting. I was able to schedule my service the same day for my windshield replacement. Had my car dropped off in the afternoon and picked it up later that day. The workmanship on my BMW X1 was great. Windshield was perfectly aligned to the dash and surrounding areas, and also with the rear view mirror module with the rain sensor. Alignment is a big thing for me since I had other places rush the job and not have things perfectly aligned and have missed putting covers back on. Cost for replacement at my place in Baltimore City was $249.00. I was given a time window of 9:00a.m.-1:00p.m. The technician showed up at 1:10p.m. with no call ahead despite repeated requests for this. Communication with the shop in general was slow and clunky. If they were in my middle school shop class, they would get an 'Incomplete' before I sent a letter to their parents that they were getting an F. In September, I brought in my Volvo wagon after the rear glass was shattered during a break in. $500 later, they replaced the glass. But the big plastic panel on the inside of the door, which they removed to fix the glass, was just thrown on the seat. I asked them , uh, WTF? The guy said they needed to order some special plastic pins to reattach it, and that would cost $44 when they came in. While he was telling me this, I found them on Amazon for $1.72 each including shipping, for a total of under $12. I said, "oh , you mean THESE?'. He said, "yeah, but I won't charge you" just bring it back in a few days. OK, fast forward to March. Yes, I said MARCH, after I had made nine phone calls over the winter months of having that huge plastic panel in my back seat, they still hadn't gotten them in, and at one point , the guy asked me to send him a photo of the job. He really doesn't like doing chores like this, and only did so, as he was worried the windshield might have issues when I drove it. Clearview looked at the car as soon as he arrived, with no waiting, and determined that it was a pit, and didn't need repair. Even my S.O. was pleased with the experience, and he almost always hates dealing with stuff like this. How many places are honest enough to tell you that you don't need a repair? If you're reading this, you probably have an annoyance like a crack or chip in your windshield. The problem can probably be fixed by any number of shops in town. In my experience, Clearview does it at a significant discount to competitors, performs a quality job, and stands behind their work, even if you take it back and nothing was wrong with the initial work! I had a cracked windshield, and after calling around the city, these guys were roughly 30% cheaper. They did the work, but a few days later, I found water leaking from the top of the A-piller. I took it back, they tested it and, although finding no leaks, reinstalled the windshield anyway. This happened again a few weeks later: heavy rain, water in the footwell from the headliner. Again, they tried reinstalling it. After spending some time examining the problem, I noticed this might, after all, be coming from the sunroof. I mentioned it to their staff, and they had me bring the car in one more time. They had one staff member who had sunroof expertise, who took one look, described the symptoms to me exactly, and jumped out of the car. He mentioned that he'd need an air compressor, and for me to leave the car for an hour. The leak was fixed: it had nothing to do with the windshield at all. And the cost for repairing a problem completely unrelated to the work I had them initially do? Free ninety-nine. Customer service is a pain in the ass: you have know-nothing customers like me that will exercise you over problems not of your making. Clearview's staff is professional and efficient : you can probably find that in a lot of places. My experience shows me they're willing to go the extra mile to create a happy customer, and keep them that way. read more

I think i will venture out and echo sentiments that everyone hates unexpected costs. A couple of weeks ago i noticed a huge crack on my windshield (Honda Civic). Of course insurance wasnt going to cover that (funny) so i promptly started calling places that fix and replace windshield. Most places had me in the upper $240 range but Clearview was $200, i wasnt able to take my car personally for the repair so i had my roommate do it on a Saturday morning. On price alone for my repair it was the cheapest i got, and that is enough for me. The new windshield looks nice and my car approves. read more

I somehow forgot to write my review but anyway..I called them 1st thing in the morning and my window was repaired by 12 noon. The service guy I had name was time and he was the nicest man ever. He apologized for what happened to my window which of course wasn't his fault and he made sure he called about my coupon that I had which they said I couldn't use (I'm mad about that) and he made sure all the glass was gone before returning my keys. Unfortunately we made a really bad experience and we won't come back again. I dropped the car to get the window regulator replaced and they told me to come back at 3pm. I came back and they haven't event started with it!! I asked how much longer it would take and the lady from the desk told me 45min. I waited on it. But instead of 45min it was more than 2 hours!! They just told me afterwards that with a Volkswagen it takes longer. Why didn't they check that before and tell me this!? I wasted half a day waiting! Furthermore they left a big scratch on the door where they replaced the window and told me that it was there before and did not want to fix it. In addition I had do go back a few days later because the door did not open properly anymore. I left the car there for another 2 days at the shop because they had to order a new part for the fix. Then they called me and told me they ordered the wrong part!! So I had to leave the car there over the weekend because they only got the part on Monday!! I was left with no car for many days and had to uber everywhere. Terrible experience, very unprofessional and a lot of waste of time and nerves! read more

Friendly, professional, and FAST!!!! My driver's side window was punched in the night before and there was glass everywhere. I called the insurance and they recommended another place which came in around $250, and I had a $500 deductible, so I called ClearView glass, since they are close to my house and I had had previous work done with them and was pleased. They came in at $218 and said they could do it immediately if I could get there soon. I dropped off the truck at 2:15pm and got the call //less than an hour later//. I couldn't believe it. My oil change the previous day at another shop took an hour and fifteen, and I was the first appointment. When I saw the number on my caller ID I assumed they were calling to tell me they ran into some issue and I'd have to leave the car, etc. etc. because I couldn't imagine in less than an hour it could be anything else. Nope, they were done! So I headed back, and I asked while checking out if they shop-vacced the glass out (cuz I figured so fast that might have been skipped) but they replied they did. And they did! I think break in victims are pretty typical customer types so they have the glass cleanup in the playbook. I'll still get it detailed and there's a couple little pieces still in the door but I'm not sweating it. My truck looks as good as new and I'm back on the road, with very little downtime. I don't know if everyone will be able to get a turnaround as fast as mine, depends on scheduling, how busy they are that day, etc., but my experience was very fast, and regardless they are always courteous and professional. They are definitely my go-to for any auto glass or tinting needs in the future. read more

I spent a pretty penny here.. For some reason my tint is cut around the third brake light. I have gotten my car tinted three times now since owning it. Never had anyone do that.. I think it looks pretty tacky but unfortunately I don't have time to take it back, and the back of my car has quite a few scuffs and scratches .. so I kind of don't want any more damage. Was really optimistic when I went to this place, now I feel a bit disappointed. On a positive note, they were able to start pretty soon after contacting them to get the work done that I needed! I was very thankful for that. Edit: apparently it IS illegal to cover your 3rd break light. Had no knowledge of that. Wish it had been discussed. Kinda funny for the break light to be avoided on tint job under 35% though. LOL. I have no idea what the scuffs are from, clothing equipment, etc. All I know is there are new ones added to my growing collection. I really don't care enough to make a fuss at this point! They changed my window at one place then had to make an appointment for another day some where else. They did not inform me prior to this. Then they couldn't fix my sensor/cameras and totally screwed me. They refuse to reimburse me for the extra $250 it is going to cost me. HnBServices LLC hired this company to replace my hatch door window when their employee was mowing the lawn, a rock shattered it. It took a week to get it replaced because my vehicle was "locked" and had to rescheduled. Baloney, the window is shattered and you can access the vehicle anyway. So I had my vehicle unlocked, they replaced it. The problem was that they allowed some broken glass pieces fall inside the hatch door. You can hear a lot of pieces rolling back and forth when you open the hatch. The vehicle was unlocked when I arrived, can't you guys lock my vehicle? I inspected the work and it looks good job but the hatch can't lock. After several attempts to lock the hatch and it finally locked. I wonder why.... After many days, I found glass pieces were falling out of the hatch lock opening and one day it won't open at all. I do not have the info to contact but HnBServices LLC and they completely ignored me. Clearview Auto Glass and Tint didn't leave me the receipt or warranty, nothing. I found many glass pieces inside the vehicle, they do not clean up at all. So I removed the panel off the hatch door and cleaned up all pieces, it was two cups of broken glass pieces inside my hatch door, it interferes the latch lock and prevents it to lock/unlock. Very sloppy, careless, and unprofessional. read more
