She was, always, professional, didn't guess at what the status was, took a message and passed it on to Ana (I know because I received a return call every time). She recognized the established rapport between myself and Ana and, though she was very helpful, left the final say to Ana. Should I have any, other issues, Gerber will be my first call. Gerber repaired my Toyota Prius after a rear-end collision in 2019. I drove the vehicle without another accident until July 2026, when I was rear-ended at very low speed in bumper-to-bumper traffic. The striking vehicle had almost no visible damage, but the rear of my Prius sustained extensive crushing. When I took my car in for repairs following this 2026 accident, I was informed that my Prius had neither its rear impact bar nor its energy-absorbing bumper material installed. I then obtained Gerber's photographs from the 2019 repair. The 2019 pre-repair photographs show that both components were present when Gerber received and disassembled the vehicle for repairs. Based on the 2019 repair photographs and the 2026 pre-repair inspection, the impact bar was apparently never reinstalled, and the absorber was not replaced. These are safety-related components intended to manage energy in a rear-end collision. For years, my family, passengers, and I used this vehicle believing it had been properly restored. We had no reason to know that critical rear-impact protection was missing. The consequences in a faster collision could have been far more serious, particularly in this hybrid Prius with high-voltage components near the rear passenger and cargo area. I am deeply disturbed by the apparent failure to reinstall essential parts and by the lack of quality control that allowed the vehicle to be returned to me in this condition. This was not a cosmetic oversight. It compromised the vehicle's crash protection and placed the life of every subsequent user of my Prius at risk. I would expect Gerber to investigate how this happened and explain what safeguards it has in place to prevent another customer's vehicle from being returned with safety components missing.

They got nearly all of the broken glass cleaned up, which was really nice. The location was a bit wonky with my GPS. It's tucked behind a building in the back of the complex, so make sure to take a look at where it is on Google Maps before you head out. Apple Maps stops you in the middle of the road, nowhere near the garage. Highly recommended.

In October 2023 while on 495 on near the PG/Montgomery County border, hundreds of motorcyclists were causing chaos and very slow traffic on that Sunday gathering on the side blocking lane and lane splitting between the slow cars. This was insane and incredibly annoying. One of the motorcyclists rammed into my car while lane-splitting. He flipped his motorcycle. He picked up his motorcycle stumbled off to the side, and I tried to get the heck out of there as I didn't want to risk my safety with this awful motorcycle gang. Once I got to where I was going about 45 minutes later, I saw the damage, which wasn't horrible, but it wasn't just some minor nick. Visits here: That next day or two, I shopped around a bit in Laurel & North Laurel, and Carbody Collison had a better rate than the others. Also, Bob was kind and empathic to what happened. It wasn't urgent, but it could become a problem more so in winter because of snow/road salting as bottom part had to be replaced. I wanted to wait to see if insurance would go through, but they refused to cover it. Ultimately, that January 2024 we started the process, but it was going to take some time to get the part needed and would take them some time to do all the repairs. We agreed I'd drop the car off when I was going out of town; I rideshared to BWI airport. A week later I got back to town. Although they had agreed on finishing by then, there was something that was delayed even though we had agreed I come back that Friday afternoon, which I took a rideshare to get from my place to there, which isn't that far. Bob was nice enough to at least let me use a loaner car as I had a couple of other things I was doing, drove home, and then came back in the late afternoon. There was a bit of a tiff over windshield wipers they had replaced, which I thought was going to be cheaper, which I said I didn't agree to that much. He didn't want to continue to too much arguing and credited for either free or nominal price. I drove off to Columbia where I was going that evening. As I was driving back on MD-32 at US 1, I heard a loud noise like something was scrapping on the road. I got off at the next exit and went to the Savage MARC train station parking garage to see what was going on. I saw the piece hanging down. I snapped back in place, which got me home. But then the next day, I went down again, I stopped at a place in Laurel that I knew was open on Saturday. They did a temporary fix to get me through the weekend. I revisited on Monday, explained what happened. Bob apologized seeing what was going on; some screw was missing. He quickly got the staff to put back in while I waited there. In summary, Bob was overall nice & empathic except for a bit of heated discussion over price of an unrelated windshield wiper. I liked the price relative to other places (although I still didn't like as it wasn't cheap). They did a good job overall, but the missing bolt issue was annoying. They did a good job on timelines, but still a bit off on that, but at least got the loaner car for that afternoon as they were wrapping stuff up. This was mostly positive, and while there were some negatives, Bob did do a good job alleviating the negatives.

Some of the tints started bubbling about a month ago on the top of my back passenger and rear windows. I called and scheduled to get it fixed like several weeks ago, and the time finally came. They used to be near the intersection of 193 and 450, only about 10 minutes from my house... they moved to Gambrills! And apparently it was right after I had gotten my tints done. The GPS took me on the backside, but their sign is fairly easy to spot in the middle of the building right off of Rt. 3. I went inside and said I had made an appointment. The guy took my keys, took my car around back, and then I had to hop on a work call, and thankfully they have a WiFi network and are willing to share the password. I hopped on, and I had to pause to answer some questions about the car and when I got my tints done -- and I realized it was 8 years ago. 8 years ago!!! I thought it was in the middle of the pandemic... btu this just goes to show that I have completely lost track of time since the pandemic. Wild. So I worked and a little over two hours passed by, and everything was done! The space inside is very open, and the couches are like the fancy massage ones I think -- but they weren't plugged in... yet. And they had a nice TV setup! There's one actual desk to work at, but I was comfortable in the couch. They could use more desks I'd say, but otherwise I like the environment. It's open and chill. They do a lot of custom car work and are professional. And they crank HARD when they're working in the garage. I was jamming to most of their playlist. Pay them a visit!

I was in the area and looking for someone to install my subs for my car. I came across this spot…read moreand it had good reviews. I went in and the owner is a fellow Mustang fan so I knew I was in the right spot. They set me up with new wiring and connected my amp and sub. They sound great, they were not expensive and I am happy! Definitely will be going back to work with Mike on some more customization on the car.
