Well they never showed up between the hours of 2 to 6. The driver called me at 6:15 and said it would take 25 minutes to get to my house. But I had to leave. They had given me a quote prior of $345. I thought that was high considering I was supposed to get a AAA discount. After they didn't show I called another place near me where I had to drive my car cto... I went the next morning they charged me $120 and did an excellent job. It only took an hour. It was in Gardena. Lesson learned these big companies that have the commercials and a lot of advertising usually charge you three times as much and do terrible work. read more

I have used All Star Glass through my insurance several times and have been very satisfied. The last time my daughters back window was replaced and after did not open. It's been over a year working with Yeslli, the office manager, on fixing the issue. Due to my daughter having it away at college it was challenging. Late. Rude. I still don't have my window fixed. So I scheduled my appointment in the 8-12 time slot, but only after I talked to Aleeda or whatever her name was, and was assured that I would be the first appointment. So I assume that by that they meant at 8am the guy would be there to fix my glass. 815 rolls by and I call to confirm that I still have an appointment. The guy on the phone tells me they come in at 8 and load up the trucks and then go on their way to their destinations. Would have been nice to know. They tell me I'm still first on the schedule and he'll definitely be there before 10. 10am? Are you serious, now I'm going to be late for work. Awesome. About an hour goes by and I call again. This lady on the phone says the driver has left and he should be there by now. She tries to get him on his radio. The guy doesn't answer. She says she'll call me back. Doesn't. I waited one more hour, then at 10 (when they promised they would be there by) I left for work. With no window. A half an hour later as I am arriving at work. Aleeda calls me finally calls me back to let me know the guys is standing outside of my car. Really? I'm pretty sure I'm in my car in El Segundo. Lies. So I'm livid at this point and Aleeda has the nerve to tell me "we don't make any promises." Some incredible business attitude they have there at all star glass. It's priced the same as other places that also come to you and have warrantees. Absolutely terrible service and a tardiness that would put the cable company to shame. If you have a schedule or a job, hey even just a life, don't rely on these idiots because they will definitely screw up your day. read more

"Worked" with ASG recently....or so I thought. I had a cracked windshield, called the insurance, filed the claim, a rep reached out, I was told to call and confirm. The communication was hit/miss--they would leave messages, I would call back (I was on vacation when the incident happened). I called on a Friday to schedule the appointment. I was told that they were not servicing on the weekends (I come to find out this is not the case--they service on Saturdays), so I made an appointment for a Monday. Again, I had to call back to confirm, to which I did. The lady on the other end even said "see you Monday!" Monday rolls around, and I took work off for the four hour window they gave me in order to accommodate the service. Why take work off for a mobile service? Because I too, am a mobile service. It's 30 minutes before the scheduled time finishes, and I have yet to get any call. I pick up the phone, call the 'call center' and inquire about the ETA of my glass man. I am told "yes, I see you are scheduled today, let me send out an inquiry about your ETA and your technician will call you." Makes you believe your service is actually scheduled and happening right? I'm the fool here. Twenty-five minutes later, I get a call from local store rep. I am informed that I "never confirmed my appointment" and that I need to reschedule. Oh, and that they can even come on the weekend!? Multiple lies happening here, multiple people trying to cover-up for many people's mistakes. Do I mind that the mistake was made? Sure, but what bothers me more is that nobody took responsibility and that fib after fib was made (weekend schedule, the fact I was or was not in the system). My advice? Make sure you document times of all communication with this company, as well as with whom you speak. Here's to taking more time off work to get the job done...the second time around. read more

Bad service, bad labor, rude people. These guys replaced a bad windshield on my new Ford van. They contracted to Power Ford for the warranty repair. The installation was horrible. The windshield wipers were installed wrong and the rubber moulding was installed so it was not in the same place as the original. My van has a wrap and thier installion exposed edges of the wrap all around the window. Looks like c#ap! Ford sent me to their place to fix it. They told me it was not their fault and not a warranty claim. I got upset and a gang banger looking guy wityh flames on his arm told me I was not their customer and to leave. These guys are not All Stars but "Bush League" rookies with a customer no service attitiude. STAY AWAY from these loosers. There are many good glass companies out there. read more

I came to this shop for help because I had a mickey mouse windshield replacement a couple years ago that recently started leaking. I needed to have the windshield removed, seals and trim installed properly, then put the windshield back in. They provided a quote for just that and a quote for the event that the windshield cracked upon removal. Carlos came to my job to do it, removed it without breaking it, did a perfect job. ZERO STARS! (If I could give it zero) So some guy was mowing his lawn and he said a rock shot out from his lawn mower and went through my rear window of my 2013 ML 350. He said his homeowner's insurance would cover it, so no big deal. I wanted the dealer to install it, but AAA recommended All Star Glass, so I thought I'd give them a shot. They came to install my glass while I was at work, I get a call from my dad asking me how to close the tailgate? I said huh? Just push the button. It wouldn't close, so they tried the button on the remote and the button on the driver's door, still wouldn't close. Even tried to force it closed by hand, still wouldn't close. I told my dad to tell the guy to STOP immediately and step away from my car, and not to touch it ever again. I called my insurance to let them know what was going on and that I wanted the dealer to take over. AAA said he's not done yet, he's still installing the glass, I told them that he's done enough to my car he's done. My dad said the tech from All Star Glass was speculating that it could be this, it could be that, etc. My dad asked him if he knew how to fix those problems, the guy says no, my dad told him not to even try to mess with it. Now I have to take it to the dealer to get it repaired. I'm looking at my bumper, and I see the paint scratched up, clearly he did this since he left a "pre existing damage" form which says there was pre existing damage (scratches) on the plastic side panels inside the cargo area, but nothing about the bumper. Last week at Wardlow Station someone (probably a tweaker, although they haven't reviewed the surveillance footage) busted my passenger side window and stole my briefcase. Didn't take my insurance, three gas cards (which I no longer use and have since destroyed) or anything in my glovebox. That was the good news...the bad news is I lost all my job information, notes, policy/procedures and some personal stuff. Nothing critical, but generally a pain in the ass. Tweaker probably thought he'd score a laptop...sorry to disappoint, asshat. Anyway, called Mercury, told me that the deductable was $250, so they transferred me to All Star Glass. Mercury transfered me to a wrong number and I had to call another number (guy wasn't able to transfer me for some reason). Made an appointment for the next day; although I was able to drop off my car at thier location, they didn't have the glass in stock. Appointment set for 8:00am So 8am rolls around, not here. Figures. Good news is I didn't have to go in until 2pm. 9am and 10am roll around, guess what...not here. I'm thinking to myself "Shit, I could've slept in." Antonio finally arrives around 10:30am and popped off the panel and housing in no time. Obvisouly, he does this all the time; I've done it one because my passenger side window will roll down but not up. Dealer says it's a faulty body control module (of course a $800 part) but it's most likely a switch. He pulls the seals, vacuums where I missed (at $100 for labor, I should've let him do the whole thing) and he runs a bypass from his drill battery to get my window rolled up. I told him not to reconnect the window switch, so he just left it unplugged in the console, but it rattled around and was annoying as hell. Several minutes, two screws and securing the plug made it rattle-free; was kind of disappointed that he didn't put it back where he found it. Got new glass, car is now tweaker-proof, but it'd be nice if they'd honor their appointment times (none of this 8am-noon nonsense) and Mercury having the right phone number. read more

Several weeks ago, a rock hit my windshield and created a small crack. ARGH... This especially distressful, because I have a Subaru with the Eyesight safety system, and I remember when I bought it, they said that cracks in the windshield mean you have to replace the whole thing. But it was so tiny, and nowhere near the cameras, I didn't see how it could interfere any worse than a bug splattered on the windshield. After a week or so of agonizing (and fearing the crack was going to get bigger,) I finally started looking online for places to repair it. I called up All Star Glass, and explained the situation to the lady on the phone, and she confirmed that it sounded like a repair was all that was needed. Unfortunately they were so busy that the appointment was two weeks out. Thankfully the crack didn't get any worse. I showed up, and was reassured that it looked like a good candidate for a repair. I was in and out in well under an hour, and the repair looks great - just a tiny dot, and I've confirmed that the eyesight system is still working. (It caught me drifting out of my lane as I headed a touch too early into a turn lane!) With the AAA discount, I probably saved around a grand compared to what a replacement windshield and recalibration of the eyesight system would have cost me. Thank you All Star Glass! I needed to have my windshield replaced. I filed an insurance claim. Claudia with All Star Glass made it difficult for me and the insurance company to even get the windshield order with them. Once everything was processed, windshield arrived to them, I made an appointment to have it installed. They delivered to me a defective windshield, and were planing on installing that. This happened twice. And they have the worst customer service. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. read more

Pro: the technician and people I spoke with in the offices were nice. Con: my windshield started with a small chip which was not spreading, and after AllStar Glass's treatment the entire windshield needs replacement My smaller-than-quarter-sized chip in my windshield looked great after the technician finished. There was a small dot where the chip had been originally, but no surrounding cracks. Later in the day, the cracks had reappeared, looking exactly as they had looked before the repair. I called the company to complain, but they said nothing more could be done since they had already injected resin. I understand that repair is for structural and not cosmetic purposes, but I do not have confidence that my windshield is any more structurally sound given that the cracks first disappeared and have now reappeared. The company offered to credit me the money I paid towards a new windshield, but I do not have confidence in this company now to do further work on my car so that is not a satisfactory outcome to me. In the past I used Safelite on a different car with a chip in the windshield and the cracks did not reappear. I will definitely call Safelite and not All Star Glass in the future! read more

He removed the windshield wipers to be able to remove the damaged glass and install the new windshield. I followed a claim with my insurance which then called these idiots to come repair my car window. They said they would be at my place to repair it between 1pm-5pm. I had work that day and called off because I wanted my car fixed and not have to go to work with no window. Anyways. NO ONE called or showed up to fix it! I called at 5, they said someone would be on their way shortly. Called again at 5:30 just so they can say no one will be coming today, the shop is now officially closed. Like wtf?!?!?!? I was able to make a next day, 8am on-site appointment. They replaced my windshield with a Ford OEM for a good price, started the work as soon as I got there (a few minutes before my scheduled apt), finished in less than the quoted time of an hour, and were incredibly professional and courteous. They paid attention to detail too - asking if I wanted the old parking stickers that were attached and, without me asking, placing my oil reminder sticker on the new window. All in all, I was very happy with my experience! A note: I chose an on-site apt because they cant replace windshields while the car is parked on the street and house-call replacements have, I think, a 4 hour window. I guess they don't have google maps or even a Thomas guide. By 2:20 I got concerned so I called back only to be told he's not coming anymore and someone else will. So I called the main number and was told he would be there in 10 mins. Ok. He gets here with the wrong molding and says I will need to reschedule after Monday when they get the correct one in. Since my car was new when the window was damaged I wanted new OEM, not after-market glass. AAA suggested 2 places and since I had already had trouble with the other one, I decided to give All Star a phone call. What a difference. They worked nicely with AAA and knew exactly what my needs were. It took a few days to get the specialized glass into their location, but once it was in they came the very next day. The glass is wavy and no where near what the manufacturer installed when the car was new. He knew it was substandard but installed it anyway. He waited for me to see it was no good.
