I received a phone call saying they don't work on Sundays and they only got my request now, it's 830am. My windshield isn't in stock and they aren't going to get it in by 10am. What a waste of time. I called this other place, closer to home and the owner quoted me the same price AND has the part in stock. I'm currently writing this review now here. Auto Glass Now, change your name. I had a wonderful experience at auto glass now on Moreno Blvd for a third time. The passenger side window on my daughters car was cracked and needed replacement before she went on a road trip in two days. They were able to schedule me an appointment for 9 AM the next day, and I could not be happier with the service. They were sent the wrong window at first but were able to get the right window from their warehouse within 30 minutes. They gave me a credit against my bill for the delay. During the work the battery ran down and the car would not start, but they took care of the problem by putting a charger on it while they finished up. Turns out the battery was eight years old and it certainly was not their fault. But they went out of their way to make sure I could get back on the road. I first use these guys when they did a windshield on my 2001 BMW 740. That car is very finicky when it comes to alignment, and they nailed it after Safelite totally screwed up the install. The insurance company paid to have All-Star undo Safelite errors and do it the right way. On top of all this they are very competitively priced and 1 million times better than Safelite. This is my 3rd time with AllStar glass. My 1st and 2nd were one week apart. A rock to my 380 sl windshield twice in one week!!!!! This last one was to my Prius. Thank goodness I have good insurance. After contacting AllStar and then my insurance... the process was very easy. Pay my deductible to AllStar and then they directly bill my insurance co. AllStar accidentally came to my work but then still made it to my home and replaced the windshield in less that 2 hours. Had to visit this place again after 20 years, same service and craftsmanship. Jacqueline was my call center agent who quoted and prepared my work order. She was very professional and polite over the phone. She was also very informative about the final cost and fees for the replacement windshield as to verification of part numbers and type of glass replacement. Edward was my tech who did the replacement windshield. He was very polite, friendly and answered all my questions before getting the work done. My concern was my alarm remote on the old windshield, he offered me to choose my own placement or trust his judgement with the new mounting location. I trusted his judgement and everything looks perfect. Was offered water or coffee at my 9 am check in appointment. This place has free wifi and bathrooms with a sitting area. After spending 3 hours getting my windshield replaced, the technician said the sensor calibration failed. He blamed the brand of glass, stating he usually uses a different brand for my type of car. He offered me to come back another day to try the calibration again and that if it failed another time he'd replace the windshield again altogether with the other preferred brand. After rescheduling for the next day (my only day off for another week) they text me with a lame excuse about why they can't fulfill my scheduled appointment and that I would need to reschedule yet again. After a tumultuous back and forth thru text message, I rescheduled for a week later (had to drive around for a week with all of my dashboard lights flashing because of the sensors) and was promised a $50 discount for the inconvenience. Spent another 2 and a half hours here today, windshield was replaced and then I had to beg for my promised refund. Then they told me it was already discounted when I paid the first time?! Then they come up with a new total and tell me they'll be refunding me a total of $18 for my troubles... paid over $700 to be given the runaround. Not cool read more

These women stay hidden behind their partitions and never actually afford any eye contact. I tell them my appointment is at 2pm. One woman: I wasn't aware we had a two-o'clock appointment. Then, silence. 1:48 - I walk. After standing there like a jerk for fifteen minutes and then condescended to about my appointment - it was as though they didn't believe me - I thought that this was a bad fit overall. This isn't indicative of a business I want to support. You weren't aware? Stay unaware. Now you don't have an appointment at all. The best/worst part was the banner that hung above these unseen voices, which read "Extraordinary Service". Nearly two years ago, we were ready to leave in our Subaru Forrester for a driving trip through northern Nevada, when we realized one of the "stars" in our front windshield was growing a crack. My car's windshield got a nine inch crack due to a rock on the freeway. I contacted my insurance company and they informed me that the deductible was $250. They told me that All Star Glass was the company they would be working with if I was file a claim. I went online to their website for a quote. Later this same day, ASG called me and they quoted me a price cheaper than the insurance estimate. In addition, I could receive new wiper blades too. All for less than my deductible. As a result, I bypassed the middleman and worked directly with ASG to save some money. The process was easy. I was able to schedule a time for a technician (with the Chula Vista office) to come directly to my place of work. I liked that I didn't have to go and wait for work to be done. Having the tech come to me made it more convenient. The morning I was to have my windshield replaced both technicians called out of work so my appointment was delayed one day. I was given a four hour window for the following morning. The technician, Armando, called me 45 minutes before the four hour window ended. He was already on site and at my car before I exited the building to meet him. He was quick in replacing the windshield. It only took him about 20 minutes. I wish the service window was smaller so I could have attended some meetings. But everything worked out fine in the end. I wasn't told that I couldn't drive the car for at least an hour after the windshield was installed so after I changed parking spots and read the small print on the invoice, I discovered that I shouldn't have moved the car. I called ASG to verify if I had done any harm to the car. Jade took down my question and told me that someone would reach out to Armando and return my call. Within 40 minutes, Christy called me back and told me that she spoke with Armando. Since I hadn't driven over 50 mph and went a very short distance, the car would be fine. All star glass is amazing! I've used them twice now in the past year and they have exceeded expectations. I was initially referred to them by my insurance company, but given that the cost was less than my deductible I was going to be paying out of pocket anyway. As such, I did a lot of shopping around for prices and not only does All Star Glass offer a lifetime warranty which a lot of places don't have, they also had one of the lowest if not the lowest price. And not just the lowest price for a mobile service, but I called several repair shops and All-Star glass was still lower, though they gave me a 10% discount and waived the mobile service fee because I was referred to them through my insurance. Anyway, my car was just serviced by their technician Carlos who was very friendly and efficient. He called me prior to his arrival with an estimated time for when he would arrive and he arrived right on time. After arriving, he verified the price with me and answered some of my questions and got right to work. He was done in less than 45 minutes for my passenger side window, and also vacuumed up all of the broken glass I had all over my car. Really great service. Another thing that stands out about all star glass is that anytime I called them they have very friendly and helpful phone receptionists. I'm not sure what other people's experiences are, but several of the other places I called did not have anything close to the same level of customer service over the phone. All-Star also makes it easy by e-mailing me an invoice after I made my appointment over the phone with the total amount I would pay, ensuring that I knew exactly what the cost would be prior to the service and not worrying about any surprise charges. It's too bad that even though they service greater Los Angeles, they don't show up in my searches because their headquarters is based in San Diego, so my fellow Angelenos won't find them. read more

These guys should change their name to "Minor League Glass" because they'll get the job done, but it won't be done on time and it won't be very good. Day 1: I make an appointment through my insurance to have my rear driver side door window replaced on a 2007 BMW. The tech takes 90 minutes to get my door panel off and discovers the glass their ordered does not fit. Fantastic. Since it is Friday, I have to wait until Monday to try again. Day 4: After a weekend of driving around with a bag over my window, a tech shows up at my house. He installs the correct piece of glass (finally), but tells me that he was unable to fix the rear sunshade and also tells me that due to a sensor in the door, the window will not operate smoothly if the one touch window up feature is used. He's also made a poor attempt at reinstalling the trim piece (it was lose) and left broken glass all over my garage floor. I was done with these idiots, so I told him to leave. I cleaned up the glass myself, reinstalled the trim piece myself, and after fiddling with sunshade for a few minutes...I got it to work. The one touch feature for my rear window still does not work and I can also hear broken glass sliding around in my rear door. Really? You couldn't even vacuum out the glass? Piss poor service and workmanship. I would have saved myself a lot of hassle by just buying a replacement glass from a salvage yard for $50.00 and installing it myself. I'd make more a fuss, but I won't have this car much longer. Soon it will be Carmax's problem. Avoid these guys. Find a better shop that does better work. If insurance directs you here, demand another store. read more

The worst customer service and quality I've ever experienced. The front desk is not attentive whatsoever and I had to ring the bell more than 3 times on each of my visits. Very careless attitude by the workers. Got my windshield fixed after getting a rock through it. They were decent enough to help fix it. After less than two weeks of driving a giant crack started going up the middle of my windshield. There was no point of impact, no rock, or outside element that caused the second crack. They refused to fix it for free even though I obtained warranty through them. They quoted me $400 to fix the mess they made. I BEG YOU PLEASE DO NOT COME HERE. I couldn't understand why water kept leaking into the footwells of my Jeep Grand Cherokee every time it rained. I figured it was due to problems with the sunroof drainage system so I kept clearing out the drainage lines but then it would leak again when it rained. The carpets in the footwells were waterlogged, sometimes with up to an inch of water on one occasion and there are electrical lines down there as well so I was having weird electrical problems as well. It turns out that when All Star last changed the windshield the installer failed to put any adhesive along the top of the windshield and also failed to install the rubber seal along the outside of the windshield along the top as well and the water was getting in through the top of the windscreen and running down the grab rail housings along the side of the windscreen inside the car and then down into the footwells. I looked at my other Jeep which has also been having similar problems and notice there is no rubber seal along the top of that windscreen as well so I'm wondering if they did the same to that one also. read more

After I discovered it would cost $1100 to get my windshield replaced through my dealership I was thankful my boss referred All Star Glass. Initially, I had an appointment with All Star on 5/16 but, when I was on route for the appointment I was disgruntled to learn I was mistakenly left off their schedule and my service estimate/info. was not entered in their system. When I requested to reschedule they provided a higher service quote ($340) however, after speaking to a different representative I was provided the original quote ($233). I brought my car in two weeks later and I was thoroughly satisfied with their services. Their staff were friendly and when they said the car would be done in an hour, it was done right on the hour. The best part of all, my "Ollie" (my mini) is gorgeous again and I didn't have to give up an arm and a leg. read more

So here's my All Star Glass story... on New Year's Day, I went out to my car to find a hole in my windshield, a bullet lying on my dash, and glass shards EVERYWHERE in my car. My car was apparently in the way of a bullet returning to Earth from celebratory gunshots. Remember: what goes up must come down! I called AAA to file a claim and they gave me the numbers of two companies who I could call to replace my windshield. I called the first number she gave me, and I kid you not, the woman sounded drunk (in her defense, it was New Year's Day). She couldn't find my claim number and didn't want to be bothered so she told me to call back later. Instead, I called the 2nd number AAA had given me, which was All Star Glass. I got their voicemail, so I left a message explaining the situation. I figured they'd call me the next day since it was a holiday, but I got a call back within the hour! The woman on the phone (sorry, I don't remember her name!) was ridiculously nice and she helped me schedule an appointment between 1 and 5pm the very next day for a technician to come out to me to replace my windshield. The next day, I got a call from a super nice woman (maybe the same woman as before?) at All Star Glass confirming the appointment and getting some additional details to help the technician find the place. I also let her know that I'd be home all day, so if he's a little early or late, that's fine. At 12:30, I got a call from Tito, the technician, letting me know he was here. Tito was super nice, professional, and very good at his job. He replaced the windshield and vacuumed all the glass shards so it was safe to drive my car. He even turned on the vents to ensure no shards had ended up there and I wouldn't get blasted with glass shards when I turned on my defroster. His attention to detail was awesome! We were visiting San Diego for five weeks and had a broken slider window in our truck. We went to All-Star Glass because it was close by. I had called our insurance company, State Farm prior to going there. We asked to deal with the insurance company and Gloria said it is best to pay them and do it ourselves. We rarely use our insurance but have not heard of that before as companies are always willing to work with insurance. We are awaiting a check from State Farm because they thought they were sending one to All Star glass. Had they been willing to work with our insurance company this confusion could have been avoided. Not very happy with this company. After all this time, it seems like they don't know what they're doing. I first go on to their website to get a quick estimate on a 2017 Range Rover Evoque. Estimate comes out to about $500 online but they tell me I need to speak to a specialist to get an accurate price and schedule the appointment. About 2 hours later, someone calls to follow up and request more information about my vehicle. This person starts asking questions about my vehicle, including vin number or license plate number, which I provide. Then, she proceeds to provide me a different quote for about $500, no problem, I accept it and schedule an appointment. My cars is always parked at a public parking lot but I'm not available during the day, thus when scheduling the appointment, they never explained that I needed to be present the whole time while they performed the work. Appointment day comes, and I have to reschedule because I can't be there and they won't touch my car unless I'm present the whole time. I could have provided full access as my car can be unlocked remotely. No worries, I didn't ask and they didn't disclose until the day of the appointment. Then, I schedule another appointment and pay someone to be there at the time of the appointment as I still can't present. Installer shows up only to find out the windshield he has was the wrong one and he also needed more parts in order to get my windshield installed. Another day and money wasted. A couple hours later, a different specialist calls only to tell me their system was wrong and the part they originally quoted me was incorrect, even though I had provided my VIN number, and the cost of my windshield was going to go up to $900 and it was going to take a few more days in order to get this installed. Very disappointed with their lack of explanation at first when I made my first appointment, then, the cost of the parts required almost doubles after they had already provided an "accurate" quote. I will definitely not be using their services any more nor I would recommend anyone to use them. I don't give them a 1 start because at the end, I don't know the quality of their work. read more
