I had my windshield replaced late last year and have had a little dent done 2 months in. they fixed it for $75 and two months later I got a new crack and it has spread throughout my windshield. when I contacted them they told the warranty doesn't cover new damage. I got my quote, gave my insurance their information, and had my windshield fixed and car recalibrated with ease. The rep I spoke to sent me a text instructing me to send in some pictures of the damage. Next, I was asked the make and model of my vehicle and what part of town I was in. I was told that a tech would be out to give a no cost estimate within an hour. True to their word, Roman arrived and quickly assessed the situation. He quoted me $85 for a repair and assured me that AGS would stand behind the quality of their work. He had me inspect the finished repair and I couldn't have been happier. What started out as a good experience quickly went South. Sadly someone smashed out my window and I scrambled for reputable company to help me. One Star for Marisa who was kind to me during my upset. Service scheduled but no show on part of technician even though I had been told he was " coming right over." Upon calling back an hour later, the business owner answered and was evasive, and quite frankly, rude!! Customer Service is missing! I had my windshield repaired by this company. Immediately after the work was finished the technician broke the new windshield. Even though I had a cracked windshield, and I was not able to drive my car, they still charged me full price that day. The new appointment was not convenient, and customer service was definitely not helpful, nor did they seem to care that I lost two days of work, and had to sit through a second appointment. They did an amazing job, cleaned ALL of the glass out of my car (even in the little nooks and crannies), quickly replaced my window, and it was all affordable. Really nice people that were recommended by my mechanic. But two days later it winds up my appointment didn't get in the system and they quoted me on the wrong windshield. Their quote on the correct windshield was significantly higher than Allstar and while the owner was apologetic he didn't offer to meet their price. We all have bad days, but pretty unprofessional and a waste of my time. Allstar comes out tomorrow. Oh well. read more

I had a crack on my windshield that needed replacement. My bf has been in contact with them for the past few days to make arrangements for my windshield to be replaced. In the beginning, I was confident with their service because they were referred by the dealership. What happened today irked me. We made arrangements that they would come out to our location in the morning (8:00 - 12:00) to replace the windshield. We called them around 9 to let them know that we had a change of plans; the car was going to be at a different location. I asked the installer if that's alright because I needed to get it done today. He said no problem, but he had to finish this ONE job, then he'll come over around noon. Noon, he called and told me he's running late, he'll come at 2:00pm, which meant that he finished with that ONE job and now onto another. But I waited patiently... Around 2, I haven't heard from him so I called. He told me he was really backed up and couldn't make it for another few hours. I called the main office and told her the situation; asked her if there's anyway I can get it done today - I was looking for help, but I got some unwarranted attitude over the phone. Not cool! Then she tells, they can't do it for me at all because the installer got backed up with the other jobs. I swore he told me ONE. If they couldn't do it, they could've told me upfront in the morning. I'm giving them an extra star because I did change location on them, but that's part of their service. They said they could come to the customer. If they couldn't, they should have said so in the morning so I didn't have to wait all day. Also, attitude was not necessary from the desk. If you don't like my business, I'm happy to take it elsewhere! Current mood: Annoyed. read more

My son borrowed my car to drive to AZ... When he was driving out there a rock hit the windshield and due to the heat it cracked up about 1/3 up the windshield. I need more stars! Moms windshield was completely shattered. My insurance company tried to get us a replacement with a large well known company whose name I will not speak. There were issues tracking one down due to the age of the vehicle but I was assured it would arrive and be installed on a certain day. My car was recently vandalized the rear window and passenger window were smashed. Other companies that I called couldn't make repairs for two or three days. When I called Auto Glass and expressed my concerns that my car would not be secured and could easily be broken into or stolen they came that very day. Carlton my repairman explain the the tint on the passenger window was the wrong color. He said the right window was on order but he would install this one so my car would be secure. He also pointed out that the rear windshield wiper motor had been damaged and he would order the part and replace it. He could have easily not said anything but he wanted to make sure the job was done right and there were no Issues in the future. Carlton was so honest and professional. Auto Glass Specialists came to my house 3 times in a matter of four days and I never felt that it was an inconvenience for them. Job was done right. Windshield fits and doesn't leak. Just wasn't a good customer service experience. Not professional. Am I the only one who would expect a new windshield to be clean and streak free?! I don't think so. Customer service was terrible. Made appointment for 2:30pm at shop as I don't have four hours to wait. Explained this to Tom when appointment was made. Advised Tom that after checking the distance from work, I might want to change the appointment to an earlier time which he had offered. Tom was agreeable and indicated that would not be a problem at all to change the appointment time. Called back the very next day, several days prior to the appointment, to change the time to 2:00pm. The female who's name I did not get first asked me why, then had me hold while she checked and then begrudgingly agreed to change the appointment time. I showed up for appointment a few minutes before 2:00pm. Someone else was waiting at the front desk so I sat down in their tiny waiting room. When she came to the desk he said he had a 2:00 appointment and I said I did as well. He was there for a stereo install so she told him to wait. Without pleasantries, she took my keys. So I waited. During my wait I had to hear the stereo installer man ranting and cussing. At about 3:30 she came out to collect the deductible from me without pleasantries. I asked her if the work was done and if I could see it first. She begrudgingly took me out to see it. My windshield had two strips of yellow tape at the top. I asked what and why. She said it was to keep the windshield in place and needed to remain on for four hours but advised that I could drive home like that. When driving home my windshield was streaked on the right side which as a distraction. I expected the windshield to be clean. My paperwork showed me in at 2:30 and out at 3:34. So I wasted 30 minutes in the waiting room apparently because my appointment time was never changed. The waiting room is door is covered by a mutilated horizontal blind, Unprofessional. read more
