They did not contact me for the final installation until July 13. The shop charged my insurance nearly $6,000, yet my car was returned to me with poor-quality and incomplete repairs. I have included photos of the $6,000 repair they billed my insurance company, along with my rental car receipts, so you can see exactly what I went through and judge the quality of the work for yourself. The first time I picked up my car, no one told me the job was not actually finished. Also Clips had been removed or were missing, and my car made a horrible noise while I was driving on the freeway. It honestly sounded like my wheel was going to fall off, my anxiety and stress was ultimate high. I had to bring the car back, rent another vehicle, and wait while the North Park location sent my car to Miramar and then back again. Communication was terrible throughout the entire process. I constantly had to call for updates because no one kept me informed. My insurance only covered a rental car for one month. Because this shop took so long and still had not completed the repairs correctly, I had to pay for another month of rental expenses and rental insurance out of my own pocket. They did not cover the full rental cost and would not even agree to pay half of my rental insurance, even though their delays and poor workmanship were the reason I needed the rental for so long. The second time they returned my car, the clips still had not been properly installed. I was driving on the freeway with my baby in the car, genuinely scared that the wheel or part of my car was going to come off because of the horrible noise. I then had to continue driving the car like that for another month while waiting for them to finish the job. That was completely unacceptable and unsafe. I had to return to the shop four separate times just to get the repair completed correctly. Pablo, the manager at the North Park location, did not go above and beyond to resolve the situation. There was no urgency, accountability, or concern for the stress, financial loss, inconvenience, or safety risk this caused me and my baby. I have already notified my insurance company about this experience and asked them not to recommend this shop as a reliable or trustworthy repair facility. This place is a disaster. Poor workmanship, terrible communication, excessive delays, unsafe repairs, and no accountability. Save yourself the stress and take your car somewhere else.

I had a chip in my windshield and my insurance company set up an appointment with Auto Glass of San Diego to do a mobile repair (fill). Auto Glass of San Diego gave me a four-hour window on Friday, and said the technician would call 30 minutes prior to arriving. After waiting around all morning and not receiving a call or visit, I finally called them 30 minutes after the allotted window and was told that the technician was in North County, 1.5 hours away, supposedly stuck in traffic. It was never explained to me why they scheduled back-to-back appointments at opposite ends of the county, didn't plan for Friday traffic on Rt. 5, and hadn't bothered to call and let me know they were running late. Despite misgivings, I decided to give Auto Glass of San Diego another chance, and had them reschedule for Monday morning, this time in an hour window, for the first appointment of the day to ensure that the technician would not be running late. Imagine my frustration when they no-showed AGAIN! This time when I called, I was told that the technician was "only" 30 minutes away, and would head to my location next. I told them to cancel the appointment, and will be letting my insurance know about my experience.

Every time I'm in the highway and pass by large trucks 3/10 times something comes flinging my windshields way and it's weathered many cracks over the 13 years I've had it. My biggest disappointment comes from the lack of communication afterwards. Tried to cover up having the wrong windshield with excessive amounts of adhesive. In the photo taken after removing the wrong windshield, you can see areas of adhesive did not touch the glass Jose installed. To hide the mess and get paid, he covered all the edges of the windshield with blue tape. Next day, I removed the blue tape and drove the truck...windshield had a whistling noise and water leaked into the cab when poured from a cup onto the outside edges. Called and explained the issue and he did offer to fix only after arguing with me for 10 minutes, but I decided I did not trust his work. I offered to pay the wholesale cost of the windshield and asked that he refund me labor cost, which he refused. Guy I had install the correct windshield said that Jose's install was horrible and his price was for the more expensive 3rd gen window, despite being the incorrect part number. Photos of windshields in the rack show the obvious difference between 2nd and 3rd gen windshields, note the rubber tabs on sides of the new 3rd gen windshield and the excessive adhesive after removal on the 2nd gen windshield Jose installed. Do not trust your safety to JC Autoglass.

We had been quoted anywhere between $5,000-$15,000 to replace our sliding patio doors with French…read moredoors. Our garage is detached, so we could not lock our old patio doors, meaning if we wanted to use our garage, we either had to leave the house unlocked or walk around the block to our front door. We were told by all the other contractors that our doorway was a weird size, and that they were unable to install the doors without cutting into our drywall and stucco and removing our patio stairs. We were also told this would be a project that took multiple days. I posted our other quotes to Yelp to see if other contractors could beat it, and Sivan responded. Oded from Sivan came in and confirmed what I suspected: That what we were told by other contractors was wrong, and that they could easily replace our sliding patio doors with French doors with a lock, and that it could be done via retrofitting and would only take a matter of hours. Everyone at Sivan was easy to work with. My husband and I frequently have meetings during the day, so it's hard to have a call about house stuff. Everyone at Sivan was able to communicate via e-mail and text so we could handle things while in meetings, and they were super responsive even though we sometimes took months to respond because we had a baby since we originally reached out to them. We were able to get our doors done for $4,298.80, which was the best quote we had from any contractor and included labor, materials, and a warranty. In sum, we highly recommend Sivan if you are looking to replace your doors!

Well what can i say about a company that already has great reviews other than "wow this guys definatly know what they are doing". After my wife wrecked her second car on a stop sign, the stop sign itself came up and hit the windshield caused a hole and a spiderweb the sise of a big watermelon. Granted i was pissed off about his fact but i knew that there was a quick solution somewhere. My wife was ok...but the windshield was in need of repair plus we were already over our budget so we needed someone to fix it good without breaking the already broken bank. So my wife and i decided to call around and some of the peole were quoting us at 200 +. Some i thought were just trying to get money out of us. So we finaly ran into A Clear View Auto Glass right here in San Diego. The guy Bill is a native of San Diego which means i am giving my business to local businesses. Bill showed up at our house on time and with 15 minutes to spare. My wife and i chatted him up and watched him as he workd on our poor windshield. We chatted about life in the Dominican Republic which is where i am from. Eventhoug we were holding up a good conversation he still continued to work and never got distrated. Great customer service and people skills were presented by Bill. So my recomendation is that if anybody need any auto glass than Clear View is the right choice. From prices, to great customer service plus the record time in which everything was completed was satisfactory. Billy Solomon and Ahmed are simply phenomenal. My Acura TL was broken into on New Years, which made for a very rude awakening the next morning. But the experience proved profitable, for I got a lesson in what it means to deliver AMAZING customer service. And when you're a relationship sales guy, customer service means everything. Billy came out and did the job for hundreds less than the dealership would have. His sidekick Ahmen, answered the phone on the first ring, and they were at my house, with a discounted peice of glass, within 2 hrs. The job was done quickly and to my complete satisfaction. Before he left however, Billy was sure to remind me that his work was 100% guaranteed....period. Well, he followed through on his commitment Monday. My door lock, on the door he fixed, wasn't functioning. I took it to Kearny Mesa Acura and they said it would cost $400 to fix. I called Billy and we met at the dealership in less than 45 minutes. He had already discussed the problem with the Acura Technician and found a part that he could get for free. But here's the best part: he paid the $55 Acura wanted to charge me for taking the door panel off my car. So as you can see, these guys are men of their word. I never expected that they would go to these lengths to gurarantee my satisfaction. But what it all comes down to is character. Billy is a good business man and a GREAT person. Wow ,that's all i have to say people ! Billy is a very nice guy and he really knows his stuff when it comes to auto glass . I was not sure if i wanted some one besides the dealer to work on my car , so i called the dealer to get a quote on my windshield and I was shocked at how much it was for my car $1800 to $2100 for my 08 Lexus ES350 and then I would have to leave the car there with them for two days they would give me a loaner car but the price was not what I wanted to hear . So I told my husband and he said look on line for a glass company . So i did it was alot lower then the dealer, but I was still not happy using just some random glass company . I now have the best view, A very Clear View!!!! When I first called A Clear View Auto Glass, they BEAT the other quotes I'd gotten. Plus they were very local to me, in my neighborhood and were mobile for free. On the day they were coming, about an hour before appointment time, Bill called me and told me the windshield his distributor provided was warped and he would not install it. I thought: Great! Honesty and he's watching out for me. We arranged to have him come the next morning. Have to be honest - the next morning he didn't show up until almost noon, which made me a bit peeved. But straight off, Bill apologizes and makes me a great deal, to make up for the almost two days of waiting. He then proceeded to do a beautiful installation of a beautiful windshield. Clean, conscientious, friendly, very professional work with the best attitude in the world. Billy is the Man! I purchased a windshield for my WRX about 12 months ago and not only did Billy and his crew provide the best price, they took the time to seal it up right. Truly a professional that enjoys his work. I got chipped by a rock a couple weeks ago and went searching for Billy on Yelp because he indicated upon installation that he would fix cracks/chips as part of the warranty. I was shocked when I found his page and it was devoid of many of the positive recommendations that originally led me to call Billy. I asked Billy about the missing reviews when he came by my house today (on his day off) and he said that Yelp recently contacted him about advertising with them. Billy was such a great blessing to me when I made a quick trip to San Diego from LA. Long story short, my back window would not go back up and I was planning to head back to LA that evening. Billy, himself, repaired my window so that I didn't have to drive back to LA on the freeway with that one window down. The major blessing is that he repaired it FREE OF CHARGE, whereas if I would have gone to someone else they would have charged me to figure out the problem and to temporarily fix it for me to get back to LA. Billy was very personable, kind hearted, genuine, and extremely humorous which made my crisis less than such. I am extremely grateful to have been led to Billy. They could not have been better. Billy and Abel met me at work and repaired my window quickly and with great care. They were able to come the same day I called and gave a better price than any other reputable place I spoke with. His experience with and love for the business really shows. But on top of being really friendly and funny and doing a great job with my windshield, when Billy noticed that my driver's side window had popped out of the track, leaving a relatively sizable gap between the window and the door, he said that he would be able to fix it for $40. After I told him I'm pretty scrapped for cash these days and didn't really want to spend money on an unnecessary repair he fixed the window for free! Now I don't get wet when I drive in the rain! My wife was driving on the 163 S and a rock hit and broke the driver side window. She was lucky she had tinted windows, otherwise the glass would have hit her in the face since she was traveling at 60+ mph. We called a few places and then talked to Billy at A Clear View Auto Glass. I accidentally cracked my gf's windshield from the inside, and it spidered through the whole thing. so we shopped around, came across clearview auto glass, called up Billy and he got detailed with it and quoted me 175 for the replacement and a free rock chip repair. I needed 2 windshields replaced on a couple of German cars; one car over 30 years old. I knew the parts would be expensive (German cars ... Eeesh!) so I was prepared for a BIG bill. Not so! I called Billy at A Clear View Auto Glass and was really surprised at the bid amount. When he said he'd give me additional savings for working on two cars, my response was "I will not say no to that!" Billy showed up punctually, got right to work, and did a great job. The difference really is clear with A Clear View Auto Glass. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Billy, he personally fixed the chip in my windshield. He is an extremely optimistic, joyous individual who is an artisan at what he does. He said it'd take him about 10 minutes to repair my windshield, but it felt closer to 5. I have been meaning to write a review on these guys. I recently had my car broken into and as a result of that my front passenger side window was smashed and there was glass every where. After calling multiple places, including this one, and trying to find the best price, it turned out to be these guys! They offered half the price that other companies were offering, and a warranty. Although communication was a little tough, these guys drove all the way around San Diego county to find the glass for my car and met up with me in north county. Not to mention they are hilarious and fixed my rear view mirror, no charge. read more

So... a rock hit my windshield.. then it started to run. i went on google and found A Clear View Auto Glass as well as like 4 other places. I requested info from all of them and A clear View was the only one who called me back.. and they called back within about 2 hours. i was amazed. well they said they could repair it at my residence and the total cost would only be $223 including tax. they only took about 30 min to repair my windshield and to repair my husbands. outstanding work, friendly guys and great price! Billy and his assistant were awesome. He came straight out to my home, after I shattered my windshield trying to put a new wiper blade on!! He was professional, courteous and had a great sense of humor and really knew what he was doing. The entire job was done in less than half an hour, looks great, and works great in all this rain we've had.....plus and most importantly he charged MUCH less than my mechanic would have. Cracked windshields - 3 of 'em - estimates were around 240-280 dollars per car. My wife's Altima, son's Camry and his wife's Toyota Fit had all suffered road related cracked windshields since the rains started. A Clear View quoted $500 for all three cars, came to our house and did the work in less than 90 minutes. Lifetime warranty on materials and workmanship plus a free rock strike repair (chip) - call Bill Soloman for a quote if you need this service. Before giving the details of my visit, I'd like to provide 1 paragraph of context first. In October of last year, I purchased a 2026 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy. Four days later, I got a crack over the A-pillar of my windshield that spread and required a new windshield. Because the vehicle was so new, I could only replace the windshield at Hyundai. It took me 6 weeks, more than 40 phone calls and 3 in-person visits to 4 Hyundai dealers to get it replaced. The part WAS available, but Hyundai's service departments no longer answer their phones with people. It was a horrible, frustrating experience. So when I got a ship in the replacement windshield less than 7 months later, I was terrified of needing to go back to Hyundai. I immediately called a few glass shops about crack repairs. I didn't mention I had insurance, because I wanted to see who would be the fairest priced. Sam offered me both the best price, and the best response over the phone "I'll try to save your windshield." The chip was not in a great location (just over the dashboard) and the crack had already begun to spread, so it was a tough repair. When I arrived, Sam took time to explain the process to me, as well as any possible risks. He didn't obligate me to proceed, he gave me the option to do so with full disclosure. He mentioned that some people don't like this approach - they would prefer to just be told "everything will be OK." I understand that, but I will say that personally I MUCH prefer being given the accurate information and then having the opportunity to make my own decision with no pressure. Obviously, I proceeded with the repair despite the risks, since NOT doing the repair would have just guaranteed that I needed a replacement. When the repair was complete, it looked great. The crack was barely visible (an unexpected but happy outcome for me), and it has now held for over a week of driving. It is clear to me that Sam takes pride in performing great service, at a fair price, to fully informed customers. I don't know what more you could ever ask for!

It was easy to get a quick appointment and the staff was very helpful. I arrived a few minutes before the appointment time and Juan came out to examine the damaged glass. He explained that he would replace the windshield and calibrate the Subaru Eyesight safety cameras and that it would be less then two hours. The waiting room was comfortable with free coffee and snacks. True to his word, he pulled the car around to the front a little ahead of the promised time and told me there wasn't any need for tape and that I was ready to go. I made the deductible payment and was on my way. Great service and a painless experience.
