Truly disappointing experience with Sherman and his crew. His mechanic attempted to figure out the electrical problem on our pickup truck and charged us on a hourly basis for his "expertise". He solves nothing and we picked up the car with the same issue with which it began. Sherman charged us regardless for that as well as the other mediocre repairs to the tune of $1800. Wasted money. We took the car to Rouse Auto and they figured out the wiring issue in 5 minutes and fixed it quickly and efficiently for $97. Autolab obviously needs some schooling for their "master" mechanic. read more

After reading a lot of good reviews about this place being very good at working on luxury cars such as audi bmw and benz, I figured that I want to have my bmw z4 serviced here and get an oil change. The staff is great and they are very accommodating. I love how Mr. Sherman is so informative about what needs to be done to the car and how urgent it is. My questions are adequately answered. As a satisfied customer, i even recommended auto lab to my girlfriend to have her bmw 320i's wheel alignment done there. I love how they have loaner cars available for the customers to use while their car is being serviced. I was about to give a five star note, however, there is one thing that i didnt like very much. I asked Mr. Sherman if they could top off my z4's antifreeze because it was running low and the light on the dashboard is turning on for a few mins after i start my car. He said OK. On my way back home when i started my car, the light was still turning on and i immediately called Mr. Sherman and asked him if my antifreeze was taken cared of because the light was still on. He said that he "believes" the mechanic topped it off and it could be a "sensor problem". I checked my antifreeze tank when i got home and apparently, the mechanic did not put any fluid in it. I didnt want to go through the hassle of doing the 50/50 or 60/40 mix and pouring the coolant fluid thats why i asked auto lab to do it for me but unfortunately, i did it myself in the end. This is fine with me and i hope something like this wont happen again. Despite all that, my over all experience was good and i would still recommend auto lab to the people who have automotive service needs. read more

This was my first experience with Auto Lab and I was happy with the transaction. I requested an appointment over the internet and Kevin called me within the hour and got me set up for the following day. Their price was very reasonable and they showed me exactly what problem they had found was. I waited for my car and it did take a little while but when additional work was going to be done, Kevin offered me a courtesy vehicle (which my daughter loved). I'm a newer customer to Auto Lab and couldn't be happier with the level of service I have been given. My previous mechanic closed up shop with no notice and I was left high and dry with a brake issue when a friend of mine recommended Sherman at Auto Lab. I gave him a call and he said to bring my truck in the following morning. I brought my truck in and one of his mechanics drove me to work. Sherman called me a few hours later to tell me the work that needed to be done (let's just say it was a LOT of work, I had been lax with the upkeep on more than just my brakes), but Sherman spent time with me going over the prices in detail and asked me what I wanted to do. I authorized him to do the work and called to check on the status of my truck a few hours later. His father told me it was on a test drive and they heard some rattling so they were figuring out what it was. I was really nervous since I didn't have any money left, but I was reassured it would be taken care of free of charge. And it was! My truck was ready early the next morning. A few weeks later Sherman called to see how my truck was running and I told him I noticed my truck was shuddering when I had it in reverse and the wheel turned. He told me to bring it in. They put some power steering fluid in and wouldn't charge me for the fluid or service. They want your repeat business, so they're not going to nickel and dime you. Rented a uhaul for a one way trip. Awful experience. Truck was dirty, wiper blades in bad shape, one headlight not working and tires needed air. But equally as bad, while looking for a number to call I noted the employee had written on the back of the contract "corner cap torn with a temporary aluminum tape repair. Customer accepts the risk of water damage." Who would accept that when they are putting a mattress and sofa in the truck. Yes I should have flipped and read the back but what honest person wouldn't tell you that. Hard to believe they would give that truck to anyone to drive in that condition, let alone charge them $600. read more

After hearing the 'brake warning' screech over the weekend, I went straight to Auto Lab Monday morning. Sherman took me from stress level 50 to about a 5 in a matter of hours. I decided to replace the tires since winter will be here eventually, and he had them ordered, received and installed by the end of the day. Amazing. I so appreciated the loaner so I didn't have to worry about getting a ride. And the service doesn't end when you walk out the door. There are so many perks (roadside assistance, towing, etc.) to having Auto Lab service your vehicle. I highly recommend their services, and their smiling faces! read more

I was in need of normal old age repairs on my vehicle and I knew big $. I shopped around and then received a referral to Auto Lab from a friend. My experience has been the best I could hope for. Up front, honest, detailed on what I need to fix, why and what could wait. I took this information to others (competitors in the area) and they were impressed so I had my work done here two times, again major work$ to fix all and get my older car back in good condition and safe. I am so pleased with everything I am telling my friends, which is not my nature. Give them a try, (free loaner by the way) and decide for yourself. In fact it is not my nature to take time to make a post like this but thinking of my 40 year experiences with care repair centers, this was important.
