A year long horrible experience . Salesman lied about several things . Sorta made up for a few of them but have the attitude like they are giving me things . They say they inspect the vehicles before and after sale and it's a blatant lie . My Jeep leaked and still did after two visits . Hard to have faith in a service department that can't fix or identify where an oil leak is coming from . Leak was so bad there is no way this thing was on a lift before sale . Salesman told me soft top was complete and he checked it himself . Crossbar was bent and sides were missing . Left a bad review about that and they replaced it with a used top that took weeks to get spoiling our Jeep vacation . Tired of typing but this was only the beginning . Only got worse from here and more broken promises . Not a trustworthy place to car shop read more

Highly Recommended Auto Lenders of Princeton. Would give them a 10 star review if I could. High quality cars and excellent Customer Service. Buying experience was pleasant and prices were very competitive. Car came with a 6 month, 6,000 mile warranty. I had a major and potentially costly issue with the suspension after my warranty ran out. Contacted Customer service via their customer portal and received a timely call back. Service Manager asked me to drop off the car to be evaluated. Long story short is that they are making the repairs at No Charge even though it is out of warranty. Note, I did not have to fight to get this done, they did this as a matter of Good Will and Customer service. Truly, a great place to buy a car as you will have peace of mind that you are getting a quality vehicle and excellent customer service. read more

Auto Lenders is a great environment to purchase a used car without the pressure you may find at other dealerships. Although, I did not end up buying a car from here, because I decided to go with a new car rather than used, I found the professionalism of the sales personnel outstanding. All the associates (floor sales to manager) were very helpful and laid back. The environment is one that lends itself well to shopping for cars in a relaxed manner without pushy or aggressive sales people that you may encounter at some car dealerships. You can test drive a car without a salesperson. Their inventory is quite vast. They can look up the make and model of the car you are looking for. And, if they don't have it in stock they can find it at one of their other Auto Lender locations in New Jersey and have it within a few days. There are 6 Auto Lender locations in total. If I was to buy a used car in the future, I would certainly go to Auto Lenders. read more

Update 17:30 5/29/19.... auto lenders service in lawrenceville had my Jeep for the day and took care of all the issues! They also provided me with a loaner vehicle while i waited for the repairs to be completed. I cannot express how much I appreciate the quick response and repairs. Update.... less than 30 minutes after my original review I was contacted by Auto Lenders and was assured all that can be done, will be done to try and remedy our situation. We went to auto lenders for a low pressure sales environment and left confused and unhappy with our purchase . They do not negotiate which is what is said upfront yet they double talk you into thinking they are negotiating with you. In fairness to them we were confused into thinking we had cut a deal and in the end paid exactly the quoted price ! So just go in knowing the price is the price and if you are unsure just leave because they don't negotiate just present the same deal different wording . They open the sales pitch that they only take the best of the best cars from the bank ...but ask for copy of carfax BEFORE you get your heart set on car . Car not properly detailed many scratches on outside , and a strange Oder was masked by a strong air freshener . My advice take your time!! Examine car carefully do NOT feel rushed . read more

I had an issue when I first bought the car. I was told to come in and they would fix it-on them. I brought my car to the service department and there was a plethora of issues. I was livid to say the least. They assured me they would fix it and gave me a rental. I had to rental for a little over a week. They fixed the problem. So far it's perfect. Looks much better. I was very pleased with how they handled the problem since I was so so upset to begin with. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars would be because the service department are not the kindest or most welcoming people. probably bring my car some place else to get serviced. But the sales department honored their word and did a great job thus far. I would recommend sales. read more

He informed my mom on the inventory and gave her lots of time and space to decide until she was comfortable making a buying decision. Once my mom made her decision, Scott Goldman (GM) helped my mom with the best financing option based on her retirement income. My mom's not into the internet, I'm writing this for her. I had an absolutely perfect experience buying my first car from Autolenders. I called in advance to lay out what I was looking for and they had a few cars picked out for me that met my requests. From there they let me test drive the cars alone and take as much time as I needed. Also, Russ my salesperson was super knowledgeable and easy to work with (highly recommended) - as was every one else at the dealership as I went through the buying process. If I could give less than 1 star I would. Same situation, called multiple times to get me in, looked at my trade tried to offer me $3000 less than what its kbb worth. They posted it for $6000 more than my trade value. The car i bought had 19k on it... within 2 weeks I had service lights come on for 2 different issues. Bring it in we will look at it, oh buy the way we don't offer loaner cars. Hmmm ok the fu**ing car i just bought is now broke (my only car) doesn't matter that its not even broken in yet... 12 days later. Still not fixed. Now my registration is expired (temp tag) out of state resident. They told me we don't reprint them if you get a ticket just bring it in. Are you f***ing kidding me. Michael Wimmer, you should really do something g about your Princeton location. Also, why do they throw away factory floor mats, and replace them with BS Autolenders mats... they are garbage, just another way to get you to spend money. Just finished up the other night getting a Jeep Patriot and it was such a great experience! While I was outside looking at the wide array of Jeeps, one of their employees came out to greet me! We had a great chat about the Patriot and then I headed inside to get everything set for my "Test Drive" that I arranged for in advance! That too was great! The Jeep Patriot I found online was actually at another location and they shipped it there for free! After the pressure free test drive (I have never been handed the keys for a test drive before and just been told to "Just drive around and enjoy yourself, we trust you!") I came back to get everything finalized! Russel was such a major help and got everything situated while also carrying fun conversation! I only gave a 1 star to the salesman name, Anthony. But the company it self and the manager was wonderful. As soon as we met with Anthony he was unprofessional, cocky and rude. I didn't think of requesting for another salesman but the way he talks to you is like you're dumb or why you come here in the first place. I normally don't purchase anything from someone that gives you an attitude but I needed a car and the car was perfect for me. Otherwise, the place and the manager was amazing. We Bought a car from the Princeton location about a month ago from Anthony. Was a very pleasant experience. Anthony was very patient while my wife and I took a while to select a vehicle. We ultimately chose a Jeep that had to be moved from another Autolenders location. Anthony arranged to have it there within a few hours. We went to lunch, returned and now are proud owners of a limited Jeep Cherokee. The entire staff was friendly. We brought the Jeep in for our first oil change (free!!) and met the service guys. I didn't realize that they service cars even if you didn't buy from them. We are now going to bring all of our vehicles there from now on. Happy we found them, definitely recommend! read more

I had been a satisfied patron of their service dept for several years, until this past May/June. I had a shifter issue with a manual transmission, and they spent 2 wks finding/ordering the part, it "not coming in, then it was the wrong part", you get the idea. They said they could not get the part for repair, PERIOD. I took my car back and realized they had not done the oil change which was the BASIC reason I brought the car there. After returning for the oil change I was told the shifter had somehow worked, but of course it had not been "fixed" and no one was sure it would last. I asked for the PART #, they said they'd get it for me. I called back about 4x & left msgs when I did not speak to a person. Finally I emailed and asked they send the info in an email. I WAS GHOSTED. SO VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I don't know what happened there but they were uncivil at times and not giving me the "supposed" part # was the last indication they had no clue what they were doing and lied to me the whole time. Especially because the problem did, apparently, fix itself. No thanks to them. read more

This place is truly phenomenal. I am a first time car buyer, no co-signer, and have been to a handful of dealerships who just ran my credit for fun and tried to sell me cars way above my price range. I saw a car I wanted online, within minutes they called me to confirm and have the car driven to my local auto lenders. Soon after, I had my salesman, Steve call to confirm a date and time. Luckily, my family knew Steve from previous dealerships and by fate we ran into him again. They claim that they had them but they are now nowhere to be found ! (how is that MY problem) I went there over 2 weeks ago and spoke to my salesman CONSTANTIN MEGHEREA- was unable to locate my second set but promised to be in touch the following day; never happened. They sure are 5X telephone calls per day when they want your 'deposit' but once it is over...nothing I have purchased 37 cars in 30 years from other dealers and NEVER experienced such apathy from a sales force ! Spoke to corporate office in Florida- JAY- pulled my name and had all info regarding my car(good for nothing as well as I have not heard from the dismissive attitude from HIM either) Haven't HEARD A WORD; not surprised. Place was immaculate. Everyone was friendly even though my 2 year old son was running thru the showroom! :) they resell leased cars. the leased cars they had financially backed (they are the bank in the lease) when the new car dealerships leased them out new. when the lease is up they take the best quality ones and resell them. I went to AutoLenders very skeptical since I would be purchasing a used car, and used car dealers generally have a negative reputation. I had a specific car in mind located at another location, and they were able to drive it up to Princeton for me to test drive by the next day. I wanted to make sure I wasn't getting a car with major problems and that if I did have issues, that they would be taken care of quickly. I worked with Russ, who made the process very easy and relaxed. There was no pressure to purchase and I was left to myself to test drive and sit in the car and look over every aspect of the car by myself at my own pace. I was provided with all the information I requested and needed. Ultimately, I left that night with my new car feeling extremely happy and comfortable, and even after the purchase, Russ was happy to continue answering questions and make sure everything was good with the car. Less than 60 days later, I grew tired of the purchase, simply because the driving experience just wasn't what I hoped it to be, and I started feeling a little buyers remorse. I returned to AutoLenders to discuss the situation (this time with Constantin since Russ was off) where they happily allowed me to trade back the car and put me in one that I loved at an even swap - Basically an even trade of keys.
