Not only did my car come back running great but it looked practically brand new because of how great the detailing came out. I believe I had the boss package detail which was around $150 but worth every penny. Car was showroom condition and smelled great inside. The repair costs were also very reasonable and cheaper then most other mechanic shops around the area. And I also checked out the used car side of The Carfather shop and ended up buying a cheaper car at a good deal with financing even though I didn't have the best credit. My overall experience here was really above expectations and the staff were straight forward with me and honest about all costs through the entire process. Perhaps he is still the owner on paper, none of my business. I believed that the new owners were, Julie and her husband. I did not go to GT to make friends, but high quality work. I called and the gentleman was very nice and his calm demeanor put me at ease. I was about 5 minutes away and they got me in quickly. The customer waiting area is spacious and very clean. There are magazines to read and they had on Drew Barrymore's Talk show. The price was very reasonable. I will make sure other service members know that this ecological option exists here, versus trying to drive around and add additional mileage just to burn off fuel.

The owner Neil is a nice guy and perhaps I expect too much from a used car dealer, but I recently…read morepurchased a 2010 Ford Mustang from him for a reasonable price and in decent condition. He told me his mechanic accross the street had totally checked it out and it was 100% with no issues. Well within a week of driving it the engine light was coming on and it needed a $600 fuel sensor from the dealer. To be fair Neil told me to bring the car back in and he would have his local mechanic look at it, but that would include driving it to him which is about 1.5 hours away and then having to come back later and pick it up and no guarantee he would cover whatever he found. Also why would anyone want to take a car back to a mechnic that overlooked something as simple as checking the codes? And would a local mechanic be able to figure out a code a larger shop could not that required taking it to the dealer? But the thing that irritated me was that the Firestone and then the dealer both found that there was a history of this issue in the car's computer going back and that the battery had been disconnected at points to reset the alarms versus fixing it. While I can't say that Neil or his mechanic did that, if his mechanic had truly checked the car out as reported one of the standard checks is to check the computer for any codes, he would have found error codes in the car's computer in spades.
