Somehow I lost my one and only key fob for my 2009 Prius. I called a highly reviewed locksmith in Berkeley near my job, but he couldn't get to it today, nor did he follow through as he said he would. The service was very reasonably priced, especially when compared to the estimates from other companies. The service took longer than anticipated because they needed to get a new ignition for my car, but they put a ton of extra time into getting everything fixed up over 2 days. They do frequently run late, but they call and let me know. I was very excited that my car didn't have a chipped key after all. I just wish there would have been a discount on my bill since the original estimate reflected the cost for a chipped key and the gentleman helping me gave me a spare key instead of taking off the extra cost. Called this morning and spoke to a very friendly representative who gave me a quote for a new key and remote. She informed me that a technician would be arriving within a hour. So, that would not happen, I took steps so I would not experience that , well last night it all failed and for the1st time in 6 years I got locked out of my condo.
