I actually almost went with Insta Tints because of their flexibility, but I thought using this Groupon would save me some money. In the end, I ended up paying practically the same price due to their hidden costs! When I arrived, they hit me with $35.47 in unexpected extra charges ($20 for 'quarter windows' and an outrageous $15.47 'shop supplies' fee). When I questioned these extra fees, the receptionist (Leah) looked back at the owner and made a nasty face behind my back, mocking me for simply asking about the price, before turning back to me with a fake professional attitude. To make matters worse, there was a tiny bit of leftover tint glue on one window. I had already spent hours cleaning the vast majority of it myself. Instead of showing any professional courtesy, the installer (Freddy) became extremely arrogant and demanded an extra $70 just to wipe it. When I declined, he literally told me: 'You don't want to pay for a professional service, so it's going to look like this.' They intentionally applied the new tint right over the residue, leaving permanent marks, and then even typed a petty note on my invoice to void my warranty. Avoid Hot Tint Speed & Sound at all costs."

It's $280 if you don't want the front windshield done. Speaking of which, the darkest they'll do for windshield is 45%. For no ceramic I believe it's $180 for five windows, addition $100 for the windshield which is always going to be ceramic regardless of if the rest of the car is ceramic. Not hard to find, wasn't too sure on where to park when I got there. If you knock, I don't believe anyone will answer lol so just walk right in. Okay this is not the place you'll receive the friendliest customer service. They're not mean or rude. Just not the most welcoming. But it's cool I'm here for tints not to make BFFs. I was told three hours but they actually got it done in half the time because an additional associate came in to help at the end of the day so that was great. No one wore mask and there's no waiting area so just keep that in mind. I knew I would be in and out and didn't plan on staying to wait so I was cool. Overall nice job. Tints are still "drying" which they said takes 2-3 weeks. There's a small bubble at the top of my front windshield but it's gradually gone down. They said they'd fix anything if it didn't completely go away at the end of the drying period. They also offer $20 lifetime warranty if you do anything to mess up your tints like scratch it or if your ring hits it.

Everyone was super nice and they didn't over charge me at all. I bought a used car recently, and honestly they could have up-sold me because I know nothing about cars, but they were very honest and very professional. I want to thank Ethan, the service manager, for taking the time out of his busy day to personally call me and explain the company's position regarding my review. I appreciate the effort to clarify the misunderstanding. According to Ethan, the business does not require payment upfront. Instead, the text we received was a pre-approval link meant to inform us of the potential cost following a diagnostic. Unfortunately, this wasn't clearly communicated during my original call with Lou. If he had mentioned that we'd receive a text requiring approval before any work could be done--and that payment would only be due after the diagnostic--I would not have left a one-star review. From a customer's perspective, receiving a $200+ link without prior explanation understandably creates the impression that payment is required in advance. This was a clear miscommunication, and I'm willing to chalk it up as such. That said, I strongly recommend the business makes this process more transparent in future calls. Customers should be clearly told: 1. They will receive a text with a pre-approval link. 2. No payment is due until after the diagnostic is complete. In today's climate, transparency is critical, and many customers--like myself--may feel uneasy approving charges before their vehicle has even been seen. While I still haven't had any work done here, I want to be fair. Ethan's call helped clarify the process, and for that reason, I'm updating my rating from 1 star to 3 stars. My intention has never been to tarnish this business--only to share my honest experience. I hope this feedback helps them improve communication with future customers and avoid similar misunderstandings. Thank you again.
