I figured that I either have a leak in my tire(s) or the air pressure sensor wasn't working. I relied on good old Yelp to find a shop nearby and came across Caton Auto. I dropped off my car and I always get a little uneasy at auto shops cause you feel like you're vulnerable but my experience was amazing. I checked in and waited in the lobby. They have free water, snacks and coffee. They came up to me shortly after and said that my sensor wasn't working and there was no pressure on getting it replaced. They said it would cost about $200 to fix and it actually was the price I was expecting if that was the issue. I just didn't want to pay that for a sensor. And the mechanic told me that he doesn't blame me. I asked how much it would be and he said nothing. They even adjusted my tire pressure since some were off due to filling it with air at the gas stations and they aren't the most accurate. I really wasn't expecting this kind of service and would come back to this place in the future for services to my vehicle. Awesome place!

In all honesty I wasn't to sure how it would go because it was a pain for me...but that's why there are amateurs and professionals. Communication was too notch and they showed up right on time as scheduled, they knocked the job out in 90 min to my satisfaction. Did I pay a nice chunk of change for labor Yes!, but for me it was worth it as I had failed time and time again. You don't pay at times for the time that was worked but for the experience they have. I would 100% book Devon again.

Detailed timeline: * I scheduled an appointment for my 2017 Polaris Slingshot. * I received a text confirmation for an 11:45 AM appointment and confirmed it the night before per instructions. * I arrived before the scheduled time and waited. * No one showed up at 11:45 AM. * I called multiple times but was only able to leave messages through an automated (AI) system. * About 30 minutes later, I received a message that my appointment was rescheduled to 12:45 PM, with instructions to confirm by pressing "1." I accepted and received confirmation. * No one showed up at 12:45 PM either. * I continued calling and leaving messages over the next couple of hours with no response. * I ultimately left around 3:00 PM after waiting several hours. * The first time I was contacted by a real person was moments after posting a review, and the call was argumentative rather than focused on resolving the issue. Additional context (prior service): * The week prior, I had them work on two different vehicles. * One vehicle was repaired correctly. * The second vehicle only worked for a couple of hours before the issue returned. * I planned to have that second vehicle looked at again during this scheduled visit. * During that prior service: * The technician arrived approximately 3 hours late. * Even though they knew in advance they would be replacing an oxygen sensor, they did not bring the proper tools and had to leave to purchase the correct socket before completing the job. * No test drive was performed afterward to verify the repair. Key issue: This is not about job authorization. It is about: * Missed appointments * Lack of communication * No ability to reach a human representative * Inconsistent service execution and preparation Conclusion: If you rely on timely service, proper preparation, and the ability to communicate with a real person, this was not my experience. Based on what happened, the only time I received a response was after posting a negative review, which shouldn't be necessary to get basic communication.

I had no idea what to expect but I just wanted good service for a decent price. My expectations were far exceeded. It is an amazing place to get your car fixed for a fantastic price. The employees at the front desk are phenominal and the mechanics are super fast and talented. I feel like I am part of a family there. Regardless of how long it has been since I have called, they always remember me and welcome my business. It is a smaller location on liberty road and it is a bit if a fast turn into the parking lot but the business itself is not hard to find at all. It is super easy to schedule an appointment online, by phone, or in person. There is a shuttle service if you need to go while your car is being worked on. I prefer to hang around and chat with the staff. Either way, I highly recommend this business and will continue to go myself!

Dorian Rowe, the greeter, the person who schedule my appointment & the most rudest of the staff. I called & scheduled my appointment for 12pm 6/8/26. I arrived 15 mins early. I inquired about an "estimated" timeframe. He responded with well, there's those 2 vehicles there on the lift that are in front of you so I'd say roughly 2 1/2 hours for your alignment & oil change. I say okay.@ 2:30 I called & asked for an update. He said we're almost done, give us 45 mins. I gave more than that. I returned at 5pm. My car had NOTHING DONE! I immediately asked why? His response was if you don't want to wait, you can take your car... I became upset & responded you got to be kidding me. Only to find out from a sitting customer that her appt was at 1pm for the same and they completed her car B4 mine. My car was driven out of the shop and parked. I had to go back in to ask why.. Dorian Rowe then said i thought you said no. I advised him that i NEVER told you that, please take my car back in & finish what i scheduled and asked for. 20 mins later after driving my truck back in, he says your done. So if it only took 20 mins to do a 4 wheel alignment & an oil change, why did i have to wait from 11:45 am to 6pm to have the services completed on my truck. Why was i 3rd in line and another customer informing me that her appt. was at 1pm and finished when i walked in at 5pm?? She was waiting for her keys and advised me that they were taking walk-ins while my truck was parked outside. I called and made a complaint via their corporate office and i will file a complaint with the BBB. I have not received such terrible, unapologetic, with non-accountability & unprofessional behavior in a long time. I work hard and definitely did not want to spend 280.00 for that kind of service. I live in Catonsville and pass several shops ( Mr. Tire, NTB, Sams) and other places i could have stopped at. Lesson learned.

Siwan ensured to explain every step and why certain things were required/recommended. Additionally, he ensured to show me how the cost was calculated (we all know car repairs can be pricey but he also makes sure that you know where your money is going!) I even received videos explaining the work being done on my car as it was done. Finally, the waiting area was very well-designed and comfortable. These added details were the cherry on top of an already amazing experience! Honestly one of the best experiences I have had. Unfortunately, that has been my experience more times than I'd like to admit. The first shop I called gave me a bad feeling right away based on their customer service, but I still made an appointment. Afterward, I checked their Yelp reviews and was shocked by how many negative ones they had. That didn't sit right with me, so I decided to get a second quote. I already had a good idea of what was wrong with my car based on past experience. When I called this shop, the difference was immediate. They were professional, respectful, and didn't argue with me or try to upsell me on unnecessary repairs. I specifically looked for negative reviews--and there were none. I dropped my car off early that morning, and they gave me a clear time estimate for when it would be ready. They even sent photos of the issue. While I didn't fully understand what I was looking at, the fact that they were transparent enough to share images--knowing I could easily research them--told me everything I needed to know about their honesty. I don't remember the technician's name, but they took great care of my foreign car, Lexi, and I'm beyond relieved not to be driving around with grinding rotors anymore. I truly appreciate their professionalism and the way they treated me as a customer. Every single mother needs a mechanic she can feel safe with--and I'm so grateful I found one.
