It took me over 12 weeks to get title, during which time my temp tags expired and I could not register my car in NM. July 17, 2017. The Dallas Better Business Bureau recently notified me that they have approved my complaint against One World Cars, and that it is now on file for public view. June 17, 2017. I have two active complaints for fraud and extortion with the Texas Attorney General (Complaint No: CGS-62983) and the Texas Motor Vehicle Division (Dealer No: P126266) against One World Cars and its owners Amad and Chin Ismail. The car I paid cash for was filthy , sold with a bad bearing, cracked brake hoses, worn-out tires, and dirty oil. I needed a car ASAP so I bought it. It took me 12 weeks to receive title for the 2007 Volvo XC vV70 car I paid Amad and Chin Ismail over $7,000 cash for. Even after my title had been returned to Amad and Chin because they used an incorrect mailing address , they still refused to deliver title until I agreed to allow them to keep a $90 overpayment I had mistakenly made on my cashier's check for the car. During the 6 weeks my title was lost in the mail, Chin refused to help and told me to apply for a lost title myself which I did, and received a letter 30 days later from MVD that stated they could not reissue "my" title since Chin and Amad had never put the title in my name. For 10 weeks after paying cash for the car, I was unable to register it. By the time the MVD forced Chin and Amad to convey title to me, my temp tag had been expired 30 days. Chin suggested in well-documented text messages that my alternative would be to drive from Santa Fe to Dallas and pick it up myself. All of the text and email messages conveyed to me regarding my purchase by One World Cars and its fraudulent owners Amad and Chin Ismail, have been saved and are available for view by request.

At just 6,000 miles, I experienced a serious issue with the truck. About a week ago, I was stopped at a red light and, when the light turned green, I pressed the accelerator but the truck wouldn't move. After a brief moment, it returned to normal, so I didn't think much of it. Then last night, while driving home from Walmart, the same thing happened again, except this time it was much worse. Multiple warning lights came on stating that several systems had malfunctioned, and the truck went into what appeared to be a reduced-power mode. I couldn't drive more than 50 MPH, and every time I pressed the accelerator, the truck would sputter, hesitate, or simply not respond with any power. In my opinion, that's a major safety concern, especially with the amount of traffic we deal with in the DFW area. What makes this even more frustrating is that this is a truck that cost close to $90,000. For a vehicle at that price point, having these kinds of major drivability and safety-related issues at only 6,000 miles is ridiculous and incredibly disappointing. I understand that defects can happen, but when you're spending nearly $90K on a premium truck, you expect both the vehicle and the support behind it to be significantly better. When I contacted the service department, I expected at least some sense of urgency. Instead, I was told my only option was to drop the truck off and wait approximately three days just for diagnostics because they are backed up. To make matters worse, my service advisor wasn't particularly friendly and showed very little concern about the situation, even after reviewing my vehicle information and seeing that multiple fault codes had been triggered. The dealership also had no loaner vehicles available, meaning I would be without transportation during the entire process. First impressions matter, and it's disappointing that I haven't even made it to my first scheduled service before having this kind of experience with the service department. While the sales team earned my business, the service experience has left me seriously questioning whether I'll return to this dealership for future maintenance or repairs. A great purchase experience means very little if the dealership isn't there for its customers when a serious problem arises.

Just took it in for an oil change and to have everything checked out before a little roadtrip and all is well. Without hesitation, from start to finish this was a 5 star experience. Buying a used car from a dealership was a new experience for us and we were really nervous. There are so many dealerships with terrible, just TERRIBLE, reviews. We know nothing about cars. How do ignorant people like us defend ourselves against slimy car salesmen? Our only hope is reviews. We followed the 5 star reviews to BBC Motorsports. They happened to have had the car we wanted at the time we needed it at a price we could afford. Jason was honest, upfront, patient with us, and kind.
