My in-laws who live locally let me drive their 2025 cx50 hybrid and I knew I had to have one. I walked in to the dealership on a random Tuesday and Drake greeted myself and my husband and happily agreed to show us the inventory and go over pricing. We were in a time crunch the first day stopping in so I searched the inventory online for the white exterior I wanted, and when it didn't pop up, I texted Drake who said he could do a dealer trade for the specific colorway I wanted. As soon as I said I was interested in proceeding, Drake went to work for me. The very next morning he texted me that my car was ready for me to pickup! It must have been fate because that was my birthday! Tate helped us close the deal because Drake's shift ended earlier than I was able to get there, but ultimately I was able to drive my new car home on my birthday. I noticed a warped all weather mat on the back seat at the time of purchase and was assured that it could be molded straight. When I got it home however, it was clear that something under the mat was uneven because it folded/warped each time the seat back was placed upright again. I took it in and despite me and my husband initially making bit of a scene, Baylor helped us get the underlying problem fixed and had his team reshape the mat so it looks brand new again. Thanks to the team at Nelson Mazda. I couldn't love my new car more.

Even though it was something small, they made me feel like a priority and handled everything with professionalism and kindness. Sarah was incredibly sweet and reached out to help, and Cody was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful during my service appointment. What meant the most to me was that no one made me feel like my concern was unimportant. They took the time to listen, address the issue, and ensure I was taken care of. Please know I've done my best to write this with respect and honesty, as I have email and phone records to support my claims. My experience with Alexander Automotive was so troubling that I felt that I need warn others. Throughout the process, I was lied to, and crucial information was deliberately withheld. There are several concerns that appeared throughout the process, such as speaking negatively about another dealership (Cool Springs Toyota), but I will focus on the two major issues that is intended to help others reconsider doing business with this dealer. The first major issue was the blatant lies about the condition of the truck. Allan, the GM, assured me the Toyota Tundra I was interested in was "immaculate" with no rust. However, an inspection by another Toyota dealer revealed severe rust problems, with parts suspiciously painted over to hide the damage. The inspector went as far to say that he himself would not buy this truck. The second major issue was the withholding information about recent severe damage to the truck. When I requested the vehicle history, the CarFax report provided by Alexander Automotive omitted a recent severe accident that caused structural damage. My independent vehicle history check revealed the truck had "severe damage to the structure" from an auction purchase just a month prior. This blatant omission is deceitful and unacceptable. While their communication was prompt and polite, their deceptive practices overshadow any positives. To anyone considering buying from Alexander Automotive: beware. The lack of transparency and dishonesty I experienced were shocking. If I had trusted them, it could have caused serious financial harm to my family. If you value your money and trust, shop elsewhere. Avoid Alexander Automotive at all costs.

I had spent approximately $5,000 on repairs that did not resolve the issue, and after only about 6,000 miles, I was once again being told I needed a new engine. From my perspective, I felt like I had wasted a lot of money. After posting my review, the new Service Manager, Wyatt, reached out to me personally. He listened to my concerns, treated me with respect, and never dismissed what I had experienced. More importantly, he took ownership of the situation even though he wasn't the manager when all of this originally happened. Wyatt worked with his technician to come up with a different repair approach. They performed Nissan's Dynamic Engine Cleaning procedure, replaced all four internal camshaft sprockets, installed new gaskets and related components, and worked with me on the cost. They even arranged transportation for me while the work was being completed. Most importantly, the van is now running properly. Customer service isn't about never making mistakes--it's about how a business responds when something goes wrong. Wyatt went above and beyond to restore my confidence, communicated with me throughout the process, and followed through on everything he said he would do. Thank you, Wyatt, for treating me fairly and working hard to earn back my trust. Because of your professionalism and commitment to making things right, I am updating my review to five stars.

We took it back to this dealership (I live 65 miles away) for oil changes and any other repairs needed. It has been a wonderful car. I wanted a different vehicle that would be easier to get my wheelchair in and out of instead of a deep trunk. I stopped in at Cool Springs on Tuesday, April 20 and ended up buying a 2026 Rogue. The financing was easy (Cameron was so helpful) but everyone else told me whatever they thought would get me out of their face. Service from the Salesperson and the Sales Manager was not only poor, it was practically non-existent. I drove back to Hohenwald in the dark on Hwy 65 not knowing how to use the cruise control because no one talked to me about it but I figured it all out in the daylight) When I got home, I discovered that the salesman had put my wheelchair in the back of the Rogue as well as a box containing everything else that had been in my Altima, all on top of the floor mats and the cargo floor protector. I had to take everything out so I could get at the floor mats. I am 80 years old and after I was finished, I was hot and out of breath. While looking in the Cargo area, I discovered there was no spare tire or jack. The car doesn't come with a spare tire. This is not the fault of the dealership. This is Nissan's decision. On my way home, if I had had a flat, and opened the back to discover I didn't have a spare, I would have been. I don't have triple "A" because I have had experience changing a flat. I would have been apoplectic standing on the side of Hwy 65, waiting for a tow truck. Next day, on a phone call, the salesman told me that one man had called him terribly angry because he found out about the no spare tire the hard way. Shouldn't this have let him know that he should tell buyers about it. The sales manager tried to convince me that I had something better, a "Tire Repair Kit" so I could put a plug in the hole and the tire would be ready to go again. The repair kit doesn't come with air and if the hole were on the bottom where the tire meets the road, how would I see it. I would have to jack the car up but, I didn't have a jack either. Answer, a tow truck, an expensive alternative. The sales manager told me another lie about one of the charges on the bill ($1,495.) which I later learned was to pay for the FREE oil changes for 45,000 miles or 48 months that I would receive. Next day I had buyer's remorse and I drove back to the dealership to share my thoughts on my experience. As I said, Cameron Newton helped me get stuff straightened out but I sure wished I had not let my 2012 Altima go.

Both times I would receive several text reminders to make sure I'm on time. Both appointments I was on time. And both appointments I ended up waiting 2 hours or more to get my car in. Genesis @ Cool Springs certainly does not value their customers or their customers' time. When they realized they couldn't honor the appointment, the decent thing would have been to call or text me. And when I asked why the over 2 hour delay, they act like I'm inconveniencing them. This is inexcusable.
