The owner of Auto Pros Repair, Mr Cuong Lu, is a Honda and Acura specialist. He is very honest and reliable. My parents have been going to him for their car-needs for as long as his business has been opened. We don't usually bring my car here cause I have a Hybrid, and they're annoying sensitive... But recently I was having some Brake issues and we took it in. Apparently my brakes are all worn out... when Metro Honda told me fairly recently (as a part of my service) that my breaks were fine. How shady!! Mr. Lu is really nice!! He even told my dad to run up the street to the dealer to pick up the parts if we wanted to save some money!! After we brought the parts back, it only took him about another hour to finish up my car. There's no way a dealer would ever be that quick even when they have the parts readily available. The only down side is that he only accepts CASH or CHECKS (no credit cards). This wouldn't work out if you were low on funds... But if that isn't a problem for you, this place is the place to go to if you want some reliable and honest work. read more

To echo previous reviews of this establishment, Auto Pros most definitely is a top-notch shop for the simple fact that Jim the Mechanic is Da' Man. He's a veteran mechanic who specializes in Japanese brands, but can handle most any mechanical issue, to include hybrid models. If I'm not mistaken, he is Toyota and Honda trained. Jim recently did an engine overhaul on an old car I'm restoring, and he gave me -- as always -- an honest assessment and kept me informed along the way. He'll do whatever it takes to get the job done and done right. He also looks beyond the surface when it comes to fixing your car; he notices the "small things" that can eventually become big problems. I've been coming to Jim for my major automotive repairs for as long as I've owned a car.... However, since I now have to drive 20+ miles to get to Jim's shop, I only journey to his spot for major repairs and work. (I would come more often if I lived closer.) However, do know know Jim can fix anything, from the minor to the major. When it comes to repairs and older model vehicles, Jim has an extensive network of parts distributors, junk yards, repair shops, etc. who seem to be able to track down any part you need! Also -- Don't hold Jim's thick Asian accent against him -- he knows his stuff when it comes to cars. He speaks Viet, Mandarin, Cantonese, English, and heaven knows what else. Bottom line: Come to Jim to get your car fixed, especially if it's a major issue, and you can rest assured it gets done right. The owner/auto technician is very hard-working and earnest. You can be quoted before any of the work is done and he will honor it regardless of any extraneous or unforeseen variables. He works out of leisure-not necessity-on the weekend. He will turn down businesses when he is fulled-up. I brought it in- the Saturday before- around 9:00 AM, but the garage was full so I made an appointment for this week and showed up at 8:30 AM on a Saturday. My car was making a strange sound and all those "complimentary checks" and "Brake Inspections" didn't yield any results elsewhere. Most places recommended I change my brake pads even with 30% left. He was able to find a slight warp in the original rotors just behind the large brake calipers. He showed it to me and I agreed to let him resurface and fix the rotors and changed all 4 brakes. Everything was done the same day and I don't get any more random squeaks or unbalanced braking. I am back to my safe triple digit driving. Cool. read more

This is the best mechanic I have ever had work for me. I have been going to Jim for almost 4 years and he has never let me down. He is an honest man and has great service although his English isn't that great you can tell that he will not screw you over and is only looking out for you and your car. He runs the shop by himself and his wife is his assistant. This is a very family oriented shop and they are very very friendly. The prices are decent but he does guarantee the best parts which are original. Overall if you are looking for honest mechanic that will get the job done and take care of your car this is the guy you were looking for, also make sure to get his cell number because sometimes he may not be at the shop right at opening time so it would be best to schedule an appointment with him. read more

I want to tell everyone don't go here. So my dad got his oil done here. They told him oil change include new oil filter. Now he's getting his oil change at a different place. They told him the oil filter hadn't been change and the screw is all messed up from this place. ( His car is new and his first oil change was here). Nothing is wrong with his car I'm just mad that they lied. They lied about a simple oil filter image if it's something big that can cause an accident. read more

My review is LONG overdue. I came here back in March to have my Kia brakes done. I was leaving out of town for the weekend and that afternoon I realized my brakes were making such a nasty sound. I only had 3hours to get them fixed and everyone was near closing. My dad found this place and Jim was so kind & awesome! He couldn't find a place to deliver my brake pads anywhere! (Due to the time) finally he told me I was gonna have to leave my car there and I could get it back the next day. However I was leaving out of town and wouldn't be back, he called one last place and they had it! His sweet wife said she would go and pick them up for me. Jim closed @ 5 and the time was already 5:15. He stayed and fixed up my car for me. He added oil and even added air to my tires! So I've come here 3 separate times and each experience was better than the other! Yesterday I called and asked how muh new rotors would cost for my infinity G35, he told me $200 for everything, two rotors and labor! I checked with Nissan and they wanted to charge me 175 per rotor. The price is great and you can't really beat it and the same day service was a awesome place. I defiantly recommend calling them for a quote! read more
