I called the manager and he stated the coins must have accidentally been sucked up in the vacuum, which could have only happened if the little drawer was pulled open and the hose stuck into it. They also forgot to clean the headlights. Like I said, they did a great job cleaning and waxing, but stealing change? That is not acceptable and I will advise people not to go there.

Here's my deal…read more I called to make an appointment to get my car detailed after seeing the yelp deal for 50% off the Ultimate Detail. I told him I had the coupon, what my car was and when I'd bring it. He told me it would take 2 hours-no kids, pretty clean car. I gathered my ride, planned the pickup time (I had to be at court later), and dropped it then. First off, when you go to the garage, it's not entirely clear where to pull it in (across from Jimmy Johns, "Reserved" entrance). Found that, but then I didn't know how to open the gate. I called Rocky at the Wash, but was holding up all the traffic. You have to push the button and the operator will open it. Ok, that's done. I get there but the owner, Rocky, wasn't there. I left my keys in the drop box, assuming he knew the appointment. Fast forward 2 hours. When I called, he said it would be ready at 11:45. After getting my ride to take me up there again, I hand the coupon for a DETAIL over, "that'll be $12.50", "huh?", and turns out all they actually did was wash the outside. What?! Called my ride, he turned around and came back to get me. I wasn't going to miss this opportunity for a good detail! I called again at 3:30 and he said I could come get the car. After hanging out at Starbucks for a while, I headed over. They insisted it was ready. Check out the photos, was it ready? $125 detail job ready? I planned my whole day around this, as I don't work downtown. The outside wash/wax gets a 4.5/5. There were still very dirty areas related to the outside but they were inside doors. But this is an expensive detail! Wax job was lovely, however. The inside left a lot to be desired. Mud was still in a few spots on the seats (when I got home I wiped it off with a cloth...), dirty cup holders, dirty door handle, dirty glove box, etc etc etc. See photos. Who would pay $125 for this? Not me. I'll be back to my regular General Grant Car Wash for a $20 wash/wipe and splurge on the $50 express detail which is much better than this! Maybe I didn't leave it long enough, maybe because I had a coupon (I told him I was reviewing), maybe they didn't like my car or I didn't look rich enough (I have $$ to spend, folks). I have no idea. For those that work downtown, you might have a better relationship but new-comers, I'd go somewhere else.

I often drove to Waterways in Creve Couer just to find a decent car wash. Even then, I often had to ask for certain things to be addressed and wasn't totally satisfied. Because I was going out of town, I wanted a detailed car wash that addressed my habit of eating on the run. Do it yourself car vacuums never seem to have enough power to thoroughly vacuum a messy car. So, just this once I decided to take the recommendation and give Auto Spa a try...mainly because I was running out of time. The attendant was going over the different car wash prices when I asked, "Am I going to be pleased with your service? I am a very picky person!" His response was, "I guarantee you will be." While waiting for my vehicle I asked the person next to me if they were please with the service. His response was, "Oh yes, they do a great job" When finished and attendant waved me over, I was prepared to inspect vehicle and offer suggestions that would make me happy with the job done. I couldn't believe it! My three year old car looked brand new. Not a crumb on the floor, cup holders and compartments looked brand new and the attention to the inside as well as outside, impeccable!
