FYI; Yesterday I visited the Auto Spa in Fairview Heights IL. I had taken my vehicles there several times previously and was always happy with the results. Yesterday, though, I thoughtlessly left inside the car an envelope of cash on the console when I turned the vehicle over to them, remembering it only when it had started through the wash. The Auto Spa was the only stop that I made between the bank and home. When I got home, the cash was short. The vehicle was clean and shiny but someone on their staff is a thief. They didn't take the envelope because I'd have noticed that immediately, but they did help themselves to the contents. Yes, I was thoughtless in tempting someone. That does not excuse succumbing to temptation. Despite their good work cleaning the car, I will no longer be visiting that location. read more

My wife took her car for its first wash and left with a cracked windshield. When she took it back the manager claimed that the chip was already there and the heater fan caused the crack. A) there wasn't a chip there. B) if you are claiming you saw it before the wash and it's known that the heater blower causes crack maybe you should warn the customer. I was at work and couldn't go up there, but became she's a women he figured he could say anything. Ive done car sales for many years and seen a lot of rock chips and a random flying item would not put two perfect chips like that. Luckily we have windshield replacement insurance. At first when Auffenberg Ford suggested Auto Spa for a detailed car wash, I was skeptical. Other car washes in the Illinois area turned out to be less than successful. I often drove to Waterways in Creve Couer just to find a decent car wash. Even then, I often had to ask for certain things to be addressed and wasn't totally satisfied. Because I was going out of town, I wanted a detailed car wash that addressed my habit of eating on the run. Do it yourself car vacuums never seem to have enough power to thoroughly vacuum a messy car. So, just this once I decided to take the recommendation and give Auto Spa a try...mainly because I was running out of time. The attendant was going over the different car wash prices when I asked, "Am I going to be pleased with your service? I am a very picky person!" His response was, "I guarantee you will be." While waiting for my vehicle I asked the person next to me if they were please with the service. His response was, "Oh yes, they do a great job" When finished and attendant waved me over, I was prepared to inspect vehicle and offer suggestions that would make me happy with the job done. I couldn't believe it! My three year old car looked brand new. Not a crumb on the floor, cup holders and compartments looked brand new and the attention to the inside as well as outside, impeccable! I couldn't find anything that needed attention! So thank you Auto Spa! Your team of both guys and gals provided supreme service to this very satisfied customer. I visited Autospa 8/10/22. Worst decision ever! I only gave it one star because the system forced me to. I was notified while I sat inside that there had been an incident when my car went through the wash. A piece of the cloth was stuck under my luggage rack. The cloth was approximately 11 inches. The manager that day was baffled because we couldn't see how it was stuck. My car was intact and he kept stating that the owner sees this all the the time and he knows how the problem would be resolved. After trying to catch up with owner several times in person he finally called. He then asked that I bring my car in to have it removed because he (the owner) knew how. This was after two of the managers were scared to touch it knowing it would damage my vehicle. Feeling that he was in good faith I brought it by the shop on 8/15/22. He texted me and requested me to do so. So he drove my car off into the bay and brought it back with the cloth removed and damaged as well. He then proceeded to tell me to put adhesive or double sided tape on my car (that he damaged). I contacted him after he told me to have it looked at for corrective action and once he saw the price he (the owner) started back peddling and sending me pictures of my car stating it was damaged when I brought it. It clearly was not and the picture shows it. Such dishonesty and shows he is not a trustworthy business to support. I am taking this fraudulent action further. Please reach out if you have been scammed by this business owner as well. He damaged my vehicle with his hands after the initial accident. I have heard from others as well about their experiences. He should be ashamed for his actions against African American women. He (the owner) is dishonest and untrustworthy. Inbox me with your experience!!! We purchased a retired police explorer at an auction which was not cleaned prior to selling. We called Auto Spa immediately and got an appointment for that weekend. Drop off was quick and easy. They called within a few hours (we told them we were not in a rush) and we headed to pick it up. We were shocked at how great it looked! Eric walked me through every detail that they did! From the outside to the inside to under the hood, he explained it al! There was sticker residue from the police decals on the paint--Auto Spa removed the residue without damaging the paint. The inside of the car looked amazing! The seats, floor, door, dash, console, back seat, etc were all cleaned and polished. They cleaned spaces that I would have never thought to get--even under the hood! I highly recommend their professionalism and their care for customer satisfaction! ATTENTION::::: if you get your car wash here. Take all valuables with you. People will steal here as little as 1$!! This is the only reason I avoid this place, their other location you sit in the car while it gets washed. Anyways, I have been a loyal customer and spent thousands and thousands of dollars at both Auto Spa locations within the past 10+ years! I would always buy their gift cards because they always had a buy 4 get 1 wash free. Every time I go get a wash, if I didn't have one of my gift cards, I would purchase a new one because like I stated before, I've been getting my car washed here since forever!! They had renovated this location within the past few months. I decided to go get a wash on 7/6/18 and the kid that was at the machine said I was no longer able to use my gift card starting the beginning of July. Well it was 7/6/18 and it was still the beginning of July. I asked to speak to the manager and he told me that they weren't able to use the gift card anymore because they got rid of the machines. Well you're still able to look up online that there is still credit. He kept on telling me that there's no way they know there's money on it because they got rid of the machine and that they have told people they had 6 months to use it when they renovated. First off, it hasn't been 6 months since the completion of their renovation. Second of all, again I told him they are able to look it up. If I'm able to look it up online, he can too. Also, I get my car washed a few times a month and was never told this! By law, gift cards no longer have an expiration date That's the law! This was my place to go for car washes. I've recommend so many people to this place and now I will tell them to go elsewhere. I've never had an issue with this place until 7/6/18. I make this post with disappointment in a local detail shop Autospa. Last month before my trip to Chicago I had an oilchange and full detail done here, after noticing that they some how got liquid in my brand new headunit (forced in by an air gun) I went up there to see what they could do. After 15 minutes of an employee rubbing a cleaner on the screen (which obviously didn't work) he said it was possible that they did the damage, then after the 15 minutes he states it probably wasn't them and told me there was nothing they could do about it. In the awkward conversation with him next I said we'll it needs to be fixed, this wasn't my doing, and he continued to push off there was nothing that could be done. I kept asking to talk to the manager and was advised to call the next day. After 15-20 calls and messages that week and continued to be ignored he finally called me back. The owner was rude arrogant and down right upsetting. He told me I had done nothing but cause him trouble in the years I've been there. He also told me to go look at cheep headunits because he wasn't going to pay to replace my only 3 month old head unit, which I never asked him to do. His tone was rude and cruel pushing off any concern I had.I asked how I have been a bother to him and was ignored. I have recalled the only real problems were they broke a seat by moving it forward some how in my mom's old car, and threw away something I had purchased in a bag,(which both were resolved quickly) I pay to have the things done right, they were basic things normally, windows weren't cleaned or spots missed with vacuuming. After dropping of the recipts last week to his front desk lady (at this point he used her as a middle man to talk to me, she told me he would call the next day. No call for 3 days. I ended up calling and calling again for the refund of me paying for it to be fixed and shipped. I was told this morning to come by when they opened to get paid back. No sign of him. I was told he'd be in at 8:30 and he wasn't there I left at 915 after waiting for 45 minutes at this point because I had to work. I finally got paid hours later this the 5th time I've had to waste my time and gas to get the check to be told I am banned from there. I get it mistakes happen but don't treat your customers like trash when there's a problem. I've been very civil through this whole headache. It almost wasn't worth getting it fixed. So if you have any expensive items in your car you don't want ruined and then have to deal with the owner like I did, don't go here. It's just not worth it. read more

Love this place. Might be a bit more expensive but my car comes out looking nice. I pay a monthly membership and it's definitely worth it if I'm washing my car 2-3 times a week. They need to work on the billing issues though, I've had a few problems with them not billing me every month then I find out my sticker doesn't work. I hadn't seen any recent reviews but wanted to say that these guys are absolutely phenomenal! I took my SUV in for an interior detail. With a dog that sheds a lot and makes a big mess, I expected to see some residual hair that nobody has been able to totally get rid of. Was very impressed when the guy showed me the progress they had made---not one single hair! They were thorough and very detailed. And the price was much lower than other professional detailers. Overall they do a great job. I admit that my car was a mess and they did a good job cleaning it. I did upgrade to the best cleaning and interior clean. So my bill was $50.00 My problem was the workers standing in the bay smoking. I did ask that a non smoker detail my interior. The manager acted like I was nuts for requesting a non smoker. I don't know that I will be back simply because all the smokers standing in the bay smoking. I suggested that the smokers stay out of sight but i doubt that anyone really cared what I thought. They usually do a wonderful job cleaning my vehicle, though with the number of employees they have climbing into your vehicle at once, I've had a few inadvertent marks made from shoes, greasy rags, etc. Not a huge deal, just keep in mind it's a bunch of high school/college-aged kids who may not be as careful with your interior as you are! Call ahead if the weather isn't perfect outside. I've driven out there a few times to find them closed up because there are a few clouds on the horizon. read more

Good results for a good price. Keep in mind, I have three kids under 10 and two large dogs. This was my first time here and, overall, I was pleasantly surprised with my car. Now, the reason for 4 stars and not 5...After I left, I noticed a few spots that were obviously missed with the vacuum and I had to go to the car vacuum to get myself (only took $1, so it wasn't much). Also, the back seat handle missed the wipe down (see pictures). I would also suggest to the manager that they not allow their employees to smoke near the cars they are working on. I will make sure to let the manager know about that, it was just one guy and he was walking away - but for someone with allergies, that is too close for me. So the receptionist told me that he will be here in a few minutes, now we are going on 40 minutes. "Do not tell me to be here if you're not going to be here!" I am very very upset. My husband took my Durango to get cleaned while I was at work. We had some pills on the door for my son. They were told not to touch the pills at all. The staff said ok. When we get the truck back the pills were gone. We went back to see what happened after he picked me back up from work for them to tell me they got vacuumed up. The pills are very expensive and I am not happy with the situation at all. They never cleaned the other door at all. So I got half ass cleaning and now I have to pay out of pocket for his pills to be replaced. They did offer another car wash in place but I am very displeased read more
