So back in 2023 I got into a collision in my project 95 Honda Del Sol. At the time I didn't know where to take it or what to do with it. There was frame, bumper, hood and fender damage. It was a lost cause. I had it just sitting, it wasnt til 2025 when I was referred to Auto Refousing by JDM California. I took my Del Sol to Auto Refocusing and spoke to a Sebastian (great customer service from this guy) and he had my quote within 20-30min. He explained the game plan and told me they will get my Sol back to normal and they sure did! The car looked like it came out the dealership back in 95. They sanded her down to her bare bones, removed all damage/bumps, pulled and realigned to frame and got her looking brand new. I was beyond satisfied with the outcome. The attention to detail from this team at Auto Refocusing is insane. From fender alignment, to seals, to repainted faded trim, to the paint.. it just came out superb. The pictures serve no justice to the actual outcome. My brand new car got hit my a restaurant's dumpster during high winds. It had an extremely deep dent in the rear quarter panel & needed a new bumper. There was also a small dent in rear passenger door that required a full paint job on that side of my car. Auto Refocusing came highly recommended to me by the dealer where I purchased my car. In dealing thru the restaurant's insurance, I still got estimates from 3 places. Auto Refocusing had the best pricing of the 3 estimates. Even the insurance claims specialist said the entire quarter panel may need to be replaced since the dent was so bad. I had a great experience at Auto Refocusing. Right off the bat, what I appreciated was Gloria and how honest she was. I didn't feel like she was trying to up sell me on anything or that she was ripping me off. She appeared to be genuine and honest. When she gave me an appraisal, she offered options. Multiple ways to fix what I needed, and offered a more cost effective solution as well. I am grateful that she did that, because I was able to see which option would be best for me time wise and financially. I will say that Auto Refocusing prices were very fair. And everything was on schedule as discussed. I also was thankful for Gloria making sure that I received a discounted rate at the rental car place. That was very nice of her! My front end was pretty messed up from hitting a pole (I know embarrassing lol). So I needed a new bumper and fenders. Gloria quoted me and there were no hidden surprises or extra charges. Yelp removed my initial review of this establishment do-in-part because I listed her name in which she complained to Yelp thus I re-posted with the changes to reflect that. She is NOT telling the truth. Their establishment used a glue that completely adhered to the paint and chrome trim. When the chrome trim was removed, the clearcoat came along with it. This was MJ's Autbody's doing. The establishment that removed the trip did not use proper method to remove the trim, but the simple fact remains is that MJ's "Mickey Mouse" installation of the glue was at their hands. Period. Now I tried to come to some sort of resolution with them, but they would not agree to it. I'm over 1.5 hours away, and they wanted me to return my vehicle; leave it there for numerous days; rent a vehicle at my cost; clearly was not going to go through it all over again. Should they have repaired my vehicle correctly the first time, I would not be FOREWARNING you of the poor services. Gloria is absolutely 100% untruthful here. They painted the bumpers and their 'sister-business' "MK Detail" agreed they were. But when I spoke to her over the phone she stated, "they don't even work for us." What a complete sham on her part. Very shameful way to conduct "business" Gloria - shameful. At the end of the day, my sole pupose is to make you aware of their absolutely poor customer service and quality of work. My experience is shared so that YOU don't have to go through a similar issues with this establishment. What Gloria also failed to mention is that she changed my appointment 3 seperate times when I agreed to give them another chance to make it right..saying, "we're swamped" After the 3rd attempt, I simply posted the truth as I know it to be true. Auto refocusing has made the car repaor process as easy and accomadatable as possible. I was recommended to them by ny dealer as anothe individuals truck cover flew off and damaged the back of my car. They walked through the process with me, guided me in the right direction with the other individual stepped in when he wouldn't work with me and helped me with the insurance process. Through out this roller coaster auto refocusing tried to allivate all the stress in any way they could within the process and helped close the gap with unsurance once we had to bring them into the picture. I went here because of my friend's referral, and it was the best decision I made. I have a red mini cooper that needed some body work after a "little accident" I had and they finished the car fast within 4 days even though there was like so many other cars there (I told them I needed my car as soon as possible). And when I first looked at my car, I was really surprised because it looked like a brand new car. They even washed out my wheels and everything and looked very sparkly/shiny. And ask for Marcos ( I think it was either Marcos or Marcus) and/or Gloria, they don't try to rip you off unlike the other body shop I got an estimate on my car (also said it will take 1-2 weeks -______- ).
