On New Year's Eve, last night, my 2011 automobile would not start. Valet parking at the restaurant we dined at, could not start the car nor could I. What had happened? Well as it turned out there was something malfunctioning with the "fob" but, the man Auto Rescue sent to help us was not equipped to deal with this problem. But that is not is fault. He was in fact very thoughtful, kind, compassionate and simply a nice person who genuinely seemed to care for my situation. He tried everything he could think of to stat my car and gave the situation his very best effort. But alas, this was beyond his capabilities. No problem at all. I just wanted to say my experience with Auto Rescue was a good one and my mechanical problem was simply beyond his capability to correct. My insurance Progressive dispatched Auto Rescue. They damaged my vehicle and took off when I called police to take the accident report. No one at Auto Rescue will acknowledge me when I call and always puts me on hold to avoid accountability. My insurance Progressive had to call me and take a report for the damages that Auto Rescue caused. The Auto Rescue guy didnt even know how to change a flat tire and dented in my truck really bad. The company still has not called me back so Progressive is paying for the damages because Auto Rescue doesnt take accountability for the damages they cause. Instead, they take off and leave you stranded. I had to buy my own tow truck and have my insurance reimburse me for it because Auto Rescue guy was completely irresponsible. Dont ever use Auto Rescue. Dont let your insurance Road Side Assistance policy sub contract Auto Rescue when you need assistance make sure its not Auto Rescue. read more

Worst roadside company you'll ever deal with. I called them for flat tire while i wasn't home and my sister gave him the keys and the stupid mechanic gave my car a jump start and left. When I called them back they said they get a lot of service calls and it was my responsibility to make sure the work performed was right. This is the second time they have made a mistake like this with me. I didn't have a choice to use them because progressive insurance has a contract with them and I had to go with the first available company...in simple words thy are totally UNPROFESSIONAL and I WOULDN'T recommend them to anyone. read more

Okay so y'all know I'm a YELPER and I only tell the TRUTH. Here is the good and the bad. The thing is I had to use them the other day. I called my Insurance company and they had no idea they said who would come. I asked them NOT to send AUTO RESCUE and sure enough insurance company sent AUTO RESCUE. So I immediately called Auto Rescue back and was just calling them to find out when, who was going to show up and if they were not there in the amount of time I would call my insurance company. I also stated, "I know that you people LIE about having drivers. You take calls without even having a driver in the area and you have to wait for them to contact you and then you dispatch after you TOLD insurance company you are able to do the job." They don't listen over at AUTO REscue and many of the people have crappy attitudes. BUT they did send out a driver who was in my area but it was in daytime and not much traffic. I was pleased with the service the driver was nice but I also had told him that I know about their service. So I would suggest that if people are so disappointed with this service then why don't you just write the insurance company and complain. Yelp is great too as we are all peers but it seems that Inman's Auto Rescue is HIT or MIss. I have no complaints at this time I think they did ok. But I hear the complaints from many and I think that we should all be aware of our car safety and always have a backup plan so we don't need to rely so much on these companies who do lowsy work. i had just popped my tire last night and yall were sent out to help me when yall got there the guy looked at my car and said he couldnt do anything to help me because i was on a incline and not on a safe place (i call bull) btw this was at 11 pm he aired up my spare and left my friends and i with no word of whats going on we ended up having to call my friends dad and wake him up to help us and when he got there he jacked my car up got the wheel off and the spare on and done with in ten minutes... so what ever you fucking do do not use this place they are lazy and are fucked up and they yelled at me because i was having a panic attack and was crying read more

This incident happened in Richardson, TX, on 26/Oct/2011. My car refused to start and I had to call my insurance (GEICO) who sent me the AutoRescue rep. I must say the person abused me. He called me to tell that he is waiting in the parking lot. I told him my car is in the visitor parking. His response was "If I'm not able to find your car, I'll have to go and another driver has to come". Well then I had to request him to drive down to visitor parking from the parking lot, which is like 50 metres. He asked me to start the ignition, I did it a few times. Then he mumbled something which I finally understood that the "battery is dead". He asked me the odometer reading. I had to switch on the battery to give him the odometer reading. When I did, he said (sadistically) "now you have killed your battery fully". He asked me to sign a sheet. When I asked what is my signature for, the response "so that I get paid". Well, ofcourse that made my day much worse. It is not the car battery dead that spoilt my mood, but this guy's behaviour towards me that entirely spoilt my evening. read more

Horrible company to work for, They do not take care of their drivers, they expected us to run 24/7 without any days off. They never paid for gas or paid for mileage. Staff is extremely unorganized and un-professional. Read other reviews and agree that they don't know how to answer phones, whenever i had a problem with a customer they never answered my call, or told me that i wasn't supposed to assist the customer. My insurance company called them for roadside assistance. It was 20 degrees outside and I needed to get into my car. I waited for TWO HOURS. When I called them to see why they weren't there yet when I was told they would be there in an hour they were incredibly rude and they said they wouldn't be coming at all. My insurance then contacted a different company and when I told the guy about what happened with this company, I hadn't even mentioned the name when he said "Auto Rescue?" He said I was lucky they didn't show up because they are known for ruining cars with their methods. Never use them. read more

I locked my keys in the car, so I called USAA for roadside assistance. The first text I got said they would be here by 1845 (less than an hour, so ok). At 1839 I got an automated phone call stating they would be at my location within 10 minutes. Help arrived at 1910... Not pleased. read more

We were in Houston during their last "cold front". We were getting ready to leave for a 6 hour drive returning to our home after an appointment at MD Anderson. When I started the car, the indicators came on for low tire pressure on all 4 tires. I called our roadside assistant provider to have someone come to improve the air pressure. I do not know the location that the service person came from. The response time was very good; however, when The representative for Inman Auto Rescue arrived it was a fella in him own pickup with a air compressor in the back "seat". It was not big enough to inflate the tires to the recommended pounds. Although the pressure was raised that I felt comfortable leaving, I felt the service provided was not up to par! DO NOT USE INMAN AUTO RESCUE!!!!!! I used my roadside assistance and Dan from Inman Auto Rescue was dispatched. NEVER even stopped at the house where my car was in the driveway. I was called to see if the service was completed stated it wasnt. While on the phone waiting for the customer service rep to come back I was called by Dan and told he couldn't change the tire because it was custom wheels. I said I had the lug nut lock tool. He said "Stupid B@@@@ you dont know anything about cars when you put custom rims on you can't use a standard spare to change it out with" I said the wheel changed not the car you take the wheel off put on the spare. "You're a dumb B@@@@ and hung up the phone on me. NEEDLESS to say I am blasting INMAN Auto Rescue HORRIBLE service on every social media I out there and all the websites that ask for review. It was HORRIBLE to have your employee Dan call a customer and curse them out. This is a terrible company inside and out, they seem to think there slick. the dispatchers are rude to the drivers and customers, which cause the drivers to be rude to customers and they don't respect anyone. They break several laws including the 30 min break law an for us to take FAB (FRESH AIR BREAKS 10-15 ONLY) then they certain dispatchers play favorites on drivers not realizing that actually playing with drivers money which opens up a legal situations/problems for the business. Then when a driver doesn't take a call they put the driver down or don't offer the driver any more calls, but from my understanding there contract say they have the right to refuse calls, and AR has the right not to send the calls but when you show them the reason your not sending calls it gives them a reason to seek a lawyer because Auto Rescue Violates there own Contract, the IC (INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS) must have labels that say Auto Rescue or Roadside assistant to receive calls well that kinda makes them an employee because IC's cant be forced to have labels also there invoices have AUTO RESCUE on them which also is another conflict of interest, there are so many conflicts that a driver and dispatcher could sue for read more

In Chicago, Inman's Auto Rescue's driver Johnny Novello went above and beyond the call of duty. He turned what could have been traumatic into merely inconvenient. He arrived sooner than promised, but I didn't have a spare and my tire was too damaged for the manufacturer-provided kit to do any good. Johnny called for a tow for me. I was by myself in an iffy neighborhood and every phone call left my cell phone's power closer and closer to dying, and evening turned into night, so I was very much on edge. Johnny waited until I got a call back with an ETA and then he waited some more, and then some more, and then some more. The tow truck took 4 hours and Johnny stayed with me except when he had to take a couple of quick calls. He let me use his phone to keep my husband informed, showed me pictures of his family, and drove me home with my groceries when the tow truck finally arrived, at least a couple of hours after his shift had ended. read more

I wish I could give this company negative stars! We were stranded with a flat tire on a very busy highway in St Louis from 10:30pm-12:00am. We waiting for almost 2 hours and they never showed up. The guy kept calling asking where we were. When I repeated exactly where we were multiple times he said I needed to give him some "things" around me that would help him find me. Really??? We were sitting on the side of the road with cars flying by at 70mph. We called our insurance company back and the "rescue" company. At one point the guy said he was 4 minutes away. From what??? It certainly wasn't us. We finally called the police, after two cars stopped with sketchy people that took off when they saw me get on the phone. The policeman came, blocked the lane with flairs and took care of the traffic while we changed the tire ourselves. The driver never came. I got a text asking if someone had arrived, I replied no. The next text said someone will call shortly to talk with us. That was 45 minutes ago. No one has called. But I will be making my own phone calls on Monday I promise that. State Farm will be notified in writing and I am sure they will refuse to use this joke of a company in the future. read more

the ETA time for the lock smith was 3:38pm in Addison park apt . i went down to my vehicle at 3:30 pm so i wont miss the person unlocking my truck. i see the white saturn drive passed me and look directly at me and kept going . my mother inlaw calles the company to see if the right wrecker is at the apartment multiple times . 30 minutes has went by and i still have not seen the white saturn drive by again(the apartment complex is half empty because it the middle of the day while everyone is at work and it only 4 main building and there ws only 2 silver dodge ram trucks in the entire complex ) . i finally see him again at 4:07pm ,ABOUT TO PASS ME AGAIN ! i waved him down and ask if he was suppose to be unlocking my truck . he then proceed asking me multiple times "if you want someone else to unlock your car then i can call someone else " i told him " no i just want you to unlock my car " and why do you keep asking me that do you not want to do your job " the he starting yelling " dont talk to me like im a child " and " everything is recorded " . i became so furious that i starting yelling back and then he as he was filling out the paper work still rambling on saying "kids these day have no respect .....kids need to learn to talk to grown men " . (im a grown women myself so i was very insulted when he kept referring to me as a "child/kid" ). he had the worst attitude I HAVE EVER CAME ACROSS OF IN MY LIFE !by time he got my door open its 4:37pm. when i ask for his name he yelled out "FATS" (which to me does not sound like a legit "legal" name ) so i proceed to get his licence number and he tried to run me over with his car but its a older white Saturn he as a 6 foot ish black man around late 30s maybe mid 40s yeas old . by the end of this horrible experience i do not ever want to use auto rescue again . the locksmith kept hollering that everything was recorded so i hope up listen and make the appropriate actions read more
