The reason we drove 68 miles one way to do business was 100% due to the Car Pro Show recommendation of Five Star Ford Carrollton. The buying experience started with Rocky Wall a little over a year ago. After I described exactly what I wanted, Mr. Wall did his due diligence and found 'our' truck on a freight car in Mesquite. Great buying experience. Fast forward to Jan, 2026, our truck developed a problem and would not leave our garage under its own power. I called the dealer and talked with Mr. Trey Russell, Mr. Garrett Tidman, and Mr. Will Miller. They, each one, reassured me that I would be taken care of! What an understatement! My Ford F150 broke down today, I called the service department multiple times and finally got a lady to answer the phone, she was by far the rudest person I ever spoke with, I explained what the issue with my truck was and that it sounded like the problem with an existing recall there is on my truck and she just went off on me that I was going to pay for all the repairs 100% out of my pocket and not theirs, she then continued to inform me they have no appointments available until later next month, what a terrible way to be treated from a so called 5 Star dealership. read more

This has been the worst new vehicle purchase I have experienced, with 5 recalls in the first 10K miles. I was left stranded in Frisco after they said the recall wasnt that important, and shouldn't effect me. To make things worse, the service department argued with me every time about getting the loaner vehicle that was part of my warranty agreement. We had a great experience with 5 Star Ford. Starting with our conversations over the phone with Adam. He was very detailed about the pricing. There were no surprise add-on's after we got to the dealership. Johnathon, from the service center, got some things changed out on our vehicle in record time, so we didn't have to make another 6 hour round trip appointment. Do not go to Sam packs five star ford or any other Sam pack dealership. The service dept works on commission so they will tell you something is wrong that is not wrong just to make more money. They will fix something under warranty but not completely so it breaks after the warranty is over. They have no morals or ethics and are complete liars. I recently purchased a 2023 Ford Bronco in December 2023. To my dismay, I discovered on a Sunday that my car battery was dead and needed replacement. Since Five Star Ford was closed, I had to use AAA to replace my battery. After verifying that my battery was covered under warranty, I contacted the Service Department at Five Star Ford. The first gentleman I spoke with informed me that there was nothing he could do to reimburse me and rushed me off the phone. I then contacted Ford customer service, provided them with the details of my experience and VIN information, and was told that I should be reimbursed. I was instructed by Ford's customer relations clerk to call the dealership (Five Star Ford) and request the battery's manufacturing information. I did this and spoke with a gentleman named Will, who told me he would get in contact with the Warranty Manager and call me back. Not sure if this is a real job or if he was also trying to rush me off the phone. I have yet to hear back from anyone. The whole experience has been incredibly disappointing. The lack of communication and customer service from Five Star Ford is unacceptable. I expected better from a dealership of this caliber. Very impressed by the sale staff. Unfortunately the service department is disappointing. Scheduled an appointment at 11:45 am for an oil change, tire rotation and a software recall. Checked in and was informed about 1.5 hour and will call if there is a problem. Did not receive any calls. Returned after 1.5 hours assuming everything is fine. It appeared nothing was done and nobody checked on status. Did not get out of there till 3 pm. After 2days. My oil change warning light came on. From that point on, they claimed they were taking it to a shop to have it repaired, but they never gave us a clear explanation of what actually happened--only that the truck was essentially a total loss. We waited for them to find us a replacement vehicle that met our specific criteria and fit within our budget. Now, more than a month later--on May 15, 2026--they still haven't found anything for us. Oh, sure, they *could* give us "another" truck, but they wanted an additional $1,000 for the down payment. I just went in to speak with them (Liliana and Germán--I'm certain about her name; as for the gentleman, I believe his name was something like "Germán") this Friday, May 15. I told them I want a refund of the down payment we made so that I can go find another vehicle somewhere else, because my husband needs a vehicle to get to work. Their service is absolutely terrible! They told me they would proceed, but said they wouldn't start the process until Monday, May 18, 2016. I will be sure to post an update on how this process unfolds. How disappointing!!!! I just want to say that I have a Ford Bronco Sport and I have used mobile service a lot and Jesus always comes to my house with a smile on his face and fully explains what is wrong and what he had to do to fix it. The last time he was out he had to replace the battery and he noticed that a screw was loose and that a couple of clips were missing and he had the inventory in his car to fix everything without coming back. Benny Beckham a salesman took my information, did a credit check and told me what kind of down payment I needed but yet could not tell me what kind of car until I produced the money. I need to know what kind of car before I waste my time and theirs. He also had me to,send a picture of my ID and didn't tell me he was going to a hard hit on my credit. First Terry Smith called, then he said his manager may call me with more questions but he's going to pass on the information. I don't like dealing with deceptive people and that's what I feel like they are. Don't try to deceive people to get a sale. Don't treat someone differently because you think they have no money. They've been messing around with my truck since December, almost a whole year. They clearly have no idea what they're doing. It took them a ridiculous 4 months just to take my truck in for repairs, and then they had the audacity to charge me for a loaner vehicle without even informing me. I've had to go back four times, each time being charged for the loaner without my knowledge. To top it off, when I finally got my truck back, it was filthy. It smelled so bad that it took me three days to get rid of the stench. I could continue listing all the issues I've had, but my advice to everyone is to steer clear of this service department and dealership. The way they treat customers is beyond unacceptable. Fri 6/2 I was in an accident, my car was not drivable. A reputable wrecker service in the area had recommended Sam Pack's Five Star Ford to me & my car was towed there. From the beginning, the communication was very poor. I called Roxanne for weekly updates, there were weeks I'd call 3 times, left voicemails & never received a call back. I was told a new date on multiple occasions that was never met. She also mentioned many times that she would put a reminder in her phone for a specific date to call me with an update, but that never happened. Fri 9/1 at 9:30am, Roxanne called to let me know my car was done & taken to get detailed. Out of the 3 months my car was in the shop this was the ONLY time she called me first. I had asked her to call me at least 2 days in advance so I can ask off work & plan travel arrangements since I lived 5 hours away. When I spoke to her Tues 8/29, she didn't think my car would be ready that week but would call me on Wed/Thurs to give me a better date, that didn't happen. I was able to get off early on Fri 9/1 & made travel arrangements but didn't make it to the shop until after they were closed. Sat 9/2 ISSUES BEGIN: When I got the shop, the center wheel cap logo was missing. Roxanne claimed she did a thorough inspection, obviously not. They found it & reinstalled. Issue resolved. I turned on my car & the tire pressure monitor was on. Front driver side tire was at 23psi & the front/rear passenger side tires were at 28psi. I asked her to fill them up since I had a 5 hour drive home. She was kind of fussy about it but had the service guy fill them up. She brought it back & the light was still on but had said that his gauge was at 32 psi & the sensors needed to recalibrate & it wouldn't do so until I drove for a bit. Fine. Issue resolved, so I thought. Left the body shop & I had 106 miles until empty, back in June when I left the car (not drivable), I had about 186 miles until empty. I understand the service guys needed to drive it to make sure the suspension & alignment passed. But 80 miles? Where else was my car driven? Went to eat lunch before getting on the road, & leaving the restaurant the sun was hitting the repaired spot really well & I noticed a TERRIBLE paint drip spot. The shop was already closed so I couldn't call. It's a Saturday & Labor Day weekend so they wouldn't be open again until Tues 9/5, I'll call then. Driving on the highway my tires finally recalibrate & the tire pressure monitor light turned off. Not even 5 minutes later the light turns back on for the front driver side tire & the PSI starts to drop. It dropped to 28psi then I hear a pop, I pulled over & the tire was at 1psi. The tire had a nail and a crack in it. These tires were completely fine before being in the hands of this shop. I put the spare on & drove to discount tire a few miles away. Not only was that tire done for it, the other front tire had a small crack in it also... add 2 hours, $560 and 2 new tires later I was finally on my way home. The car was very dusty on the interior, & there was trash all in it, only 1 piece of trash being mine. The day prior Roxanne told me it would be detailed but maybe they only washed the exterior. I don't know if that even happened because it looked super dirty. Sun 9/3, I took my car to my regular car wash & started inside near the trunk dusting it all out. My car has cream interior that was in PRISTINE condition before being left in the hands of this body shop. While dusting, I looked up & there are BLACK grease finger / hand prints all on the cream roof lining, from the lift gate all the way to the driver door. I'm going to have to spend good money at a professional detail shop to get those black grease stains out IF they comes out. On top of that, the tint on my back window was cut. It was not like that before. I will never recommend this body shop to anyone, they are non communicative, unprofessional, I felt like they took advantage of me, the repair job was crap. I'm extremely disappointed & to say that I'm frustrated is an extreme understatement. read more

I got several calls a day til we made our purchase of a new 2025 explorer, ( my husband was also planning on buying a new truck but am so glad we decided to see how it went with my mine first ) we waited for 6 hrs even though we had made an appt to buy this vehicle, the finance officer flew through the paperwork & just highlighted where to sign, never trust this guy! We bought extended warranty's that we didn't need & after getting home we called the guy in finance to cancel them .. he was very rude & actually lied to us about submitting them (I have all the emails) after 2 weeks I called to make sure it had been done when he informed me it could take 3 or 4 billing cycles, an outright lie , I found all this out by calling the warranty company myself, I did not know what else to do when he quit responding.. I did have the salesman reach out after I complained & was told someone would call me .. never happened.. I was also supposed to get 2 free oil changes on my ford pass (they would add the points for my purchase ) never happened .. here it is july. & I'm just now getting something done without their help at all! I wished they were competitive with other local ford dealer service prices when it comes to servicing my truck. If you value your time, sanity or more importantly your money, please, please, please DO NOT bring your vehicle here. We do not live in the area of this Ford Dealership but my husband works nearby. He took my expedition to work one day and it decided to break down and we had to have it towed in to the closest dealership. Understanding it was November 20th when we brought it in & it being Thanksgiving week I understood there might be a little wait for its return. Never did we think we wouldn't get our vehicle back for over a month!! Kevin Cunningham was our service advisor and unfortunately left a lot to be desired. Trying to get any updates were nearly impossible and when we did speak to him it was as quick as could be and of course over the time our vehicle was there, the price changed multiple times. Our vehicle was finally ready for pick up with a call from Kevin on Tuesday Dec. 19th. Due to our schedules, We picked up our vehicle on Thursday the 21st. We didn't even make it to the highway before the check engine light came back on and the car started vibrating badly on the drivers side, also a high air hose nose coming from under the hood. Made it home to pop the hood and discovered 2 red, filthy technician rags in the engine compartment. My car is now going to be towed to our Prosper Ford Dealership for repair, something Sam Pack Ford obviously couldn't get done during the MONTH that they had my vehicle. Obviously the technician was less than stellar, if he had taken the time to do a quick once over on the car he would have seen the rags he left behind and if he would have driven the vehicle for any amount of time after the "repair" he would have noticed the car was not ok. I honestly don't know what repairs were even necessary and what even went on with my vehicle while it was there. My out of pocket expenses were only part of my bill. The majority of work was covered under the extended warranty that I have. So who knows what they are getting paid for. All I know is that I paid $652.66 for a car that still isn't fixed. I can only speak for our experience in the service department but I would absolutely NEVER bring my car here again. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. It truly is all about money at places like this. Please be warned about this dealership and their service department. Save yourself time and take your vehicle somewhere else for repair & service.
