Seriously, I really hope there's negative star for this company! I have progressive as my insurance company, and when my car was dead I called progressive, they sent Auto Rescue as the road assistant. I was waiting outside of my vehicle, and 5 minutes after the scheduled time, the staff at Auto Rescue called me said they just finished with another customer, and told me to wait for another 10-15 minutes. Fine, I'll keep waiting. After waiting some time and not seeing anyone, I decided to call them, that's when I realized my phone was dead. I went back to changed the battery and called them and explained the situation, and found out they already left, the person who answered my call was really mad, that was 5 minutes after the time they said they'll come. Honestly, they kept me waiting for more than 30 minutes I didn't say anything, now they have the right to yell at me? Progressive staff called me immediately (I guess they yelled at the lady at Progressive too, since she sounds a little upset), she was really nice and apologized for the Auto Rescue's behavior, I don't think that's her problem, if Progressive has any fault in this case, that's the manager level who decided to cooperate with Auto Rescue. Now I'm waiting for another company Progressive just sent, hopefully this one is more professional. read more

I wish I didn't even have to give this company ONE star. Steer clear of this company at all costs! I have emergency roadside assistance through the Owner Advantage Rewards program that I received with my new Ford a few months ago. This morning I had a flat tire while driving to work and I called at 7:45am to request help. They did not arrive until 9:15am. In the hour and a half that I was on the side of the road, I watched another person's roadside assistance come and go. I am extremely livid at the lack of courtesy or care that this company showed - I received two ETA notifications, both saying that they were "about 10 minutes away", which was completely false. Thankfully I had just dropped my child off and I was able to get off the turnpike, or that could have been a very dangerous situation! I have had roadside assistance through other companies before and have always had a 15 to 20 minute response time. While I understand that that is not always the case, an hour and a half is EXTREMELY excessive, especially since traffic was moving very well and I was at a a large, well-known intersection. I have filed a complaint with Ford's program already as well, and will immediately be terminating my enrollment in their program as a result of this experience. read more

I was paired with this company through my insurance roadside assistance and they completely lied. Nobody ever showed up to help me and apparently they told my insurance company that someone did come to help and that it didn't work. That did not happen at all and I filed a formal complaint against this company through Geico. Also, they gave another excuse when i called them directly and they told me that they could not provide assistance to cars that were on the side of the road when it is literally called ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE. If i could give negative stars i would ( like the others). DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. My daughter had a flat on I35, eta was 60 minutes, after calling additional times, he arrived in 70 minutes. Had the manual and tool out for the spare tire but he used his power tool and stripped the bolt to release the tire. Left my daughter stranded and told her she needed to call a tow truck. I popped a tire and pulled off the highway and into a safe, empty lot. Someone borrowed my tire changing kit, so I had to call my insurance's roadside assistance. They scheduled an agent from Auto Rescue Solutions to help me. They called me and I explained where my car was located, in an empty lot. They called me back in 40 minutes to tell me that they weren't going to help anyone on a highway. I explained again that there was no traffic for them to be afraid of because, again, I was in an empty lot in a semi-rural area. No cars, just dirt. 20 minutes later and my insurance company calls me and tells me Auto Rescue Solutions chickened out and told them that I needed a tow. read more

The actual name of this place is Inman Auto Rescue per their auto texts notification of arrival time and survey completion requests. My car needed a jump start the night before thanksgiving and I was quoted a 44 min wait time which turned into a 2.5 hr wait time (including a tech's stop for food before arriving?!). The guy who came out approached my apt gate and then I buzzed him in, he offered for me to get in his car (hesitant at first, but honestly- I'm not going to walk side by side while you drive to get to back of my apt complex- so all good). He gave me a jump within 5min and I *thought* I was good to go after driving more than the recommended 30-40min. Anyway, my insurance dispatched this company to me again on the day after thanksgiving- only difference here is that it was raining and they quoted my 44min again- but actually made it in 30min. Here's my gripe on 2nd jump: this guy pulls up to my entry gate - it's OBVIOUSLY raining. I ask him if I can get in so we can drive to my car since I had to run down to the front in the rain to clearly meet him. This dude had 2 hands on the steering wheel "10 and 2" face forward and acted like I wasn't speaking to him. He didn't even bother to try moving any of the stuff he had in his messy car to accommodate me. But, like I said it's raining. For why he was being an ass and hesitant is beyond me. I won't draw conclusions, but he was so dry and rude. After the whole minute drive to my car- he jumped my car and then I had a few questions about my next best steps. I don't "speak car" which is clearly why I called them. BUT if you don't even have decency to answer a few questions or be condescending then WHY are you doing this job? 1st guy - courteous, but late. 2nd guy- ass but early. I wouldn't even be writing a review here if their survey was active. My 2nd jump was Friday- it's only 3 days later and *customer input* no longer matters. Locked keys in vehicle. Insurance company sent these fools. Guests have to be escorted on the premises as this is a federal building. Driver would not allow escort to ride in vehicle with him to 5th floor parking garage where vehicle was located. I needed a jump start on my car at 5:30pm today and so I called Auto Rescue. I called several times to confirm where the driver was, etc. Three times a driver was sent to me and none of them were successful!!!!! It is absolutely unacceptable to be running a business where I can't get a service done within a decent amount of time. It is now 9:30pm and I still didn't receive the service I requested. Every time I called to check the status, something absurd would happen- the first time they said it was a "miscommunication" between drivers and that they got confused about one of them driving out to me so neither of them came. So they "fixed" the problem and sent a new driver. I spoke to the new driver and he was 4 minutes away, so he claimed. He didn't make it, so I called the number again and they said his car broke down and a row truck was picking him up. AGAIN they set up a new driver to come complete the service I requested. When the third driver didn't make it on time, I called AGAIN and they said he got rear ended, so he's not going to make it out to me. THREE TIMES THE DRIVER NEVER MADE IT!!!!! This is incredibly, unprofessional and disappointing. I've been stranded in this area for FOUR HOURS and no one from the company has been able to help me!!!!!! The last conversation I had I spoke to a supervisor named "Gaby" and she was so unprofessional, rude, and not helpful what so ever. I explained every situation and she tried blaming it on me like it's my fault the drivers were never sent to me. She was so mean, and I was crying on the phone expressing my frustration and she did not sympathize!! When I asked her for her last name she said it's "none of my business" and she hung up on me!!!!!!!!!! I'm not sure what your idea of running this business is. I don't know what your mission or values are, but today I've witnessed pure and utter disgust with your business and I'm extremely frustrated. I was put in touch with this company through my insurance after getting a flat tire on a Friday afternoon. I was given a 20-25 minute ETA by the person on the phone. 45 minutes later no one had showed and no one was answering the phone. Even my insurance company tried calling them (with no luck) before reassigning me to another service. I had the exact same problem as Richard. My battery that I bought from these shysters last year in August failed this weekend. When I called to get it replaced, they told me that I had to wait until Monday! That's ridiculous! What the hell am I supposed to do with my car all weekend? Fortunately, I was able to get my car to start from the bad battery one last time, and I was able to drive it to Drivers Edge where they confirmed that the battery was bad, and sold me a new one. When I called Auto Rescue again, and told them that I ended up having to buy another battery, they acted as if they never told me I had to wait for Monday, and then suggested that I return the battery that I just bought. I told them no. I want a refund for the crappy battery that they sold me last year. Auto Rescue created the customer from hell this past weekend, and I will get my money back even if I have to take their sorry asses to court over it. Edit: I did get my money back after researching their past complaints with the Better Business Bureau. The owner of the company has been sued before for shady business practices, and this is not the first time that a customer has been screwed over when a battery has gone bad. You should avoid this company, and if they are sent to you by your roadside assistance company, you should make sure NOT to buy a battery from them. Get the name of the person who came out to you, and don't let them sell you anything. read more

The driver drove past me on the side of the road, did NOT stop and did NOT answer his cell when I called. He then reported that I was in too dangerous a place to be able to change the flat. How he knew this without even stopping to view the situation is beyond me. Pop A Lock came out and changed it with no problem. Awful company. My husband locked his keys in his car at the DFW airport and called Geico roadside assistance to dispatch help. The guy called and told my husband he didn't have a toll tag and that my husband would have to give him $2 for the airport toll. My husband then called Geico back and the dispatch told him that was unacceptable and that the guy would be there in 15 minutes. The guy then called my husband and told him he wasn't coming because my husband not having cash for HIS toll wasn't his problem and he needed to call Geico to send someone else. My car's tire went flat overnight after I, suspect, ran over a bolt from the evening before. Since I had road side assistance with GEICO, I called them who, in turn, called Auto Rescue out to assist. My car was in a two-car garage and when the person arrived, black guy in a silver small car - he didn't even give me his name, he said I had to pull the car out the garage because there wasn't enough space. I told him I preferred not to and that there was plenty of space. Mind you, this was a 2 car garage so basically a full car's worth of space on the side that needed the work. He then said, OK, he'll call a tow truck then. He didn't even get out of his car to see if there was enough space. Further, they were supposed to arrive in 50 minutes and didn't give me a call until 10 minutes after their scheduled time to tell me that it would be another 15 minutes. DEFINITELY avoid this company. I Called GEICO back and told them to send someone else. They ended up sending a guy from Pop-A-Lock over on 1200 Clay St who was there within 30 minutes, didn't raise any fuss, was very nice, and had the tire replaced with the spare and put the flat in the trunk so I could go get it fixed. Would avoid Auto Rescue like the plague, even if you have road side assistance! read more

This company is USELESS. They have had us waiting for over 3 hours. Have sent multiple drivers all of which coincidentally had "car accidents" during the waiting period so of course didn't show up. Called again and spoke to the supervisor Gaby and she was rude and unhelpful claiming that they didn't even have our requests in the system. AVOID this company completely. I have to say, i am not impressed with their service, or lack there of. I am presently stranded on the SRT waiting for someone to bring me a jack so i can change my tire. I helped a friend with his vehicle and my jack didn't make it back into my car. As I'm sitting in 100+ heat one of their vehicles stopped in front of mine with its emergency blinkers on, then drove away. Didn't attempt to step out and offer assistance or ask if i needed help. It would have cut time off of my exposure to this harsh weather and get me on my way quicker to work, but that's apparently none of their companies concern. I never heard of them before this moment, but rest assured everyone i know will know of this company now. Thank you for giving me something to focus on as i swelter in the sun. read more
