Took in my 2004 Ford F-150 to have seat repair done. This is an older truck I bought that had collapsed foam and torn did bolsters that are typical from years of the driver sliding in and out of the truck. I was planning on replacing the full seat upholstery on the driver side. After reviewing with the owner to estimate the work, he assured me that he could replace just a section of the fabric, rework the foam, perform a shampoo on the rest of it and save money. CONS: Well as far as organization goes, I'd say there wasn't much. My first impression was that this was a busy shop and that maybe there was a lack of communication? I really wasn't sure who was working there and who wasn't (no uniforms or shirts). I dropped off around lunch time on a Wednesday. My information was taken down on a spiral notebook (First name and CBR number) and I left wondering if I'd receive a call. I called a day later to find out the status anyway, and was told it was still being worked on and should be ready no later than Friday. There was certainly no feeling that I was being treated as a valuable customer but rather just a number. Giving them my name was no use, but rather saying "I'm the guy who's (what ever product you brought in) your working on" I called again on Friday as was told it should be ready in a couple of hours. I did receive a phone call when it was ready and picked up around noon. When I arrived to pick up my seat, there was one guy working in the shop and he had no idea what I was there for much less who I was. We both had to start searching the shop for my items. I found both seats (old and new) on my own and they were both located in separate places. PROS: I had made a few calls to other upholstery shops in town prior to doing business with these guys and they quoted me the lowest price. They were also close to my office so that's why I decided to give them my business. The quality of their work was good. They replicated my old seat and filled it with better quality foam which it what I wanted. So if you can get past all of the CONS as listed above in my opinion, then Auto Seat Cover will likely provide you with a good product at a decent price. My rating is more like a 3 1/2 star but since there isn't that option I'll bump it up to a 4 based on satisfaction of product alone. read more

My father was in the car business for many years and used them and we have even had armrests for an electric wheelchair recovered and everything turns out beautiful and perfectly matched, stitching and all! I selected this business because they had nothing but positive ratings. Sadly, I have to be the first to write one not so positive. The seat repair itself was fine, but they tore up the plastic door mouldings and scratched the interior door jam while getting the seat out. They also didn't hook up the electrical connections when they put the seat back in - I should have checked prior to leaving. I complained about the scratches and they did replace the molding for me. However, they did not repair the scratches to the paint. A body shop estimate for that repair was $342.00 (for a $135.00 seat repair). Although disappointed with the collateral damage, the seat repair itself was really good. read more
