First of all, 1996 F250's only have a cutout in the bumper for one lamp so weren't even built to support two. Secondly, Texas Department of Public Safety Section 20.18 SubSec. 2c specifically states "Only one lamp is required" to pass inspection. This was verified on the "What's Inspected" list for trucks from DPS as well. Though this shop gets high rating my first visit was not positive and probably won't go back. That's unfortunate because I had a few small items that needed fixed and thought I'd have them done here to support a local business.

Saturday he calls me to say it is the alternator but the root cause is the water pump, which is leaking and spraying the alternator. Monday night we picked it up - perfect, full explanation/demonstration of what he found, and reasonably priced work. We're not going anywhere else from here on out.

Despite Nesloney coming well recommended from a neighbor, they have since agreed that they will not be coming back here. I'd admonish every person reading this review to save yourself time, money, and a headache and just taking your vehicle somewhere that treats you with dignity and appreciates your business, and I can assure you that Nesloney Auto Repair is not it.

I pulled in to an auto repair shop down West Ave and asked them what they would charge to replace my starter and was quoted $385. ($295 for the part, $95 for labor) I left my car with them at 3pm and it was ready by 4:30pm. I told my family and friends about the gouging attempt by Nesloney Auto and it is no longer a business they or I would recommend. Buyer beware!!

I drove straight over, Adam at the desk took my information then got Alan. Alan stopped what he was doing, came over diagnosed the problem, did a pressure check, finding a crack in a Y hose. Alan got it done for $238.36. I can now drive back to New Mexico in peace. This may not be a fancy place, but they are honest mechanics with fair prices. We brought our vehicle in with multiple issues affecting multiple systems (A/C and brakes), and both were fully addressed and resolved, and we couldn't be happier with the outcome! Details of timelines, diagnostic findings, recommendations of work to be performed, and cost estimates were communicated clearly and professionally. When the A/C issue proved to be more complex and challenging than expected, they were frank and honest with us, and they honored their original estimate, even though they obviously spent significantly more labor than originally quoted. Long story short, I ended up entrusting my Mini to Tieken and they did a good job swapping my old brakes for new ones. They did it within a couple of hours and saved me time and money. Employees were friendly and informative. The only hiccup I have to report is that they seemed to struggle trying to reset the brake sensor on my dashboard, but the solution was one YouTube video tutorial away and I was able to do it by myself.
