Stay away if you can!!!!!! Left a mess in my car after CarPlay install. The CarPlay Module didn't work and left me with no audio sound in my car and after several visits, I decided to ask them to remove it. Asked for a refund and the manager and owner tried to sell me a different item to avoid giving me the refund. I refused and they said my refund should arrive in 1-2 business days. After a week and a half, I called the owner and he said he'll get back to me with a confirmation/ tracking number for my refund- he never called back. I then called my bank a few days later and the rep stated there was no request for a refund made by Auto sound and Security. The chase representative disputed the charge for me and told me I'll get my money within the week. I have never written a review, but I had to because this was such a horrible experience. I would give them zero stars if I could. Do not go here!!! read more

I went for a upgrade on my radio there was nothing wrong with my car or my original radio I brought them a tesla style radio from Phoenix audio where they suggested I get one from when you order this radio you have to give them your vin number and info on your car and take a picture of radio in dash to insure the correct system so in a process of installation they damaged my dashboard severely they got the radio to come on but they couldn't get my backup camera and my air conditioning working so while installing the radio they killed the battery so they tried to jump start the car and it wouldn't start and when they did get it to start it wouldn't cut off so they told me to come back tomorrow and they will fix it for free cuz they did the damage so the next day turned into weeks and then one day they call me saying that your car is in a shop in Brooklyn some where on Pickens avenue and they never ask me was it okay to send my car anywhere nor that I ever gave him any type of permission I thought they was fixing my car at they place so now I'm into a month and a half with no car and then I get a call saying your car is ready and the bill is $2500 John did not pay the bill so I call John and Sammy and they are getting very disrespectful saying they ain't paying nothing so at this point all I want is my car back so I call Brooklyn coming to find out it's not in Brooklyn where they told me it was at its a place in a total part of Brooklyn on Utica Ave and they telling me they don't except credit cards only cash so I call and Sammy and ask them to get my car and I will pay them since they take credit cards they are still being disrespectful and telling me no and they won't do it and they are the people who put me in this predicament and they even kept my money for a non-radio installation read more

I went to this location with issues opening my doors with my remotes. I was sold (2) new remotes for a total of $600. Immediately afterwards the car door would still not open. They figured out it was the antennae or the control module that was bad AFTERWARDS, so in essence the problem was not properly diagnosed in the first place!! I am stuck with two brand new remotes which I didn't need for $600, and still can't open the doors with them. So, I will end up going to the BMW dealer and likely spending another $600 or more to have the issue resolved. Lesson learned!! I will stick with going to the dealer, as they have the proper knowledge, professionalism, and expertise to understand the problem, and if I spend $600 the problem will be fixed. The young man who supposedly "works on BMWS" seemed very distracted and un-professional., not sure I would even want him working on my vehicle. Just got a new driver side window installed yesterday then went to the Auto Security spot in five towns. Sammy didn't want me to wait hours to get the one tint done because there was only one worker there, so he came out programmed my GPS and sent me to Jamaica spot at the gas station. Now the guy that installed my tint was cutting the tint on my window did not use some so called technology to cut the tint, instead he was using some type of blade. The other guy trying to learn how to install tints kept pointing out the installers errors. Then the tint installer goes inside and sit on my driver's seat and had the nerve to be cut pieces off the tint against my glass from the inside too. Then he starts smoothing it out with the flatting piece. Mind you he had black tint film hanging down past the window by my main controllers for everything. The younger dude keep pointing out things and the installer kept saying "PROFECTO" from the lighting inside the garage i couldn't see what that man did but once I pulled to the front of that entrance. I seen my right front rear window slumped down, cut in my brand new driver side window and the knob that controls my front rear view mirror out of place loose leaning down ward. The tint was raggedy looking. One dude tried to play it off knowing I came in with no tint on that window even Sammy knew my window was just installed. He gone say the scratch was on the window, I call that BS cause the window was being installed at 12 pm July 19, 2021 in brooklyn. There were no imperfections. He gone say for real... He told me to come back on Wednesday and they will fix everything. On my way back I went to show Sammy what happened. Sammy done sent me to the Jamaica shop and they damaged my controlling knob, driver window and tint. Mind you my son was sitting in the car. Yes, the installer messed up badly talking about "PROFECTO" Trying to post my receipt from the shop but its not allowing me to just yet. Keep it up it will be posted on other media sites. Terrific people, terrific price, terrific service. We needed to replace our Toyota Venza radio. Their price beat the others, but what closed the deal was that they had everything needed to install the system. The others said they would need to order the harness or some other part. When people have EVERYTHING they need, it speaks volumes about how committed they are to the product. We were told the installation would take about 2 hours, but in the end, it took 4 and a half hours. Some people might be turned off by this, but I work with machines all the time, and when things take longer than expected, it simply shows they are NOT cutting corners and they are tying to do the best possible job. When the job was complete, I thanked them for being thorough, and I told them to bill me for any unforeseen parts or labor. My offer was turned down, and we drove out with a beautiful new radio. Once again, I work on machinery every day, and I can't conceive of any one else doing as good a job as these people. read more

Bought a backup camera from Amazon to install into my car and was looking for a good mechanic to do the job and this was the place! They were professionals at mounting the cameras and pulling the wires and did it around 1 hour. However, there was some good things (pros) and bad things (cons) about this installation that led it to become a 4 -Star Review. Good Things (Pros): Service is fairly quick and they are experienced with doing installations with (in-dash systems, backup cameras, speakers, etc). Getting quotes are quick they pick up the phone without being put on hold. Was told there's a Lifetime Warranty (don't know if it's legit. Will leave updates in the near future) Bad Things (Cons): Charges Tax Make sure you PAY ATTENTION when the installation is going on. Make sure you KNOW some prior information on how this installation works. When they were installing the camera they were trying to skip a major step that is needed when installing backup cameras. You should connect the wires to the reverse trigger so when you put the car in reverse the backup camera should automatically turn on (just like a modern car). If I didn't monitor their job and they didn't connect to the reverse lights it would've been an absolute waste making me manually set the camera to work and it's basically obsolete if your in a rush to back out of the driveway and get to work! Overall, this is a great place to go to get car accessories installed. They do lots of stuff like tinting, bumpers, backup cams, speakers, dash cams, etc. I will recommend this place to many people just make sure you monitor the job taking place so you know you get the proper installation. read more

I Would give a zero rating if Yelp allowed. Spent like 7 hours for an installation that could be done within 3 hours. Many problems appear after installed a set of speakers. The man stated it was not his problem but the problem never appear but after installation. The speaker now still have sharp squeaky sound. I now have to find a more professional car audio shop to adjust the sound that my Focal speaker can have and fix the problem. read more

the guys are great did my tints nice the price wasn't bad either, overall good experience.(Update) About a year later my tints still look absolutely stunning...no funny bubbles or discoloration these guys did an excellent job...when i get my BMW in a few months i will try a windshield tint with 5%'s all around i'll show pics when it's all done by these guys. read more

Zero Stars Not a place where i will ever go again, even if their is no other installation shop. I went their got a quote for Installation only, after few days when i received all parts ,called Sammy to make sure he got time and will be able to do it and he said yeh come over. I was their with in 10 minutes. When i got their the suffering started,first of all he wasn't happy on his own quote, We didn't negotiated the price, i agreed on his price. my mistake i should have taken a written quote but thats ok i went ahead with his change of mind extra quote, the suffering didn't stopped their, soon after he starting mumbling "oh i have so many cars too busy , come tomorrow" and then i mentioned when i called you said come over will get it done and now come tomorrow , i am not free thats why I called to make sure that you can do it today. To which he said park on the side & wait , after 3 hours wait when he saw that i am not giving up and going away he started crying again that I can't do the full job today & the excuse was i wasn't aware that you wanted to install a rear view cam as well which was just a rubbish excuse because i mentioned it every time during the quote , when i Called and then when i came in & i did show him All the parts when i arrived, after all his excuses exhausted he started asking extra money . Anyway after so much wait and when according to him was my turn, he was still not willing to do both & was askin me to come back tomorrow for the other half job , seriously ?? Come back and wait again 3-4 hours ? Do you think i don't have anything else to do , i preferred not to take any of their services, they are not worth my money as that guy isn't honest or have respect for his customer, he is just a douche . So i will never recommend this place to anyone specially under that Sammy management, i feel bad for his staff who works hard and this guy run around and cheat people & want them pay more & more for stupid reasons. So I set up an appointment to have my head unit installed here. I called Sam the guy running the place and let him know I would be heading to the shop this week with all components needed for the install. The day of the install I contact him to let him know I'm en route with the audio equipment. I drop the car off and follow up several hours later for him to confirm he has several jobs and has yet to start on mine, yet I brought the car first thing in the am. He also went on to confirm the job will be $250 if he used all the parts I provided. He called back to say he would not be using all the parts and reprogramming the existing steering wheel controls. I confirmed the price would be less than $250 since he would not be using all the components I supplied. This is where he begins a long spiel about how he had to reprogram the unit and set it to the car, mind you he never confirmed the price would still be the same had he not used everything I provided. I'm very unhappy with the lack of transparency and for $50 doesn't seem honest, will not be going back. Good luck! read more

I highly insist you to avoid this place as much as you can, No one should ever go to this place, first i went there to put led lights, i was not aware my car was already equipped with led lights, then a short guy who is like a owner there convinced me to put led side lights, which he charged me 180 for 4 led bulbs, then he also convinced me to install remote start in my car, i did install the viper remote start as well, the total charge was 600, later i found out that guy had almost charged me the double the price which i thought i was getting a best deal, another day the remote start was malfunctioning then i had to go there again, that day i found out after they take your money they treat you like you were never there, i had to wait almost an hour to get that fixed. I felt terrible and pissed. There are so many other places who actually care for their customers. What actually turned me off is that i had to remove my tint lately so i thought i would give them another chance to see if i was wrong. But the guy thinks i am a new born kid and tried to charge me crazy money to peel out tint, later i did same job for 20 buck in different place. Learned from my own mistakes read more

Came in here to get a bunch of things done. I installed a rear-view camera, a Viper security system, an aux cable port, and got some tints done. I dropped the car off at around 2pm, and picked it up ready by 9pm, the same day. The staff is extremely courteous and great at what they do. Excellent Service. Tint started peeling so I went in to have it fixed. I asked for darker tint since it had to be replaced anyway and was charged $25 for the second window. I left and the next day realized the tint wasn't darker so I took it back in and it was replaced without any problems. Would highly recommend. read more

This is in regards to the queens location, I cannot speak for the Brooklyn Shop or for their tint work. I don't like to write bad reviews that affect small business. However this place is bad business when it comes to audio installation and customer service. Be warned most of the good reviews are probably from friends or for the BK shop. I voiced my displeasure with the service and inform Sam the "manager" in charge I would write a bad review if the situation wasn't rectified . His response was "ohh I'm scared" and "he doesn't care about reviews b/c he got his own customers". I have video as proof if owner wants to dispute. I had to bring in another guy to fix the problem they caused and had to front money for that. Now my locks don't work so I have to take it to another shop to get fixed. They had my car for 2 weeks and couldn't fix the problem. Luckily I had another car. any place that doesn't want to own up with messing up the job is not worth it. read more
