Reason why I am giving them a Yelp review because I believe this will help future customers to decide which shop/service they want to choose for their auto entertainment install. So, here is my experience, I bought a China android unit from Amazon and I called around for a estimated labor cost to install a head unit plus a back up camera. My decision ended up with Auto Spot because of the reasonable price of the labor. So made an appointment with SAL that week.(Highly suggest to make an appointment instead of walking in) 2-3 hours later my new head unit with back up camera installed I was very happy and satisfied customer! However, few days later I noticed there are no sounds coming out on my 4 rear speakers, so I called Sal and told him about the issue and he told me to bring it back so he can troubleshoot it.Fast forward, took my 2008 Toyota Sequoia back to the shop and boom, Sal fixed the sound for me. It was the faulty China android unit was the issue. SAL is definitely a professional with great customer service!! Auto Spot is the spot for your car entertainment needs! Been here a couple times now, once for just an oil change, once to fix a broken toggle for my gas door, and once for a headlight bulb change. The prices are very good, but the reason I keep coming back is actually because A. The quality of work is excellent, and B. They don't try and screw you over. When the dealer broke the plastic toggle switch for the door to my gas tank, Jerry was able to save me the $270 the dealer wanted for the part they broke, by just putting a screw through it. It took him maybe 5-10 minutes, and he charged me an absolutely fair price for the work. He could've tried to order the part, could've tried to charge me some ridiculous fee for it (I probably would've gone somewhere else), but instead he said "Hey man, I think I can fix this with a $2 screw. No guarantees for how long it lasts, but I think it'll work." That was four months ago, and his fix keeps working great. That's how I treat my customers at my own work, and that's how I want to be treated by the places I go to. I'd recommend these guys, and Jerry especially, to anybody in town. read more

Went in today for the first time, found it on Yelp. I have Kicker KS door speakers and tweeters in my 2 front doors, installed by another Audio Shop in temecula. Today driving to work I had to slam on the brakes, my right side passenger side door speaker all of the sudden starts sounding blown, really distorted. These speakers are only 7 months old, but I thought potentially I could have blown one out, I do listen to my music super loud... I take it into Auto Spot, the guy working the counter told me it could be blown, could be bad wires, could be a bad crossover. Now they could have EASILY told me the speaker was blown and I would have bought new speakers in a heart beat. I need my music for my commute, so blown speakers are no bueno. They tell me they found the problem, it'll take 15 minutes to fix, come back in and they tell me it was a bad crossover connection, charged me $20.00. Then he gave me some recommendations on what "he would do" to improve my overall sound (i also have 2 10" subs in the trunk)... All in all great experience, in & out in 30 minutes, only charged me $20.00 - I will 100% be going back to this place for some upgrades, and highly recommend going in there for honest, NO BS service.... and very fast! I did all of this on my 1 hour lunch break today. read more

I came to this place because they had a lot of reviews, mostly positive. They also were the cheapest and I specifically remember speaking to the guy on the phone and he quoted me $120. I wrote down $120 and compared it to the rest of my list, he was the cheapest and coincidentally the closest. I told him there was a deal on yelp for $100 worth of work for $80 and he said that he would honor it but don't buy it through Yelp because this way they keep more money. I should have known that if he was willing to do something shady like that, why am I special? Why would he treat me honestly? . I had them order the window and I came in early the next morning, they did get it done. Unfortunately I made a stupid mistake and did not ask for an estimate when I left the car like every single professional business would give you. He didn't offer me one, I thought it was odd but I take the blame for not insisting on getting a written estimate. Had I known there would be a bait and switch, I would slow it down and ask for paperwork. I later on learn that this is classic bait and switch, don't offer paperwork. When I came back he jumped the price from $120 to $160. I tried to argue but he said no he was correct and I need to check my notes... I did and I am correct. And then he proceeded to tell me that he's an honest guy and that he wouldn't cheat me. In my experience, honest people don't have to tell you they are honest. I told him that and he wouldn't give me eye contact but the whole time insisted that he was saying $160. He applied the $20 yelp special and I paid $144 total with tax. An extra $40 add-on won't break my bank, but it's about the morality here. Avoid places like this or if you're not going to avoid it... Insist on getting a written before you leave. If they're willing to cheat the platform that is hosting their business information, they're willing to cheat the individual. The other lesson is that if someone tells you they are honest, run. Honest people don't have to tell you they are honest. If you have any questions about this review or my experience feel free to message me, I'm happy to warn other customers about businesses like this. Best in the business hands down!! I needed my front windshield replaced for my '14 Pilot and they got it done quick. Called this past Tuesday and was told they didn't have any openings until next week but I asked if there was any way he could fit me in before Friday because I was road tripping to Vegas.
