Had my whole door smashed and they have done such a pristine job ! Not only was the work perfectly done but they really bent over backward to deal with all the paperwork and needs of the insurance. Allyson ( front desk and account representative) was calling us to remind us of the date, work status, drop off and pick up not only once but at many times, she always was courteous and respectful of our time. Johnny ( who I believe is in charge of the whole car body dept) was extremely descriptive of the work to do and I've never felt taking advantage of. PLEASE NOTE that I've gone to a previous body shop and they estimated the work to be done at DOUBLE the price and double the headache. I just picked up my car today and I can't say enough to describe how comfortable and at ease they made me feel after being beyond stressed out about getting into a car accident for the first time. From the very beginning John was beyond helpful. I was very stressed out from the accident but he helped me be at ease. I felt I was leaving my car in the best hands and even when there was more damage than you could see they still worked with me and gave me the best customer service. As far a COVID-19 measures, they are taking excellent measures. You do not have to go inside the shop as they will email you all the forms that you will need so you can fill out before you even get to the collision center. I brought my car here in early July following a fender bender which causes front end damage. They were incredibly responsive and quick to answer any questions or concerns that i had. They also have a convenient tracking system so you can check the status of your car online without having to call which i really appreciated. They also called directly to inform me of any updates such as delayed parts/etc. and we're flexible with when i could pick up my car. One inconvenience is that their card machine was down so i had to pay cash/check but they informed me ahead of time which was helpful. The best part is, not only did they fix the outside damage, they even cleaned the interior!! It was shiny and new like when i first got it :) overall i had a great experience here and while i hope no more damage comes to my car, if there is i'll definitely be returning here! read more

Brought my car here to be repaired around February of 2019 after I drove over a hidden dip too fast. Told me it would take around 2-3 weeks to repair. Didn't get my car until around 3 and half months later. I had to take it back again because the check engine light came on. Got that sorted finally. Then I went to Galpin Auto Sports to get a Y-Pipe installed. Turns out my exhaust system was missing some washers and complete bolts from the system. One of the exhaust mounts wasn't even on its hanger, so it was just hanging freely. Also the resonator was missing and a really pathetic excuse for a Y-Pipe was in it's place. They told me all the parts used were OEM. Obviously they lied. All these issues were found by the Ford dealership Do yourself a favor and choose a different body shop. read more

Recently had some collision repair/body work done here, and in short I was pretty impressed with the work done and their service. When I dropped my car off they were upfront with me about the extended time it would take to repair, since the shop was backed up. Luckily, it was completed well before this time. The body work that they done was pretty good, and the end result resembled what my car looked like before my accident. They also washed my car, cleaned the interior, and did some minor detailing-- all of which wasn't expected but thoroughly appreciated. In terms of service, the communication between myself and the staff was consistent. They sent me daily update emails and I was always able to get an update when I called during business hours. This is a shop I'd definitely recommend for repair work, and if it is in your insurance's network, I wouldn't think twice. It also seems like they have a relationship with a nearby Hertz rental car, so if that's something you need I think they can help you out. read more

I picked up my car over the weekend! I was so pleasantly surprised at how beautiful she looked! She honestly looked brand new! The guys really went above and beyond to put her into prestine condition. I mostly dealt with Eric through the time she was there. This place was awesome at fixing my car after it got broken into. They were who my insurance was contracted through, and even when my insurance tried to be shady about coverage of some of the damage, the mechanic, Eric, gave me honest answers and was very clear and transparent about what the damage was and what the insurance wouldn't cover and why and things he would recommend. I'm a hard sell on a lot of things, but Eric was upfront and honest with me about coverage issues and the body shop's role in it. He did a fantastic job and even buffed out some scratches I had on my car, free of charge, and I noticed it was clean and the tires even polished. Definitely would recommend for body work. read more

So this may be my third time reviewing Auto Tech Collision Center, but by a long shot, my most recent visit wasn't only my third time coming to the shop. LA is a dangerous place to drive around so I don't think a year has gone by yet where I haven't gotten dinged or bumped. Since coming here for the first time a little over 2.5 years ago, I've been back multiple times to get estimates +/or repairs done on the body of my poor little car whether it be small scratches or big dents. This most recent visit was for the latter situation... a big dent. And this time it was actually my fault rather than a crazy LA driver... but of course, I blame the pole in the parking lot for attacking my poor baby + knocking her headlights out... Heh. Heh. Coming to Auto Tech was the natural choice for me as I've always been satisfied with their repairs + sense of professionalism. Although they don't usually take walk-ins for estimates, I came in early on a weekday morning to get a quote for repairs to the front driver's side damages to my car + was helped almost immediately. I told them that I was on a budget + wanted a quick job done. As much as I wanted in my heart to restore my car to perfection + see it rolling out like the glittery beauty it was after the first time I got my car fixed here, my brain knew that I just didn't have the budget or the time for that this time around. What Oscar + Richard offered was a quick fix of replacing the smashed headlights, reshaping/banging out the dented bumper/wheel well/sides, + then polishing the surface to blend it in... all for $125 including labor + tax. WHAT A DEAL!!! I drove out of the lot with my itemized estimate in hand + with the promise that I would receive a call as soon as my part was in. The next day, I got the call so I dropped off my car the following morning + was kindly given a ride back to downtown. It wasn't even 6 hours later when I got the call that my car was already done! Sweet! And true enough, there she was by the front gates when I got back to the shop in the evening. From a couple yards away, one wouldn't ever know that my poor baby's face was once embarassingly dented in. Sure there's still some noticeable bumps + scratches along the metal that are obvious upon closer inspection, but for $125 they did an AMAZING job + all within a day! The exact definition of a quick fix + right up to my expectations. Auto Tech Collision Center's consistency of excellence in helping me out through multiple repairs jobs through the years deserves 5 stars. The guys here are honest, take your needs into consideration, and do a great job with repairs. Thank youuuuu! ^-^ And hopefully I won't need to be back soon... heh. read more

This place takes advantage of the insurance adds more parts than needed making your car stay there way loneger than needed. Needed front and rear bumper maybe also bumper support. Ended up 1 month in there for headlights, radiatore,radiator support, cameras, and who knows what else. All these parts where good and working. read more

Thieves work here. My boyfriend took his car in for some body work, based on the yelp reviews he trusted the establishment. He was told his car would be ready in 3 to 4 days, being told that he decided to leave his items in his car since it wouldn't take long and again, trusted the establishment. Picked up his car 4 days later and found that his brass knuckles left in his glove compartment we're gone. When he called the man he spoke with told him, he checked and no one has them, that his employees do not rummage through peoples things. They were there before he brought his car in and not there when he got it back. I guess they just got up and walked away on their own. read more

I had a terrible experience with Auto Tech Collision Center. I took my car here after I got rear-ended. (There was damage to the rear bumper and the trunk release wouldn't open​ fully.) When they finished and I went to pick up my car, the trunk release was still not opening fully. I told them that this was unacceptable so they agreed to fix the car and bring it to my apartment when it was ready. Two days later, they fixed the trunk release and brought the now twice-repaired car to me. But as soon as they left, I discovered that the driver door lock was broken and the car could not be locked. I called Auto Tech and said that I needed them to bring my rental car back since my regular car was still not properly fixed but they said that the rental car was already back at the dealership and that they couldn't bring it back. They also suggested that the broken door lock could just be a coincidence even though all the door locks were working perfectly when I originally brought the car to them. So then I had to take my car all the way to my car dealership and they discovered that Auto Tech messed up the wiring on my driver door and that's why the lock wasn't working. Altogether, it took three separate repairs for my car to get 100% fixed. The people at Auto Tech Collision Center are nice but they do horrible work. I would strongly recommend that you do not take your car here under any circumstances. read more
