It is so bad that I now drive to Austin for my Volvo service needs which is really inconvenient. They really should train the ladies who answer the phones. They have an I don't care attitude and your needs are really of no concern to them. And good luck ever getting a phone call back when you leave a message. It's a shame because I live my Volvo and would probably want to but another one when it's time to trade this one in - but the service department is so bad that I probably will not purchase a Volvo again just because driving to Austin for service is not very convenient. Maybe they should go to Austin Volvo to see how a service department should run.

Part of the service was a tire rebalance, rotation and a 4-wheel alignment. Upon leaving the service department's parking lot my car was pulling severely hard to the left and was immediately undriveable!! By the time I had turned around and returned to Garlyn Shelton Volkswagen/ Volvo of Temple they had already closed as I had picked up the car at the end of the day. I had to drive the car with 4-way flashers on to another shop for repair. The other shop identified and repaired the issue. Garlyn Shelton Volkswagen/ Volvo of Temple simply never test drove the car after performing service and ultimately gave me a car that was unsafe to even drive out of their parking lot. I will never return.

I asked for several vehicles to be pulled for me and my husband to look at. Jerrith had all the available vehicles ready for us to look at and we tested them all. We test drove several, but then I saw a vehicle that was on the lot that was outside of my initial price range. He did not even press me into choosing this vehicle he didn't even ask to show me this vehicle, but I wanted to see it personally so we drove it. We fell in love with it. I will tell you that it was outside of our initial price range, but it was my choice, and I fell in love with it. Jerrith showed us the vehicle without any pressure. Jerrith and CJ worked through some hesitations I had about going outside my price range in a very kind and knowledgeable manager. Both explained extended warranties in a non invasive way. So between CJ and Jerrith we talked about the vehicle and potential warranties and came up with a package I was comfortable with. I went and saw Tim per usual, as he should and is expected, Tim shared with me other warranty packages. I chose the one that best suited my driving needs. He was so understanding and gave me no pressure at all to go higher, just gave me the facts and let me make a choice. I have purchased used and new vehicles in my life, and that was by far the best car buying expensive I have ever had. Hands. Down. Ever. As a female buyer fell it's so important to be heard and respected. I'm so happy with my purchase, and my experience. I would literally implore you to visit them. I ended up buying a Nissan. Again, something I saw on the the lot, and I'm exited about my warranty coverage and lovely vehicle. Even if you are looking for a used vehicle outside of Nissan, I imagine they will have the same approach, as they did me my family. Jerrith, CJ, and Tim: Thank you for helping our family and getting us into a vehicle I am proud of and confident of. I hope top top leadership see this review. You deserve the best! Set up the appointment online, checked in with no delays at the set time, and received a call very quickly, that the service was done. As always, McKenzie and all the others were friendly, courteous, and efficient. Communications are excellent as always, with phone calls and text messages keeping you informed.

    Went into this dealership looking for a specific vehicle we had already seen a few days earlier…read more Unfortunately it sold before we came back, which was completely understandable and not an issue. What became the issue was everything that happened afterward. The dealership assured us it would be "super easy" to locate the exact vehicle we wanted and had us move forward with a credit application based on numbers they quoted us at around a $900/month payment. We trusted what we were being told and allowed them to run our credit. For the next two weeks, we were repeatedly told they were searching for the vehicle and gave the impression everything was progressing normally. Then suddenly we were told the vehicle would actually need to be custom ordered from Toyota because it supposedly wasn't easy to get after all. On top of that, the original payment numbers they wrote up were somehow "completely wrong," and the actual payment would now be around $1,400/month -- a massive difference that should never happen if the numbers were calculated honestly and professionally from the start. So after weeks of wasted time, multiple misleading statements, and an unnecessary hit to our credit, we ended up with no vehicle and zero accountability from the dealership. Extremely disappointing experience. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

They did get my parents into a car but a big red flag that I saw was…read morethis: I was checking the oil in all the vehicles my parents wanted to test drive and I smelled the oil in a WHITE 2018 HONDA CRV and smelled a strong odor of gasoline. When I told the salesman about it his reply was "well I'm not a mechanic" and he just put it back on the lot. Didn't do anything to get it pulled from inventory or repaired. That is a bad sign of oil dilution and it's essentially a grenade. I hope no one buys the WHITE2018 HONDA CRV at the temple drive time. The other issue I had was the salesman input my mother SSN incorrectly. I mean she gave him the number twice and the fact he input it wrong caused a huge delay that made the whole process take about 5-6 hours when it could of been done in two and a half. The interest rates are very high expect to put a down payment even if they tell you you won't need one. But my main point I want to make is DO NOT BUY THE WHITE 2018 HONDA CRV. It's going to be a money pit and probably leave you in a worse place than where you started. I just want to save someone time, money, and headaches. If my parents weren't in such a bind to get a vehicle I would've walked out after I saw how they neglected to do anything about the ticking time bomb on their lot. I pray they don't dupe someone into buying that one.
