When I ordered the equipment the front staff worked with me and helped me get exactly what I wanted. I got my bed liner installed on my Ford Ranger and from initial call to when I got there, they were nice and friendly. It actually took them less time than originally quoted. I plan on coming back for Window Tinting and running boards. read more

If you want a company that will stand behind what they sell, don't deal with Auto Truck Outfitters. I purchased a tonneau cover from them and discovered that it didn't fit my truck correctly. I went back to them the same day and they refused to stand behind it, saying they were a "third party to the transaction". I was forced to go to the manufacturer of the cover, who eventually had me ship it back to them. Despite the manufacturer authorizing a refund to Auto Truck Outfitters, they held onto my money for over a month. Anything ATO sells can be found on the internet, and usually for less money, with easy returns. read more

Since 2007, I have used Auto Truck Outfitters for tonneaus, truck bed sprays and running boards/steps. They're the best.

I only wish I could rate this place of business with zero stars. I've been a loyal customer getting several cars tinted and they messed up on the last one. They said no problem we will fix when you're ready. When I went to cash in on that "we owe you" they suddenly had no record and the rep Tom was a complete jerk about it. I say get rid of Tom and start treating your customers better. In the meantime there are several other tint places to go to. read more

I took my New Ford F-150 to ATO to get a bed liner and my windows tinted. The quality of work was decent and that is why they got 2 stars. When I got home from picking it up I noticed multiple scratches near the rail of the bed liner. I brought the truck back to have them look at it and they tried to wax off the scratches which worked on a couple of the minor ones. There were still multiple scratches left visible when he was done and I asked him to do it again. After he said that was the best they can do. This left scratches on my brand new truck. The guy said "its black so it shows scratches" but no matter either way those scratches should not have been there let alone "the best they can do" by professionals. All around the customer services lacks and I would beware from having work done. read more

I always bring my vehicles here for tint and every time they are excellent no bubbles no imperfections. The tint is always flawless and the service is professional and accommodating. I don't usually post reviews but these guys deserve one. They will soon be putting a lift kit on for me as well. read more

I had my remote car starter instilled here (Hyundai dealership send my car here) and they messed it up. When I came back they told me that the fact that the car shuts itself off (randomly) and locks the door (with my key inside in freezing weather-again randomly) is normal. They refused to make any adjustments or fixing the car. I felt offended when (I believe that the manager) John try to explain again how (one button) remote works, but also couldn't explain the random shut downs. Now (22months later) the remote stop working totally. Both of them so it's not the battery since only one was used the whole time, and I'm really hesitating bringing the car back to this place. If I knew this, I would have my husband to install this $80 starter and saved over $400. What a shame, I was hoping for top service and great performance for this price. read more

Lies, Damages, Insults, and Disrespect. I was looking for a place to take my brand new 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon to have Corbeau XRS suspension seats installed, replacing the stock seats. I first brought my car to my trusted mechanic who said that it would be a tough job because of the airbag sensors in the seats. He recommended trying a place that specializes in aftermarket installations. I contacted ATO and spoke to the manager John Wilczynski. I was impressed with how courteous and professional John seemed to be. I explained to him the challenges my mechanic faced with the installation of the seats and asked if he would be able to do the job. John asked for me to email him links to the Corbeau site so that he could review it before taking the job. After reviewing the links, he got back to me and we scheduled a time for the installation, Wednesday August 10, 2016. I dropped my car off after business hours on Tuesday, August 9th. At 4 pm, on August 10th, I receive a call from ATO informing me that unfortunately they could not install the seats due to difficulty with the airbag sensors. My first thought was, "Why did you tell me you could do the job then?" but I said, "Ok, no worries. I appreciate you trying." I then got an Uber down to ATO to pick up my car before they closed at 5pm. Upon arrival, they were apologetic and kind and gave me my keys. This is where things got interesting. I go out to my car and open my driver side door to see that the inside is a mess. The seats appeared to be thrown in the back with the metal brackets against the windows. The box the brackets came in was ripped to shreds and all over the back. The final thing I noticed was the rope that holds the Wrangler door from swinging wide open was off the hook. Being as this is my first Wrangler, which I have only owned for a month, I did not realize the doors had ropes and hooks. At first I was nervous because I saw wires, but I saw that it was easy enough to put the rope back on the hook. No big deal. I was not happy about this situation but I was not feeling well that day and just wanted to get home so I decided not to go back into the store to complain. I spent 20 minutes cleaning up my car in the parking lot of ATO so that I could slide my driver's side seat back and drove home. The following weekend, three days after I had my car with ATO, I was showing off my new Jeep to family members. My father noticed a dent near the driver side rearview mirror. I get out and look and think how could that have happened. I then thought about the rope on the driver side door being off the hook when I picked it up from ATO. The dent was the same exact location and shape as the bottom edge of the driver side mirror. It does not take a genius to put the pieces together to realize that ATO had not only left my car a mess they also damaged the vehicle. The next step was to call the ATO manager that I had spoken with before and let him know about what had happened. I called first thing Monday morning and spoke with John. After explaining what happened, he apologized and said he would "take care of it." He asked me if I could stop by so that he could see the damage. I went right away and told him I appreciated him taking the time. I reviewed with him my concerns regarding the condition of my car. John started by saying, "We will cover it, but I can't see how you would have missed this dent when you picked up your car." He then added, "My guy would not have done this." I said, "I am the only one who has driven this car and if you replay the course of events, there is no other way the dent could have occurred other than when it was in your possession." He then changed his mind, offering to cover half of the damages. I said, "I trusted your business with my car. You told me you could do a job that you couldn't do. You kept my car for an entire day before realizing you couldn't do the job. I had to pay $22 to Uber down and pick up my car. I then had to CLEAN up an outrageous mess you left for me. You damage my car. You tell me you will cover the damages and have me drive down here again AND now you want me to PAY HALF the cost for damages your company caused?" He said, "Well, I think that is fair because I don't think my guy did that." I said, "You agree that the dent was caused by the driver side window, correct?" He said, "Yes." I said, "I am the only person who has opened the driver side door." "If I didn't do it, and your company took off the rope that holds the door, using deductive reasoning, there is no other way it could have happened." He responded again by saying "his guy wouldn't have don't that. I said, "The right thing to do would be to own the mistake but instead you have decided to continue to doubt my integrity and blame me for not noticing the dent the day I picked it up from you." He finished by saying, "Well, I offered you half, and this is not going anywhere." read more

I had a very nice experience with this shop. Their team was professional and courteous during scheduling as well as after the job was completed. The Line-X bed liner was installed correctly and has very clean lines (no over-spray). The truck was returned clean, on time, and priced as quoted. I'll definitely head back in the future. read more

So I called two weeks ago to schedule an appointment to have window tinting done. Keep in mind I live over an hour away and this place was recommended. When I called I was asked when do I want to bring it in. I said 9 am and it takes 3 hours right? Yes I am told so I pick the date and am told great there is no one else on the schedule yet. Will I be waiting? No my daughter is meeting me for breakfast I will come back for it. Well that was my mistake I guess because now apparently I am a drop off appointment no longer a 9 am appointment. So needless to say when I get there (gas, time and turnpike tolls later) I am told ok should be done around 3!!! Say what? I thought this took 3 hours? Oh, well you are drop off so we booked to wait appointments at the same time. So I'm to kill time for 6 hours??? I think not. Sorry when I make an appointment for 9 am, I expect service at 9 am. The person at the counter just stood there basically with nothing to say. They were busy so it was obvious they did not need my business and so I will take it elsewhere. read more

Terrible! Sent my 17 year old son to ATO for a radio installation which involves removing the dashboard. As he was driving away from the parking lot he noticed the clear plastic lens on the fuel gauge was cracked.I contacted ATO about the damage, I first questioned my son twice about it to determine if the damage was pre-existing. He said no both times and has nothing to gain by lying. I called ATO later that day and informed them about the damage. I was told that an assessment was done on the vehicle and it was noted that the lens was cracked. They proceeded to forward me a copy of the assessment which consisted of 3 items and cleverly placed the cracked lens as no. 2 on the list. So if you're reading it they make it look like they just didn't add it to the list after they realized damage had been done. Seems like they have experience and are adept at covering their tracks. So I visited ATO the following day with my son's car and spoke to 4 people collectively about the damage. I asked, "when the assessment of the vehicle was done was my son present during the process"? Answer: NO. I asked "why not"? Answer: Because it would take too much time. My reply: My experience with service providers of this nature and rental car companies is the assessment is done in the company of the customer to protect the service provider and the customer. Furthermore, after an assessment is made it is typically acknowledged and signed. Neither took place. So during the course of my conversation I informed them that if someone had called me and took responsibility for the damage I probably would have said "don't worry about it" because the car is 14 years old. However, my son doesn't feel that way. To him, it's his first car, and it only has 80,000 miles on it, and he wants to keep it nice. As the conversation further declined I was told that "we have reached an impasse" and "you are going to believe what you want to believe, and we are going to believe what we want to believe". And so now it becomes a matter of principle for me because I feel like my son was taken advantage of, they damaged the car, we were both lied to, and they don't take responsibility for their actions. read more
