I've had the misfortune to require repair work on two cars over the last two summers. Based on Concord Auto Body Shop's reputation we took our Jeep Grand Cherokee for an estimate last summer and were hoping to have it scheduled for repair while we were away for a 2 week summer vacation out west. Concord Auto Body was extremely busy, but Pete was very accomodating and said he could fit us in while we were away on vacation. We were kept informed on the progress and any additional potential work while we were gone. While still away we were informed that the car was ready and we could pick it up when we returned. The Jeep looked perfect when we arrived to pick it up. The car was also immaculately cleaned which was a bit unexpected. Considering we have two young kids it was a very nice sight to see the car look brand new on the inside and out! In June of this year we had to take my BMW 3 series in for a minor scrape on the front left fender/bumper area. I was dreading the potential cost of this one because a family member had scraped the car with his car and we were not handling through insurance. I feared the worst in terms of damage cost even though the damage didn't look "that bad". Again, we arrived at Concord Auto Body on the verge of a trip to the Delaware coast for a week and were hoping we could get fit in while we were gone. Pete, again was extremely accomodating and said they would fit us in. He gave us an extensive review of what would need to be done to fix the damage including several potential addtional significant costs that might be incurred depending on what was found underneath the bumper and the various sensor for park distance, etc. We were again kept informed throughout from the call a week in advance of our drop off as a friendly reminder and during our trip to inform us what was done and when the car would be ready for pick up. Upon our return yesterday, the car was sitting there waiting for us. The car looked perfect like it just came off the show room floor of the dealership. Pete and the crew inside were extremely friendly and we joked around about how my Dad still wouldn't be invited over for Thanksgiving for damaging my car. As I got into the car, I was again floored by how clean the car was on the inside as well as the perfect fix on the outside. I genuinely felt like I was driving a brand new car again! I took my car into dealer and got a very high price to replace full headlight casing. As I thought about it , saw this place and stopped in to ask their opinion. Bob, an owner, couldn't have been nicer and gave me a price substantially better. Did I say nice? No condescending woman thing which happens, friendly, flexible for drop off. My son took car in a week later, done as committed, no change in price, they cleaned up the other to look as new as this one ( hey it's a 2008 car!) AND THE CAR WAS CLEANED INSIDE AND OUT! WOW! What a place. Listen to this. Concord removed serious scratches from my car and repainted it in mid 2014. They did a great job, but that's just the beginning. Today, in 2019, I went in with a new problem. I was in rough country over the weekend and had a little incident. I had to make a U-turn on a very bad dirt road. When I backed up during the U-turn, I went over a small, angry rock that grabbed under my car and, when I pulled forward, dislodged the rear bumper slightly. Just slightly but enough that it might have required a replacement of the bumper and then a repainting of the car!! That would have been a disaster for two reasons: (1) a BIG expense; and (2) the paint job Concord had done in 2014 still looked GREAT! There was no reason, other than this bumper problem, to repaint. So I went in, with my heart in my mouth, and asked for someone to look at my bumper and give me an estimate. So "Pete" came out and looked. First Pete said, "Aren't you the fellow whose Toyota we repaired and painted a few years back?" I said, yep, that's me. Wow I thought, what a memory after 5 years. Then he looked at my car and said: "Keep your fingers crossed, I may be able to fix it right here and now - in the parking lot." He went and got some tools and bingo, 20 minutes later I was good to go! My car looked like new. I said, "How much?" He said, "Forget it, I was glad my idea worked and the problem is fixed." Now that is what I call service. Fixing a totally unrelated problem for free after 5 years. Anytime you have an Auto Body problem, go to Concord Auto and ask for "Pete". Tell him I sent you. This is everything that I wanted in an auto body repair shop. Knowledgeable, courteous, honest and upfront about when they had time in the schedule and how long it would take to repair the car. They called to remind us to bring the car in (it was a couple of weeks between when they gave me the estimate and when I was to bring the car in), called during the repair to update me, and finished on schedule. I had minor repairs/replacement done on a foglight component for my BMW. I checked the price for the component prior to seeking a quote and they gave me a fair price for it. They found a way to replace it without having to remove the bumper saving me a lot of labor costs. The staff was friendly and professional. After finishing the work the cleaned the interior and exterior which was a nice touch. Easy after hours dropoff if required. read more

Would NOT recommend Concord auto body. Their final cost was twice the estimate, much longer than anticipated and they had difficulty finding the appropriate parts. I have written a letter to explain my concerns, and not even a courtesy call or response. Find another auto body shop. read more
