    I'll call this the "Case of the Mysterious Transmission Fluid Sample". My 2012 Prius with 264,000 miles was tentatively sold and the buyer wanted Auto Whisper to check the car over before the deal was complete. Dropped the car off and gave the man behind the desk most of the maintenance records on the Prius. As I was going to pickup the car the buyer called and said she was not going to buy the car because of the Auto Whisper, man behind the desk evaluation. He told her that a sample of the transmission fluid was "so black, it was the worst he had ever seen". Hmmm!. When I asked the man behind the desk about his comment he said "YES that was true"..Hmmm..OK I asked to see the sample..his reply "Oh we threw it out". WHAT! The worst he had ever seen and he threw it out?. I then informed him that the transmission was serviced 5 months earlier and I had put only 1,000 miles on the car since then. NO RESPONSE! I showed him the receipt for the service. NO RESPONSE! I told him that the black sample was impossible. NO RESPONSE! So the next day I took the car to RIGHT TOYOTA. Told the service writer the story and told him I wanted a transmission service but I wanted the mechanic to note the fluid he was extracting to see if there was any problems. At Right they also analyze the extracted fluid to check for metal or any other particles that might cause a problem. NONE DETECTED!.. NOTHING OTHER THAN A NORMAL TRANSMISSION SERVICE was the mechanic and service writers comments! WOW! from the WORST FLUID EVER SEEN to A NORMAL TRANSMISSION SERVICE at a Toyota dealership in just ONE day! Very Mysterious!

Dom was honest with me, kept me posted, and the price was fair! Not only did the fix my car, but did everything to the highest standards. It is not always easy to find a good guy to fix your car (and I am a stickler about my car) but sometimes you get lucky in life and find that Unicorn. I have been living 14 years in Arizona and have been to many, many repair shops over the years. Unfortunately, most (about 90% of them) are only looking to make as much $$$ as they can off of you. Not with Liberty! Like I said.... Honest, Trustworthy, Highly Skilled and at a FAIR PRICE! This is the place to go with ANY car issues. I will never go anywhere else. So he drove out to my house the same day and did a personal analysis to help my car. He ended up telling me that I need to do something so cheap that we don't even need to use them. I have never had such trust worthy customer service. I own a lot of cars and are always worried with mechanics. Please look no further and check out Liberty Auto. He was on time, professional, and clearly knew what he was doing. He explained everything in a way that made sense, didn't try to upsell anything unnecessary, and made sure the job was done right. My A/C is now blowing cold again like it should, and the car is running perfectly. You can tell he takes pride in his work and cares about doing a quality job. On top of that, the convenience of him coming to me saved a lot of time and hassle. I'd definitely recommend him to anyone looking for reliable and honest mobile mechanic work.

    I am giving two stars because of the only positives: they scheduled my inspection within a few days…read moreof calling and Justin, the technician that arrived, was very nice. However, I am very disappointed with the level of expertise and outcome of the visit. My 2014 Jeep compass has had the check engine light on for a week, steering locked up last week, and has had delayed clicking start. Justin arrived, I gave him the full history of my vehicle (no problems for 10 years) and the issues occurring the last month or so which prompted the call. He started running tests, even drove the car around to see if he could replicate what I had been experiencing. About 30 minutes into the visit he said he couldn't replicate any of the issues; that's okay, as I mentioned it only happened about 50% of the time. But he sat in my car another 20-30 minutes or so, told me he had to call his boss because he was completely stumped. Not really what you want to hear, but even I started making suggestions of what it could be so he could at least do something for me. At the end of the visit he basically just said "sorry I have no idea what's wrong, maybe replace your battery?"... the only thing he found was a sensor on my engine needed replacement, but it's totally unrelated to the other issues. I ended up having to pay $150 for literally no better idea what's wrong with my car and not feeling any safer to drive it. It was a huge waste of my time and now I'm out $150, and I still had to take it to another shop that already figured out the problem not even 24 hours later. Save yourself some money and go to a real auto shop. I understand that some technicians may be learning or lack the knowledge to dive deeper, but someone should be going with them to assist so your customers aren't left feeling robbed and confused.
