The heat in my car hadn't been working well for the last few years in my 2010 Kia Soul. I had already taken it to my local auto shop in 2016 where they replaced the thermostat. The heat still wasn't amazing but at least some form of warm air was coming out. Fast forward to 2019 and there was absolutely no heat coming out of the vents. In fact, the air was just cold and defrosting my windows was a constant struggle. My husband had brought his car to Auto Zooded and raved about their customer service and quality of work. I met Rob when I brought in the Soul and explained all the past issues I had with the heat. Rob broke down the different potential causes and followed up with me once he started working on the car. He mentioned that it could be the water pump ($700) or the heater core ($900) but wanted to run a full cleaning and diagnostic first. Rob is a magician. After running the diagnostic, he found that he only needed to clear out the heater core and replace the thermostat, saving me over $1500 in repairs. He was transparent throughout the whole process and was an absolute pleasure to work with. I can't recommend Rob and the Auto Zooded team enough! read more

*Update* 12/11/19 Rob is the MAN! He goes above and beyond a typical mechanic and really values customer service. Even though he was swamped, it was late, and raining he still squeezed me in and I really really appreciated it. I sold my mini Cooper and now I'm bringing my Subaru Forester and my wife's Kia Soul to this shop for all our needs. Glad to know I can expect quality service for reasonable prices. Rob went above and beyond what I would expect from a reasonable mechanic. My BMW lost a high pressure pump on the way from LA to the Bay Area and the dealer wanted more than 3k to replace both sides. I talked to Rob and was able to order parts on my own and have them shipped to his shop directly. I got the same Bosch parts for much cheaper than the dealer and Rob only charged me for a few hours of labor. Due to delivery issues by UPS, Rob did me a huge favor by driving out to their warehouse to pick up my pumps. If he hadn't done that, I wouldn't have gotten my car back for another week.
