Today was a great day at my local Autobell. I have been using their services since their opening day. I was so impressed with the teamwork and professionalism from everyone I encountered. The location is very clean in all areas and the level of customer service has improved so much that I was pleasantly surprised. I paid for the full service and it was completed perfectly. I did not need to ask them to correct anything. They took great pride in their work. The manager, a young gentleman, was very attentive, watchful, and jumped in to help out. They did a terrible job and the manager said he was going to call the police, because I was using their equipment because they didn't vacuum or wipe down my vehicle so I told him to call the police. After I had already vacuumed again myself. And I tried to keep wiping the vehicle because they didn't finish wiping it either he told me he was gonna call the police because I could not use their equipment I told him I needed to use the equipment because they needed to do a better job. ! Got the armor all special and tire shine came out to around $45, the young lady at the entrance was very nice and informative, but when I dropped my car off to the gentlemen detailing my car I knew something was off after only sitting and waiting about 3 minutes and coming back to my car not very well vacuumed I still tipped them because of the heat, just disappointed in the results I got for the price I paid. read more

I keep coming here because they're convenient. But the work outside of the wash is sooo average. For $30 I shouldn't have to tell you ...you missed a spot, here, here, here, over here, this too and etc. I'd prefer to clean my own car but when I go months without a wash I feel like I need to treat my car to a full detail. So that's why I chose to come here too. It was pretty steady tonight. From start to finish it took about 30 mins. Overall I was pleased with the service. Because even though I had a long list of "to do's" the detailer didn't complain. He kept asking is it good for you now ma'am. So basically he made sure I was pleased with his work. This autobell is the worst, I pulled up to the entrance was wasn't even given a sales pitch by one of the female cashiers. I also realize after the wash my car had scratches all over it. I used to work there and know they don't clean the bay as they should or clean the equipment. I would not recommend this car wash. read more

I don't know why people are hating on this car wash. They were fantastic. Bought the $17.99 option and I was impressed with the interior detail that was included. Just got back from a road trip and there were a hell'ova lot of bugs on my grill and shield. Vehicle was left spotless after the wash. I went through a different car wash 2x just to get bugs off in the past and that was $15 without a hand dry and interior clean out experience. The workers were kind and thorough. The worker that was assigned to my car asked if there was anything further he could do. I did have a hand sanitizer stain on my leather that was missed but he happily took care of it. I won't even lie it was a bit pricey but worth it. Haven't washed my car or vacuuming in about 4 months didn't feel like doing it myself and it decided to come here. I ended up getting the manager special which came with an extensive wash and wax detailing on the inside, armor-all, fragrance and more for about $30. I will say the wash did a very good job also they did a great job on the inside vacuuming out all the dirt and wiping down everything in the car they did a great job on my tires and rims. Now that I got my vehicle very very clean I think I'm going to sign up for the monthly program so I can up keep the wash on my car. They did a very good job. read more

Normally I go to the hood car wash pots because they do a good job and I rather give my money to people who seem to really need it. Today I didn't quite have time to go to the normal spot so I thought I'd try this place out. The body of the car is first round through an automated car wash which did a good job my problem is with the inside. I paid to have the inside of my car vacuumed and cleaned up. They have two people cleaning out the inside of car. When I got inside the car immediately noticed a rush job. They didn't really vacuum out the back seat on the floor and they did not wipe down the area between the armrest and the console. It was fast I'll admit but I'd rather sit there for another 10 minutes and have my car cleaned. If they show down just a bit this place would be awesome. read more

This is a quick and easy way to get your car cleaned when you don't want to do it yourself. The price is ok, but unless your detailer knows you tip good, they won't spend too much time on the interior-but again for the price it's adequate. They will go back over areas you point out, so that's a plus. read more

After reading all the reviews I decided to still take a shot at the place. It wasn't as bad as I though maybe because I already had lower expectations however car came out pretty clean, they vacuumed the inside before wash & after wash. 3/5 wasn't bad wasn't the best service. I used to think this Autobell location was great - 5 stars, but the quality of service has steadily declined over the last few months. At my last three visits, my car has been run through the wash and allowed to just sit there so long that it air dries, leaving water spots everywhere; the window glass always has streaks and water spots, even after I point it out and ask them to go over it again; the vacuuming job is average; and at my last visit, one of them made the inside door trim muddy with his wet shoes and didn't clean it off. I'm getting tired of having to hound them to do a good job. If anyone can recommend a better car wash and detailing service in Norfolk with comparable prices, please let me know. read more

I was there last weekend and they failed to vacuum out the rear of our Explorer. Today I took my mustang which is garage kept and never driven in bad weather and when I asked why no one had done the rear window I was told by the attendant he was told to no longer do the rear windows. The manager said that was not true but did not offer to do it so I left before I really lost it. This place should become self service since they are too lazy or uncaring to do what the process I paid for stated would be done and I paid for the Super Poly plus I always tip but no more I will most likely use the drive through only from the point on. This is one of the worst car washes. This is my second time here and yet again sfter spending 26 dollars they didnt bother to move the mats and vaccum under them instead they vaccuumed on the sides. I specifically told the cashier about the same issue during my previous viisit. She ensured me yes that she would inform the guys but in her own words you know how guys are. No I don't make them do their job. When they said my car was done. I checked under all 4 mats and or course just like before under the mat had never been touched. I called them back to re do it. Also they never touched the cup holders or the area near the gear shaft. This place sucks. My last time going here. I would rather drive further away from my home than give this place any more of my money. Now I know why most of their locations have a rating of 3 stars or less. The funny thing is they are always trying to sell you some special package woth rain X a bundle of csr washes or some other gimmick.. How about you get a basic car wash done correctly. Got the manager's special with Armor All application, a $36 "special." Interior barely looks like it was wiped down or vacuumed. Exterior still has bird droppings and dirt on it. I watched the associate as he was cleaning chit chatting with a friend as he cleaned the interior-perhaps he was distracted. But he made sure to say, "I put a lot of work into it," afterwards to secure his tip. First time and also the last time I'll go there. From start to finish it was a less than ten minute ordeal which says a lot about how much effort was put in. read more

Initially I was going to leave a 2 star review, purely from the fact that the whole approach to detailing the car was lackadaisical at best. But after giving my receipt to the attendant, I still had my keys since no one on site could drive stick, I quickly realized just how poor of a job had been performed. As a previous manager of Autobell on Western Branch Blvd I had come to expect more from Autobell as a whole, let alone the location that is supposedly a better branch. The floors are barely vacuumed, the cup holders left uncleaned, the doors not wiped down. Myself, nor any of the employees at the time would have performed at such a low level of service. Had I not pre-purchased the tip the amount would have been drastically different. My recommendation, go elsewhere if you would like your car washed. Pretty good carwash! Prices seem fair and the employees genuinely seem to take pride in their work when cleaning and drying your car. The whole process to run my vehicle and have it cleaned was about 25 to 30 mins. Not bad. When I came out the guy cleaning my car asked if there were any spots I saw that he missed. There were a few and he cleaned them right up. Very courteous from the beginning to the end. They also have an unlimited car wash deal worth checking out. read more

I recently visited here for the first time and foolishly entered the wrong way and was quickly greeted by a polite gentleman in khaki pants named Kyshaun, I assume he was in leadership due to his different uniform from everyone else. He quickly came to my rescue and directed me to the proper location with a smile and went back to work. Once my car was headed into the wash and I walked in to watch it go through another gentleman in khaki pants and different colored shirt named Timm walked by and greeted me with the biggest smile, which made me in turn smile. After my car was serviced, I was quite surprised. My car was spotless inside and out and they had even taken my mats out to scrub them, which I myself did not expect to be done. Ironically enough, Kyshaun was the gentleman who finished my car and it was expertly cleaned. He sent me on my way, thanked me, told me to come back and closed my door for me with a smile. I took my 2015 Honda Pilot to be cleaned today and purchased the full service wash for $26.99. After it was cleaned and I started to drive away, as soon as I put it in gear to drive, it started beeping indicating that a door was open and the light on the dashboard indicated that it was the rear door. I put the car in park and walked around to the back of my vehicle to open and close the hatch, and when I did, the handle to the hatch came off in my hand. It was not like that when I arrived at AutoBell. After speaking to Dillon, the manager on duty, and filing a report, he conducted an "investigation" and said that two of his employees told him that my Pilot was like that when I brought it in. That is untrue. I had previously been to the grocery store, and opened and closed the back hatch to load groceries, there was nothing wrong with it. I go to this establishment a fair amount, and I've never had a problem. However, their attitude toward a paying customer was shocking. Needless to say, I will never use AutoBell again, and I will tell everyone that I know to do the same. read more

Horrible. I was visiting from Richmond and decided to stop and have my car washed before continuing my trip. Spent $30 on the "Manager's Special" and was very disappointed. It's basically an exterior wash and a vacuum. My cup holders, doors, dashboard and seats still had spots and dust all over. I had spilled sprinkles in my car (which is why I wanted a wash) and they were still everywhere. They didn't wipe anything down. I drove away wondering what I paid for when I could have gotten the same results from a gas station wash and vacuuming myself. Take your money elsewhere. read more

There are kids running, I mean actually running everywhere looks like a High School PE class. Wiping and cleaning cars like crazy. Thought I would have to wait a long time because of the line of cars in front of me 5 of them to be exact, but less than 5 mins later my car was being serviced. Had two people working on my car at one time so plenty of staff. The store manager came by and looked at my car to make sure it was right and done a little more wiping and took my mats to wash them himself. 20 mins after I pulled up they came in to get me. I went out to check on it noticed they missed the hatchback area and the area between the seat and B pillar but once I pointed it out they took care of it right away. My guess is the forest for the trees, doing cars as quick as they do gonna miss something. The main thing is they corrected it quickly and the car looked great!!
