My husband and I have both had the monthly subscription for quite some time today and have loved it. Today his car randomly went off the tracks and there was no guidance on what to do. Things started banging against his car and causing damage so he had to put his car in gear to get out because the machine wasnt stopping. Autobell claims when he did all that it made him responsible for any damages, not them. This is terrible customer service to know your product faulted and then blame the customer. I would be very wary of sending your car through there wash because they will blame you for their machines defect. read more

1st visit car was not vacuumed well. I could still see dirt. They did NOT even touch the front glass. Then fool that I am I said I would give them another try. I specifically told the attendant to pay special attention to the windows. He says yes ma'am we always do. well, I could see where he wiped and it was right in the middle and that was it!!!! Didn't even wipe the consoles!!! I had a great experience at AutoBell and my wife was pleased with the job on her exterior was and interior cleaning the staff performed. The experience was very fast, probably 15 minutes from pulling in the lot to exiting after full detail. The staff from the initial purchase to the detailers were all friendly and offered their recommendations. The value was well worth it in my opinion and I appreciate how efficiently they were in the process. They did a great job! I care more about the inside than I do the outside, and most car washes aren't great at that part! I needed my trunk vacuumed and they cleaned it right up! Fast but great job! Also bought the bogo 40% off deal so I can get another one soon! The process works well too, I lost the claim ticket down in my purse, that's as my fault! But I like the way they operate! This location only earned one star for the decent job the machines did washing the outside of the car. The dusting and vacuuming was basically nonexistent and I had already given the guys a break by telling them they didn't have to do the back area where the 3rd row seats were folded down (I have an Explorer) just the front and back seat areas. I paid $40 for the wash and stupidly tipped $10 since there were a few guys hovering around the car and I assumed they split tips given. If I wouldn't have been on my way to an appointment I would have gone back and complained but I just didn't have the time that day. I'm thoroughly disappointed with this place. read more

I paid for a car wash, vacuum, windows cleaned and tire shine. The vacuum job was subpar at best. I had to point out a lot of spots that were not vacuumed, they did not wipe off the dash or door jams etc., the windows were streaked, tires not shined. To add to the lousy job for way to much money I asked for the mats to be sprayed with the air freshener and their reply was that was not included and it would be another $2.50!!!!!! What? For a couple of sprays, no Thank you. They said it was only included with service above $25.99!!!!!! I will go elsewhere next time. Cactus Car Wash is cheaper for the same service and the freshener is included in all their packages. read more

I had never been to Autobell, but went at the recommendation of a neighbor. I got a basic car wash. When I returned home, I decided to hose down my carats and when I took them out was shocked to see an incredible amount of filth under my mats. I called Customer Service, and she said they should have removed the mats to vacuum and that I could go back to have it done properly. First I had to figure out instructions. One young teen helped me, and I pulled the car around. Asked him what price was for unlimited, but he said he didn't know, prices were up front. After paying for 1 wash, low and behold, there was a sign behind him. I was ticked because I could have paid a little extra and got a full month. At the end of the was the button showed go, I put in gear and moved forward only for a big chunk and bump. Pulled over to have inside cleaned. After a while, one customer walked back past me and said, "You better check your car. These kids aren't cleaning." When I was called over, I instantly liked At the back of my car outside, and it was filthy. I asked, and they just kind of looked at me. I showed the kid the diet, he pulled out a tag and haphazardly wiped it, smearing more than anything. I asked for the tag and began stopping my trunk, then gave it back and asked why I'm cleaning my car. I then looked inside and saw dirt everywhere on Mats, under mat, doors, etc. I stated, "So this is a $40 car wash and walked back to sit down. About 7 minutes later, they called me over. Top of Matt's looked better but not under. There were inside visible area dusty and hadn't seen any attention. I looked in the trunk and asked about dirt and was told that's the other packet extra 15. I said I'm not talking about dog hair in talking about regular dirt, a vacuum picks up. Took pictures and left as already running late at this point. At least if the kid had been educated, he could have talked to me about the unlimited, or I could have set that up, then I'd at least have a clean car after 30 washes. And not to mention the equipment or kids scrubbed off my football emblem that's been there for years and made it thru plenty of washes. I feel that it had to be kids because that drive thru didn't seem to touch my trunk, and the wheels/rims were awful. Appears they started rims and got tired or bored. Very very disappointed as it is close to my home but I can't trust to spend my money there and get a dirty car with non challant attitudes. Added pics, and that's not all of them. I'm new to the area and chose to try this car wash due to the monthly package. It's convenient and has moderate service. I say this because I have been twice and my vehicle wasn't vacuumed very well and my windows are not as clear as I would like. It seems as though the young men working are concerned about rushing. I pointed out how my window was not wiped from the spray and the attendant apologized and wiped it. I appreciate that and would recommend they slow down. Repeat customers are key. This is my follow-up from my BAD review on the Autobell car wash located at 3633 Savannah Hwy., Johns Island. Sally B., a Customer Service Rep., responded back that same day 21/14 asking me to send then a private message to them of the location (In my review)? And my contact info. Did I respond "NO" When you go to this car wash at the exit when your done with the wash session, to the left are several lanes set-up for maybe the full-service vehicles. But they only have say three staff there. They should have an area for people to pull over to wipe down their vehicles since no one is there to do so and to provide a barrel of clean towels for them to do so. That way a person can get out wipe down the glass and mirrors and inspect their vehicles. And if it is still dirty they have the opportunity to go through the car wash again! Instead they are back at home and finding out they just wasted their money for a car wash. And why treat customers differently by how much they spend on your car washes. I/We get it, hiring too many staff just to attend to wiping customers vehicles down digs into your profit but your in the business of cleaning people's vehicles! I guess Autobell's car wash means just that we wash cars not dry them! Well enough of my ranting and raving on this business. I took my brand new car there last month and my rear light got broken with the thread from the washers stuck in the glass and they still said it wasn't their fault because it's never happened to anyone else. I'm severely disappointe. I hadn't even had my car for a month yet and it cost $1500 to get fixed after a $34.99 car wash. I will never go back. Be careful. read more

Summerville location on 17a. My wife has had no issues with service in the past but the last two visits have left her disappointed. This last visit was on the morning of Thursday the first of February. While the exterior was done to my wife's satisfaction, the interior left much to be desired. Same as her previous visit, the carpet and seats were not vacuumed well, and the rear window which she specifically requested the attendant to pay special attention too, was smeared not cleaned even after having it cleaned a second time. I came here in September and wrote a review. I was told someone would reach out to me about my expeience and I never heard from anyone. I decided to visit on Saturday. Last time I was here I saw a sign to sign up for text messaging for promotions. I had a $3 off of $20 or more I was planning to use since I opted in for text messaging from them. Connor was the employee that helped us upon arrival. We opted for the 29.99 package. My husband and I showed him the promo code and he said they don't do stuff like that. He was typing in the code and told us it was expired. I told him and showed him it expired on 3/31/21. He said he did not know why it was not working but could not do anything about it. I asked to speak to the manager. He told us he was the manager. I asked if he was going to make this right, and he said there was not anything he could do. I was a little taken back, but cars were lining up behing me, so I just said thanks and started the car wash. I was appauled that nothing was done about it. I mean I know it was only $3, but I asked Connor why have customers sign up for the text messaging if they cannot use the deals sent to them. I was not happy to say the least. I waited outside while my car was detailed. There was pollen on my car still after paying for the $29.99 package. I pointed it out before tipping the staff and they wiped it off. Would not recommend. The outside of my car looked good but they didn't clean the inside. I just purchased a used car and wanted to take it in and get it detailed. I paid $36.99 and had to come home and finish the cleaning myself. They didn't touch the middle console, doors or the cup holders. read more

For the record. I go here at least once a week. I'm a monthly member and these guys are great. My comments are for management. This past Sunday I went and there was one car ahead of me, already completed and parked in the detailing lane. I was directed to pull up behind that car, not unusual. There were two staff leaning in and talking to the driver. That left one staff member to detail my car. He did it all. Normally, wouldn't care. But today was in a hurry and as hot as it was all the water dried up on my car. When it was time to leave... I had to be redirected around the parked car. With the driver showing pictures off their phone to the two staff members. I'm not a fan of driving over electrical cords and vacuum hoses. I drove back past the lot 20 minutes later. Parked car still there. Not sure what the answer is. Part of me says the staff should have asked the driver to move on... see ya next time. read more

I needed my car washed really bad and this place was less than 5 minutes from my job so I thought I'd give them a try. Me thinking they would do a great job, I got the $31.99 wash and what a waste of money!!! Exterior wasn't clean as I thought it would be and the interior looks like it was barely touched. Food was still under the seat along with a bottle of lotion so I know they didn't bother to vacuum under my seats. I don't usually write reviews unless a service was extremely great or not so good. The windows were smeared on the inside and I don't think their vacuum was working either. I'm very disappointed in the service at this location and won't go back.
