When you take the time and effort to change your brake pads and have the car up in the air and tires removed and you find that the wrong parts were sent, then you have to scramble to try and find the correct brake pads in a auto parts store, it was a bad experience. Ordered 2 fuel filters for my 1984 VW Vanagon. Both filters arrived damaged from poor packaging. I went through the process outlined on the Autohous web page to inform the company of the damaged product. I filled out the on-line forms and submitted photos of the damaged filters. It's been 4 days since I reported the problem and I still have not heard from Autohaus. Seems this is a company that is happy to take your money, but not willing to correct problems with their product. I'd recommend others think twice before ordering from Autohaus. Poor customer service. FYI, I contacted my credit card company and filed a complaint. They did a charge back, so I got a full refund. So Autohaus doesn't profit from ignoring me. Sweet!! read more

They sent me an email asking "Let Us Know How We Did", but the email I sent was "Undeliverable", no such address. So I'm posting here instead. I think you should not list an item as in stock, and sell it, when it is not. It took three days to inform me of this. Considering the mistake, you could've contacted me with alternate options so the order would not be delayed. I would've gladly done that vs starting over, because it seems it takes three days to get to it. I would've placed that second order with you for that alternate item, but I was too annoyed at that point. I also think you should list the entire order on the packing slip, then each line item should show; Qty ordered (x), Qty shipped (x). If shipped does not match ordered, then it should have a note. Eg; backordered, or whatever the story. My order was in two shipments, but the slip in the first box only listed what was in that box, no mention of the remaining items. Considering the aforementioned part fail, I was forced to email you to find out what is going on in case I need to place yet another order. I place a lot of orders at my work, with a variety of companies, and the packing slips are usually as I mentioned. Overall your prices were good and I like your website and selection, but will I remember that next time I need parts, or will I remember the missing part hassle? read more

Needed an alternator for my Range Rover, the place I go to is great but told me I'd be better off getting my own part as the dealership is ridiculous ! He told me the OEM manufacture that Land Rover uses and Autohaus had it for 1/3 the price, I will say I was a little skeptical because the price was so low and I needed new not reman, but it came brand new !!!! I own a 1983 Mercedes 240D with a manual transmission. I ordered and installed a FTE master clutch cylinder from Autohaus. The part was reasonably priced and arrived in 2 days. Going over my records I noticed that I had previously replaced this same FTE master clutch cylinder twice before and they seemed to be going only 12K miles before failing. FTE is supposed to be OE equipment so I don't understand why the short life - plus they are just an absolute pain to install under the dashboard. The clutch slave cylinder is not having this problem (from another brand) and I am using new brake fluid Dot-3 for each new install. This is the only part in the brake/clutch system that keeps failing. Anyone else having this same problem with FTE master clutch cylinders? read more

On September 29 I ordered from Autohaus AZ an oil filler Cap for my car , it supposed to arrive on October 4 but was sent back by USPS because no apartment was put down, I had another order from them previously and had no problem, my apartment number is already in their system. I sent them an email since this was the only way to get a hold of them explaining the situation. I got an email back saying I did not give the apartment number from a rude sales person. I told him my apartment is already in the system and sent him a screenshot. He told me your order is canceled and your money is being refunded. They refunded me less $6.99 . I contacted my credit card company and filed a dispute. I should get the entire purchase price refunded, it's not my fault they're sales person is so incompetent not able to put the right address down that is already in their system. Have been purchasing parts from autohaus az for about 10 years. Recently received a water pump that was defective for my LR3. Despite the part being completely unusable out of the box(gasket surface was not machined so no seal will occur) , autohaus AZ refused my return for a mere $30, citing that I was outside of the return period.
