When you buy a pair of trunk struts, you expect new stock. One of the pair sold to us says it's from 04-05-2020 and the date code on the strut is day 113 of 2020. FOUR years. If I wanted something 50 MONTHS old, I could buy used parts. Since struts are replaced in pairs, I fear I will not get full life from the effort to put these in. This was bad decision making by AutohausAZ - it never should have been shipped with one 11 months from manufacture, the other one over 4 years old. Trunk struts are high failure items - gotta wonder. I have used AutohausAZ for maybe 20 years in keeping family member's cars running. I never had a problem with their service until June 2024 when I ordered a right hand door window lifter, and scheduled an INDY shop to install it. The lifter came and I placed it in the car and took it to be installed. A short time later the shop called and said the lifter was for the LH (left hand) door. The shop then bought a lifter and charged me 8 times what the Autohaus AZ lifter cost. so I figured I would return it since it was the supplier's mistake sending me the wrong side. I clicked on returns and it didn't offer any free shipping but I was able to start a return authorization. I sent a msg using AHAZ's chat and I got a reply in a short time saying I would be credited for what I returned no mention of the shipping label I wanted. I sent a follow up msg by email to them but after 2 days with no reply I figured I would check Yelp and see if others had issues such as this. YES INDEED! I saw numerous complaints related to AHAZ ignoring what they don't want to face related to cost. Its ALL ABOUT PROFIT!!! so let them pay the price long term, because with my search I discovered FCPEURO! and they have what I looked for in comparison at the same or less cost than AHAZ so ADIOS AutoHaus AridZona!!!!! This review is for 20+ years of online ordering. I noticed the many recent negative reviews and I guess that I have been lucky to be spared the headaches. I mainly ordered maintenance parts for my wife's two Mercedes which the dealers charge a bundle (if Mercedes ever puts out a service manual, I would be ordering for more interesting projects). The correct OEM parts always arrived within 2 business days to next door CA though the smaller parts in labeled plastic bags always needed part number confirmations at Autohaus' and the manufacturers' websites. In the recent past, not sure presently, Autohaus sometimes contracted out orders to Southern Cal warehouses and I would get the parts the next business day. My last order was last week, direct from Autohaus, all correct parts arrived after confirming those smaller parts in plastic bags. Up to about 5 years ago, Autohaus shipped free for $75+ orders. Too bad free shipping is gone. read more

The part was promised on Monday at the latest. It arrived Thursday. They charged me $8 to ship a tiny rubber seal weighing 1 ounce via USPS. They could have shipped FedEx at that rate. I order 3 items from them which they have in stock. I paid extra $50 for overnight delivery and I only received 2 out of 3 item. So of course no one answer customer service line when you trying to call them. Finally someone got back to me via email saying the last item was shipped out from a warehouse closer to me. 6 days later I received the part. I requested a refund for my overnight shipping but they just choose to ignore me. Never again I want to do business with this company. Terrible experience. The whole "online only" ordering and customer service is fine if they don't make a mistake. They made a mistake. I paid for expedited, they shipped ground.As a result my temporary plate expired, and my car has to sit on a hoist for 4 extra days, now uninsured, at a cost 100.00 per day. If I could have just called someone we could have come up with a solution. Instead I had to Email my request. By the time the dust settled it was days, not hours as it should have been. If they are so busy that they can't handle phone calls then they need to charge marginally more and get some extra humans working the phones. All of their products state "Leaves warehouse in 1-2 days." I haven't had a single order leave the warehouse in 1-2 days. Weeks will go by without hearing anything. They state they have a customer support chat with BS hours. They're never online. They offer a BS phone number that doesn't connect you to anyone.
