Automatic Taco is located in a super cool market area with multiple bars and restaurants called "The Commons". You sit cafeteria style in the center where they have lots of cute booths and tables. We ordered drinks at the bar at Automatic Tacos first and then got in line to order tacos. There were lots of options for drink selections, we all ordered something totally different to try. I had the pina colada azul, which was delicious and refreshing! I tasted my friend's drinks and they were equally tasty! Taco time... we love tacos!! We were so excited to try a place we found on yelp! We each ordered an appetizer.. chips and the trio of salsas and guacamole, chips and queso and the AMAZING crispy Brussel sprouts! The queso was delicious too... it was a different texture than your typical queso dip, it was thick and so yummy! The guacamole was also very tasty. The chips were super crispy! The amazing crispy Brussels were my favorite thing we ordered, they were so good! I would seriously eat them for a meal! There were so many options for tacos! We all ordered something different so we could all try different ones. I ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken and Green Curry Shrimp. The hot chicken one was awesome and I loved the fried avocado from the Green Curry Shrimp taco. The shrimp however had a fishy taste so I didn't eat it. I eat shrimp all of the time, I am from the Lowcountry, so I know not to eat shrimp that tastes fishy! I took off one star for the shrimp.. everything else was delicious! We ordered our food and sat at the bar, waiting for our number to be called. While waiting we witnessed the female bar tender cleaning a can with her fingers and then licking her fingers. When she noticed us, she placed the can behind the bar and walked over to take our drink order. She did not wash her hands. I went for a quick bite on a Friday afternoon and it wasn't too busy but the commons itself was. I was really happy with how easy to read the menu was and how many cool options there are for tacos. I tried the Korean pork belly taco and it was so good and the flavors fit so well together. It had cashews and kimchi but the kimchi wasn't spicy which was great for me preference. We were visiting on the Fourth of July and the Greenville Commons area was PACKED, but we ordered and received our food super quickly despite the crowd. We got the grilled steak, chorizo, and pork pastor tacos - all of which tasted like a firework going off in my mouth (SO GOOD SO FLAVORFUL!). had a very disappointing experience and will not be returning. When I arrived, the sign at the cash register said "closed," but there was no indication that the bar area was also closed. Assuming the bar was still open, I waited there to order a drink. An employee approached and, in an unnecessarily rude tone, asked, "What are you doing here?" I calmly responded that I was hoping to order a drink, at which point they looked at me with visible disgust and in a raised aggressive tone sharply said, "We are closed," while shaking their head at me. There was no clear signage indicating the bar was closed, and I felt the staff's reaction was disrespectful and uncalled for. It was an unwelcoming and uncomfortable interaction, and I have no intention of returning. How was I supposed to know the bar was fully closed? There are better ways to handle this than immaturely yelling at a customer. read more

Perfect sauce ratio as well and the pickles were an awesome addition. Pastor: it came with a beautiful thick slice of pineapple which was a nice change from it being cut and included in the meat.
