First time at Tipsy Taco. The decor is wonderful very bright and clean. Server was very helpful and fast. For apps we had mild salsa and a guacamole dip with chips. Chips were thin and crispy. Everything was fresh and tasty. Ordered Enchiladas, two beans and one chicken. Served with a side of beans and rice. Tasty sauce on the top. There is a brunch menu too, we ordered the Pancakes with churro on the top. Plenty to take home Bathrooms were good although dimly lit. Overall we had a great experience. Would recommend. read more

6/5/26 - party of 2 late lunch Who could resist a name like Tipsy Taco? We picked this place for a quick lunch while apartment hunting. My son had 3 pork tacos - a bit dry but decent. I had the black bean burrito bowl and it was a nice blend of black beans, rice, grilled yellow and red peppers and a ton of queso. A bit heavy on the queso but still enjoyable. First time I've ever been charged for chips & salsa - they're always free in GA. I liked the thin crispy chips. On a Friday at 2pm, the place was empty. Some of the best tacos I have ever had. I have been thinking about these tacos ever since I had them. I will absolutely get the drunken piggy and the seol mate tacos again. Went here for a business lunch. The place is HUGE. Its a warren to be able to fit all the businesses that might all go out for lunch at the same time. I ordered three individual tacos, and we had the mild salsa. We were warned the mild salsa was a bit spicy and this was not true at all. Whats funny is that I ordered 3 vegetarian tacos and I don't see them on the menu at all. In fact not a single vegetarian taco is listed on the menu today. I didn't like the one with the potatos and thats because they were sliced and then cooked which made it hard to eat, but the other two were just fine. The staff creates tension with customers, the lady who claims to be the GM cusses at employees and gives customers glaring looks. She does not need to be in a customer service role. There are only a few people there that are usually smiling a tall guy with glasses, the dark skinned bartender the shorter male server, the really skinny brunette and the short busboy. It seems like the person causing the tension is the one that is supposed to be the way that is guiding the restaurant to succeed. She is a very hostile person and anyone can see the tension she creates in the restaurant. This was such a disappointing experience, and we won't be back. Children's meals are now $7 and does come with a drink. (But our son doesn't drink sugary drinks at dinner). The side choices are pathetic though; either some form of bean, corn, or French fries. No veggie option or fruit. All starch or beans. Then our fajita meal only came with 3 small tortillas. Not nearly enough and an extra 3 small tortillas was an additional $1. Which price-wise isn't a lot but it's the principal of it. Service was subpar and we slowed down our food consumption so we could wait for the waitress to come see if we'd like anything else to drink. Staff needs training around handling drunk/belligerent customers. Staff also should not be drinking alcohol while at work. I was sitting at the bar by myself, one AirPod in and minding my own business. The rest of the bar was empty except for two men, sitting all the way on the other side. They were loudly discussing their opinions about politics, which is fine. They then pointed to me, a woman with short hair, and loudly said " Dykes like her are what's wrong with this country." This was a good place to visit for a first. It wasn't busy but our service seemed to really hate working. He was very short and not friendly which sucked but it happens. I tried to be nice and tell him it was our first visit which made him a little nicer but not any more attentive. The booth we sat in was dirty and there was some sticky substance near where I sat in 2 different spots which was gross. But I just brushed it off. We came in for lunch. Honestly just eat at home. I would rather eat ramen noodles. The food was just not good at all. As far as the service it was 5 stars our server was super sweet and all of the staff was friendly, but at the same time we came to eat not mingle and this place just doesn't have good food. so... Just left tipsy taco on Woodruff Road. Our server Maddie was wonderful. Excellent service Maddi. Five stars for you. Our food was awful...absolutely awful. The chips were cold and broken pieces for 80% of the plate -guacamole was delicious. The salsa was watered down.. I got the grouper it was almost raw. I got the cauliflower soft taco. The cauliflower was cold and It was beans on top of cauliflower. That's it.. my husband got the grilled shrimp taco the shrimp was undercooked the steak taco he got was fine. I should've known when I walked in the door and asked if the outside seating area allowed smoking, and the girl at the desk said "I don't know I have no clue." Looking for outdoor seating on this beautiful day. This location has a huge tent in the parking lot for this season. The tent gives the best of outdoors...shade with fresh air and a festive feel! We started with the chips sampler. Nice light crispy chips with Salsa, Guacamole, and Queso. The Deluxe Carne Asada was nice. Good flavors and a mix of crispy taco inside soft taco. I just got a to-go order from this place and honestly, I'm super disappointed. I ordered two different kinds of tacos--paid around $25 for three total--and every single one was extremely salty. Like, overwhelmingly salty to the point it was hard to even eat. I also asked for avocado ranch on the side, and not only was it missing from the bag, they didn't put any on the tacos either. For the price, I expected way better. Instead, I got three salty tacos and zero attention to detail. Definitely not worth it, and I don't plan on coming back. You ever had a Frozen Flight at your favorite Mexican stop?? Me neither! And since I like just about any margarita and any taco... I let the waitress pick. Give me your best! She did not disappoint! We decided to brave the crowds on Valentine's Day and came here for dinner. The parking lot looked packed but surprisingly we were seated with no wait! Our waiter was very friendly and informative, emphasizing their use of fresh ingredients and them making all of their menu items from scratch daily. As other reviewers mention, this mexican restaurant does not provide free chips and salsa which is slightly disappointing but definitely not a dealbreaker. We ordered the chips and salsa ($3) and learned that the chips would be replenished but the salsas are charged individually per flavor and/or refill. Our waiter recommended doing the dip trio if we wanted to try multiple but with just two people we opted for the black bean and corn salsa only. It was fresh and flavorful and a plentiful portion! For dinner we ordered the el patron fajitas to share which ended up being way more food than we anticipated! The fajitas had filet, shrimp, chicken and lobster atop a pile of grilled veggies. They provide a large bowl with cheese, lettuce, guacamole, sour cream as toppings and we each were given a side bowl of rice and beans. I just ordered a steak burrito and steak quesadilla to go. I checked my order in the car and there was no hot sauce. I went back in to ask for hot sauce, and the woman said they do not offer hot sauce for free. WHAT???? She was rude and said she didn't know if I really even had an order, even though the hostess was right there who I interacted with while taking a pic with the Taylor Swift standee. She said I was not entitled to hot sauces, but would do it this time (to get rid of me). Great staff!!! Carol "the Best Bartender Ever!!!" Is the reason that we go to Tipsy Taco, without her it's just good food but when she's there it's the best place it town!! Really good food and the new menu is awesome!! The only negative is that they removed the wings which were a hit with me and my family. On the weekends they provide entertainment for the outside dinners and the bar is full of friends. Great place, highly recommend it. read more
