I have been going to AutoMetrics for about 4 years now and have not been disappointed once. They don't take advantage of the lack of knowledge I have with cars, instead they send out a PDF form of the car inspection they preformed, which includes links to video's that educate you on the parts that your car may need. The technology they use is state of the art. I was quizzing one of their employees on my ride home, and she say's that whenever a new product comes out, Brian the owner, researches the product and bring his knowledge to the table. They do a pretty good job staying up to date with new technology. The staff is great, they truly go out of their way to ensure their customers are happy. Brian, the owner of the establishment is no different from any of the other employees. I happen to pop in a few days ago for a quick question, and Brian took the time to walk out to my car and look under the hood. Not only was my question answered, but I left knowing the function and purpose of many of the parts located under the hood of my car. I feel that they are honest and fair when it comes to pricing. I like that they don't make me feel pressured to get my car serviced like other placed I've been to. They are pretty good about getting you in and out pretty quickly because they understand people have busy lives. I was 1600 miles away from home on my car decided tha it wanted to overheat and my engine would not turn over after that. My insurance company towed my vehicle to the shop because it was the closest in the area while in the tow truck I asked the gentleman if this is a good place and he said that a lot of people go there and that this is where they take most of their vehicles to get fixed. The guys were very quick to call and give me an update as to what was going on with the car. Unfortunately I've blown head gasket what I wasn't surprised. & I wasn't able to get it fixed there because the vehicle wasn't as worth as much as it would have cost to fix the car. I will say though but I feel like I made a lifelong friend all of the gentlemen there are amazing and so is the young lady that I saw there they were great to respond and very honest with everything that they were doing. I especially connected with the owner Brian who was a very understanding person he's a great person to be around has an awesome sense of humor and just made me feel completely comfortable and help me out because I was completely stranded and ended up having to fly home leave the majority of my things in my car and they took care of everything with the car so I could get me home. Friendly and honest I had recently moved to town and just had some work done to my car making the drive up a few states away. Included in this was a new radiator - it was cracked and caused the "maintenance required soon" message to pop up. Needless to say, just over a month and only a few thousand miles later when I saw the message pop up again I was not happy. I called and explained what was going on and that I had just had some work done to my car in a different state and that it had been in good shape and I couldn't imagine what would be wrong. I asked if they would do a free estimate and they said yes. When I got in, they said that the trigger from my oil change had not been re-set (since I had it done at the same time as the radiator) and they checked it out and let me know my car was good to go within minutes. My daughter was driving through Central Washington on the Friday of Memorial Day Weekend when her car broke down outside of Yakima. Not knowing any mechanics in Yakima we took a chance on having the car towed to AutoMetrics. I am so grateful that they got the car in right away to diagnose the problem. Unfortunately, the engine is toast. But the guys at AutoMetrics were kind and helpful to my daughter and her friends as they waited a few hours to get picked up. They also were happy to let the car sit in their lot until I could get up from Portland on Wednesday to retrieve it. When I arrived, the guys were very courteous and helpful and they helped me get the car on to the tow dolly. I recently had a idling issue with my 1994 Saturn. After scouring the internet I decided to try Autometrics in Yakima, WA. The staff there was above board and totally knowledgeable about my vehicle, even though they specialize in Foreign cars.... Instead of trying to sell me a lot of "UN-needed" parts they told me about a fuel injection/induction service. This service cleans the fuel system and gets rid of "carbon" build up. I had the service performed and to my total surprise my Saturn hasn't run or performed this well since I bought it new. I am in amazement and extremely thankful to have found such an HONEST group. I took my 2000 jeep grand Cherokee limited 4.0 in to Autometrics. I was impressed with their knowledge and the friendliness of the staff. The shop was very clean as was the appearance of the employees. After discussing my vehicle's issues with them I felt very comfortable with their diagnoses. The shuttle service was super convenient and they happily gave me a ride to where I needed to be and picked me up after the work was complete. I was very happy about the fact they called me to keep me informed about the status of my Jeep and the total repair cost was spot on with what they told me. I cannot say enough about this place. Absolute professionalism from the start. When I called, Mark at AutoMetrics, he recommended a tow company that took great care of my vehicle when my family and I were stranded returning home across the pass. Our truck did not make it but we knew we were in good hands. They had my truck in the shop the following day and made all repairs to my cooling system within 5 days. That was unexpected to say the least. Mark made follow up calls, provided me with a detailed report that included pictures and kept me up to date whenever there were changes. I have never really been the person to take my vehicles to a mechanics shop but last week I had a bad oil leak that I knew I couldn't fix. So I was recommended from a stranger to come here to Autometrics. So I dropped my keys off and was told that it would be inspected and I would receive a phone call when judgement day came for repairs. So I agreed to have them fix it. It's going to be done by tomorrow afternoon and I can't believe how quick they handle repairs like mine but I'm glad they all know what they are doing. I strongly recommend doing business with Autometrics. They are honest, fair guys and they give great customer service. They are experts at what they do and I know I can always trust them to take care of me. They have free WiFi, so I can relax and catch up on emails, homework, etc. on my laptop while they're working on my car. I am so grateful for the time, patience and care given to me. I was told my car had a transmission issue, and was treated indifferent at a chain run transmission shop. I attempted one more shop and stumbled upon this hidden gem. Mark quoted me worse case scenairo, immediately looked at my car(no appointment!) and told me to relax while they looked over my car. The soothing music, the massage chair, the fresh coffee--very relaxing and therapeutic. It turned out to be a MUCH cheaper and instant fix. My car has over 200k! This guys are the best!!!!! They are honest and worked with me every step of the way!! The prices weren't bad either! They stand by their work and uphold their warranties without any problems. I was able to call and almost always get to speak with the mechanic working on my Jaguar. They also completed all work in a very timely manner. This is the only place to go for repair maintenance and service for my Volvo needed a key and issues arose their communication skills and knowledge are hands down the best I'm skeptic when it comes to repair shops this one you can be assured you'll get quality friendly service reasonable pricing and quick turnaround. I was visiting Yakima and found Autometrics on the web - one of few places open on Saturday. I was having loud exhaust noise from my 2003 Ford Expedition. Mark checked me in, offered donuts, coffee, and before I could finish the coffee the problem had been found and fixed. Mark took me out to see the problem - a missing bolt on an exhaust flange. The bill, $2.50 for the bolt and $20 for labor. What a great, honest repair shop! If I lived here, this would be my shop for all future issues. Our windshield wiper fluid refused to work during a drive from Seattle to Salt Lake City. They save the day, quickly and professionally I noticed that after having my car sitting most of the winter that there was an oil puddle on the garage floor. After calling in a panic to Autometrics, they got me into the shop and up on the hoist. After thinking the worst, the problem was correctable with replacing a couple of O-rings that had dryed out and tightening some of the bolts on the oil pan.
