They will put you in the back burner for months when they don't want to deal with your car and leave it outside rotting in the AZ sun for months until you escalate. You will also end up picking up your car after paying thousands of dollars just to have to bring it to another shop to fix issues that weren't there when you brought the car in. Poor communication, poor customer service, no care and no urgency. If your techs are not equipped to work on the basics for a car with simple mods (which most corvettes have) then we should have been informed when bringing it to you and we would have gone else where before you destroyed the car. I researched the problems i was having with my 2025 Silverado before I went to AutoNation Chevrolet Arrowhead. my 2025 Silverado's mpg dropped from 17 mpg to 12 mpg the service advisor ( didn't tell me his name ) was very rude he didn't ask if there were any other problems he stated there was nothing they could do about fuel economy, he tried to claim it was because of the summer fuel, i informed him that in Arizona neither either or ethanol is added to the fuel during the summer, he then tried to claim MTBE is added, (MTBE was phase out nationwide in 2001) I informed him i would go to a different dealership where i wouldn't be treated this way or lied too. I decided rather than just leave I needed to speak with management, I pulled into the main lot and went inside to speak to someone in management, I was directed to the service manager Shanna she was polite professional and treated me with respect, I told her about my experience in service department, she asked me if the mpg loss was the only problem, I informed her that the auto-stop wasn't working and the transmission was jerky, Shanna asked me to drive back into the service department, Shanna had service advisor Michael Denen come out, he introduced himself to me,( he was polite professional and treated me with respect) he tested the system on my truck thru the OBD port he showed me and Shanna the results, it showed low voltage, Michael said that it might just be a bad battery and he stated that it would be covered by the warranty, Shanna said they would keep my Silverado for a few days to make sure there were no other problems. Michael asked me if I wanted to have my Silverado's maintenance service done while it was there i appreciated that and told him yes please take care of it, When I went in to pick up my Silverado Michael said he would have it washed for me, the same rude service advisor (he shares the same cubical with Michael) said my truck couldn't be washed because I have bed rails (he should be terminated), my Silverado has gone thru Jacksons carwash twice a week for the past year as well as other auto carwashes. read more

I've brought my vehicle in twice for the same warranty issue, both times with scheduled appointments and advance notice. Despite knowing exactly why I was coming in, the service team could not provide even a reasonable estimate of how long the repair would take. This wasn't a unique diagnostic issue; it was a known warranty repair that has been performed on many vehicles. On both visits, I was initially told the vehicle might need to stay for days, despite being assured when I scheduled the appointment that same-day completion would not be a problem. Even more frustrating, my vehicle sat in the parking lot for over three hours each visit before anyone looked at it. In total, I lost more than seven hours across two appointments and left both times without any work being completed. What concerns me most is the complete lack of scheduling transparency. In an era where service departments have access to repair histories, labor standards, and scheduling systems, customers should be able to receive a reasonable estimate of how long a known repair will take. Only thing: $50,000 markup over MSRP. For a near entry-level version of a car in its 7th year of this model run. When any corvette but a ZR1 is selling up to $20k under MSRP. I found another dealership with an allocation immediately available at MSRP. Just shows the caliber of greasiness you get at Autonation Arrowhead. lease a 2024 Chevy Equinox EV 2RS, and the service experience at AutoNation Chevy Arrowhead has been one of the most frustrating parts of owning this car. My first visit was for a turn signal issue that wouldn't cancel properly. That repair took almost a week. The issue came back and got worse, and by the third visit the turn signal failed completely -- which also disabled Super Cruise. I provided screenshots and error messages, and the repair still took nearly two weeks. The biggest problem was the communication. I barely received updates, even after multiple follow-ups. I eventually had to escalate through the call center just to get someone to call me back. When they finally did, they told me the car had already been ready. No one contacted me. When I picked the car up, it wasn't charged or cleaned after sitting there for weeks. As an EV driver, I had already spent extra money on gas for the rental they put me in, all while paying my monthly lease for a car I couldn't use. A small gesture of care would've gone a long way, but there was nothing. For contrast: I had a tire issue handled at Courtesy Chevrolet and they diagnosed and fixed it quickly at no cost. That one visit was smoother than all my service experiences at AutoNation combined. I really wanted to give AutoNation Chevy Arrowhead a fair chance, but the lack of communication, the long downtime, and the lack of basic consideration for the customer's inconvenience have completely pushed me away from returning for any future service or purchases. read more

I came in because my Chevy is under warranty. The computer kept rebooting, and the car wouldn't start. Holly helped me when I arrived around 10:30am and took the car back. Since I live out of the way, I decided to wait. By 3:00pm, I texted Holly for an update but received no response. Out of frustration, I went to sit in the entry area near the service techs outside. It wasn't until about 4:45pm that Holly finally responded--after seeing me waiting--and let me know the techs were just getting around to my car. She told me it was likely the battery and offered me a free oil change. While I appreciated the gesture, I'm still sitting here hours later, waiting for a simple battery replacement, watching other customers pick up their cars as service advisors head home. This entire experience has been extremely disappointing. Lack of communication, long delays, and leaving customers in the dark is unacceptable. Autonation Chevy sold me three separate parts that didn't fix my vehicle's issue, and when I asked to see the parts they claimed were "shot," they couldn't even produce them. Instead of transparency or accountability, I was met with excuses. After spending thousands of dollars and trusting their service department, I got my car back in worse condition than when I dropped it off. I expected honesty and professionalism from a name like Autonation, but what I got was the opposite. They misdiagnosed my vehicle, wasted my time and money, and left me without a working solution. I've had an okay experience. I had to walk away twice to start some sort of negotiation. I will say when I voiced my concerns there were some sort of efforts to fix it. I was told initially this car had a sunroof and push to start... but it wasn't and it didn't. A bummer, honestly. The top of the rear view mirrors are scratched. My sales person did tell me they spoke to the GM to get it fixed. I am to be scheduled soon. I do give him props because he is responsive! He gets back to me and replied- respectful as well. "We Buy Cars" So, my wife and I were buying a used car from Hertz Auto Sales. They have a "No Hassle" policy on their vehicles, but their trade-in offer for our 2015 Hyundai Sonata was pathetic. I contacted Carvana (online) and received an offer, but they did not want to see the car first. I called Carvana and the woman on the phone was, let's say rude. So we drove to AutoNation Chevrolet Arrowhead and Ricardo and Lexy assisted us. After a quick inspection of the car, they came back with an offer of $400 less than Carvana. When I told them about Carvana, they amended their offer to match. The next day we came back with the title and the selling process was quick and smooth. Edit as of 4/29/25: After my review, Charlie (sales manager, I believe?) called and asked for a 10/10 on the GM survey, saying he'd throw in the charging adapter I'd asked about before buying, despite Grayson originally telling me they couldn't provide one. When I later asked Grayson during a delivery update, he had no idea what I was referring to. I've since received the car, but obviously didn't receive the adapter. I also noticed numerous features that were shown on the car in the online listing that again, were apparently AI generated and not actually part of the car I was purchasing. I'm sad to write this because I loved this place and have had nothing but great experiences. The last two experiences were the worst. The service team is complete trash. Showed up for an oil change and they were going to charge me $120....even though they advertised $69.00. Then my vehicle was in an accident towed to their shop. I called and told the service team that insurance company set up a tow they said no problem. Tow company called them three times and left a voicemail (three voicemails) On top of that...they moved my vehicle to service line and didn't even inspect it. It has a hole in the radiator and the condenser is smashed. They had the tow slip and my key AND NEVER CALLED ME. Dean and Arraon. Dean confirmed he received the tow messages and service rep stated Serna they were so busy they couldn't call the tow company. Called back and Aaron literally confirmed and I quote, what's wrong with the car.......he said they were driving it around and then changed it to moving it to the service line. Complaint: On March 10th, 2025 our 2017 Chevrolet Traverse was severely damaged while in the care of Chevy AutoNation Arrowhead. According to their Service Manager, Shanna Sanmarco, the vehicle was on a lift for a brake bleed when a technician placed it in gear and fell out of the vehicle. The Traverse dropped from the lift, struck the open driver's door --hyperextending it -- and continued to roll into an adjacent service bay, where it collided with a mechanic's large toolbox. The result: extensive damage to the vehicle, including the rear bumper and door. Ultimately, their corporate insurance deemed the vehicle a total loss. The payout offer from their insurance was $12,431.50 -- roughly $6,000 less than what it would actually cost to replace our vehicle with one of comparable year, mileage, and condition. We provided examples of similar vehicles to support a higher valuation, but the insurer refused to adjust the offer. We then asked AutoNation to leverage their vast national inventory and help us secure a comparable 2017 Traverse at the payout amount. They refused. We also requested compensation for the financial gap created by their mistake. Again, they refused. We filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau In May 2025 which was forwarded to Chevy AutoNation Arrowhead for a response; none was received from the dealership - and the BBB ultimately closed the case due to lack of response. We sent letters to the dealership and to the parent company - AutoNation in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida - requesting resolution of the issue; no response was ever received from either. We entrusted our vehicle to AutoNation in excellent condition with the reasonable expectation that it would be returned in even better condition after service. Instead, due to their negligence, we are left with a total loss and a replacement cost approaching $19,000 -- an outcome that is not only disappointing but financially burdensome. While their insurance covers part of the loss, it does not come close to restoring us to the position we were in before AutoNation's error. That burden has been unfairly shifted to us, the customer. In our view, AutoNation should take full responsibility for the damage their technician caused and ensure that we are made whole--not left with thousands in unexpected costs for a situation we did not cause. We hope AutoNation reconsiders its position and takes meaningful steps to resolve this matter appropriately. As they have not demonstrated any desire to do so to date, we are reaching out to you for assistance, and to make the public aware of the wanton disregard with which this company treats its customers. read more

We were on the way home from work on the 101 in hubby's Corvette which rides low to the ground. We ran over something just before the Bell Rd exit. We exited at Bell Rd. and noticed a Chevrolet Dealership. There was a continuous loud noise coming from under the car. We pulled into the Service Department Bay concerned with the loud scraping sound. Kyle first sprung into action along with Thomas and Sean. They are all personable and represented AutoNation Chevy well. Kyle got down on the ground to investigate what was creating the noise. He saw a rod but couldn't pull it out because the car is so low to the ground. They pulled the car on a lift making it real easy to pull the rod out. We were soon on our way. I made an appt a few days ago for an oil change and a check engine light. I arrived 15 mins early and had to wait about 5 mins before I was approached. He left to get my service advisor and I watched as 4 employees were laughing and joking in their cubicle. I decided my time was being wasted and jumped back into my truck to leave when Ryan finally came up to my truck. I told him about the check engine light and he told me 3 day wait. Dean is always the man! While my first encounter a few years back coming here wasn't positive my second time coming back they gave me Dean. Ever since Dean has become my go-to man. He is always up front with me about what I need done, what can wait, and what is urgent. No bullshit, no yanking my chain, nothing. He also always helps me find ways to cut down costs. When I came in pissed about what Courteousy Chevy did to my poor car with the oil pan, he was quick to act on it and patch my car up CORRECTLY.
